I called and was met with the one of the kindest humans I have met on this journey of trying to find care for my elderly parent. Harue spent almost an hour on the phone with me giving me tips on how to find good places for my dad and even went out of her way to set us up with a time to tour another place that had an available spot for my dad. I can tell that Harue genuinely loves what she does and truly cares about people. While I'm sad they don't have any availability at this time, I got off the phone happy to know that there are still people who care about taking care of people. Thank you Harue! After changing ownership a couple of years ago, losing the director last year, and then undergoing…read morea massive re modeling project by the new ownership that was very difficult for both the staff and the residents, (the poor reviews speak to this time frame) and also navigating the lockdowns during the pandemic while being short staffed, we see a big improvement and the facility is finally truly serving the residents. Our friend has been there now in the Assisted Living part of Apple Ridge since mid 2022 and is getting the support and care he needs. He has made friends and has a roommate he likes. The re modeling and re construction is complete. The workers and staff are stable there now, and as far as larger facilities go, this one is quite good. The staff is available to speak to by phone and support the family members with concerns or questions that need to be addressed for their loved ones. They have a lovely courtyard that is gated and safe for residents to walk around and get fresh air and exercise. They have an activities director 5 days a week and the residents have music, musicians, dancing, bingo, etc., a dining hall and a music room with a piano.

It…read moreis a small facility in an upscale neighborhood of East Sacramento with a very home-like atmosphere. Each resident has their own room and bath. The 2 acres of gardens are beautifully maintained. The staff are well trained in the special needs for Christian Science nursing, and provide excellent and loving care. Participation in special activities such as music events, arts and crafts, shopping, going to church, picnics and other social activities are encouraged. Their religious beliefs are respected and spiritual growth encouraged through prayer and meditation.

My parents were both ill and…read moreKaiser was trying to be helpful by sending 123 Homecare to help with my dad who was non-ambulatory after coming home from a hospital stay. My mom was due to come home from a rehab five days after his return home. During one of those five nights without her, one of their employees stole $1,000.00 and three items of jewelry from my mom and dad's room while I slept across the hall. My dad was on sleep medication so I am not surprised that he didn't wake up. When my mom got home from rehab she checked the drawers where she had hidden money, there was more than one, and it was all gone. I filed a police report and contacted this company about the incident. After several months, they grudgingly turned the claim over to their insurance department who sent me an email saying that no one confessed, SHOCKER! Thus, they were sorry and could do nothing for us. I'm writing this now just to forewarn people that they have a thief among them so watch out for your loved ones personal items.

Then he hangs up on me when I ask him if anything is available, his only point seemingly is to tell me I am bothering him. If sales is this rude, I cant imagine how bad the service is there after your a tenant.

Kaiser moved my daughter to assisted living but I hated it (long story) so I asked them to move her back to hospital and Kaiser began to help me set up at home to care for her there. Kaiser Home Health met me the day she came home. It was completely overwhelming. There was so much to do, to learn, and to order! But Kaiser was wonderful! My RN case manager was perfect. She was extremely efficient and thorough, professional and friendly. We had speech, OT, and PT at first. People were coming and going all the time but communication was great and things went as smoothly as could be expected. I am so grateful to Kaiser Home Health for making it possible for me to care for my daughter at home. I'm forever grateful and happy that we have kaiser.
