This is always reassuring for the customer and makes me want to come back. It is best to make an appointment, they very kindly try to accommodate you when you have availability. They have many services, hair cuts, blow drying, colouring, facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. I went for the latter. Not that having groomed feet matters much during winter but the massages are just sublime. The cremes are very moisturizing and refreshing and the cup of tea just makes it more enjoyable and relaxing. It is an entire hour of pampering for £27, and for £20 you can get a manicure which takes half and hour. I would like to try their other services to see if they are up to my standards, but judging from my hands and feet, they are!

It was difficult to find a similar place in London (especially with the exchange rate back in 07! Eventually this spa popped up in my local town in Putney about 2 years ago offering 1 hr massages for a mere £35. It's relatively no frills but the rooms are pleasantly decorated but the walls are relatively thin so you may hear scuffling from the room next door. There is a steam room and shower downstairs as an option but I hardly use it. They offer 3 different types (Swedish, Combo and Thai) but I usually go for the Thai massage because it really gets the knots out of your back. I think it's a hit or a miss depending on the therapist you get but from my recent visit, it was definitely worth it.

I have gone back recently after having my baby and having sore shoulders through lifting/carrying my little and can say it was pleasing the same wonderful experience. Today I went to see Tat and he gave me a great massage while focusing a lot on unlocking my shoulder which he almost succeeded in doing. It is much better now. His technique is a mixture of traditional Thai (you can just have that if you want) and some deep tissue oil massage which is really great if you have problems. He definitely knows his stuff.
