Kelsi listened to my tales of bad haircuts so patiently and we had time to talk about the style I wanted--asymmetrical a-line, and even showed her some previous good haircuts I had. At first, she was going very conservative with the amount cut off, but we both realize that I have too much hair and need to pivot with removing volume via texturizing scissors without sacrificing the shape. She was also VERY rough the entire time, even if I mentioned it to her here and there and I felt a bit uncomfortable because the procedure takes a few hours and she was not very talkative at all. After everything, my hair turned out very badly and the top layers of my hair did not even take to the perm/curl. This means only the bottom layers of my hair are curled and the top layers are legitimately just straight/slightly wavy. I'm skeptical that this happened because my hairdresser started rushing towards the end of things. Only giving 3 stars because when I later asked if they could do anything for me, the kind woman at the front was very understanding and helpful. In the end, she was able to refund me some of the cost from getting a crappy perm.
