Ive sent 2 of my children to both locations and each have its perks.The program is student-lead and outdoor/playbased. My oldest kid transitioned from the farm school to kindergarten within the Folsom-Cordova School district with confidence and the academic skills needed to succeed in school. My kids both gained problem-solving skills and a sense of how they fit in a community, also! The two teachers at the farm school are both professional and compassionate about their role there. How can I tell? Well you can just sense it every morning at drop off and at pickup But I also have had the opportunity to drop-in and observe the magic of learning happening. The teachers integrate music, dance, & art in their lessons and celebrate individuals from all types of backgrounds. The farm animals are an awesome addition for the kids by teaching them responsibility and compassion for others. I really recommend this school for kids with wild imaginations & loving hearts!

We had moved to Folsom from the Bay Area where he had been enrolled in a Spanish immersion preschool and it was important to me to be able to continue this for him, and I was thrilled that Step by Step offered this! Melissa is the BEST! And so are the teachers, he loved all of them and felt so safe and taken care of by them. He loved the animals, especially Maple the pig, and enjoyed being able to spend time with them and also be a part of taking care of the chickens. They prepared him so well for kindergarten, and helped him with important social emotional skills that have had him make the transition to kindergarten really smooth. I highly recommend this preschool, especially if you are looking for a Spanish immersion program.

Everyone is so motivating and supportive. The equipment is top of the line and they are always striving to get new and better things for their members. The coaches and owners is what really makes the place successful though. They all really care about the success of every individual that walks through their door. They make sure everyone is doing the workouts safely, and they know how to push you to work your hardest! I've been a member for almost a year now and come Monday- Friday. I wouldn't be where I am without the help of my coaches and my fellow gym members. If you are thinking about joining a gym choose cover six, you won't regret it!

Our Daughter loves going, has made a ton of friends, and is getting a great headstart from their curriculum before Kindergarten. Very affordable. And for Amador county residents commuting to Sacramento area, it is on the way and easy to drop off kiddos and get back on the road to finish a commute. Really a great daycare/ preschool option!
