Words of warning to anyone that is a current season ticket holder, or considering to be one. I was looking over my bank account and noticed a $600 charge from the Sod Poodles. I reached out to my season ticket rep and he started spouting off "fees this and cancellation charges that" at which point I tell him that I have no idea what he is talking about. He proceeds to discuss an old contract that I am no longer under and how they "could have" charged me more but did me a favor and charged me less. When I go to point out that the current contract I am in doesn't state anything about these fees, I am ghosted for a few days. Then I get an email from Jeff Turner, assistant gm, that starts talking more about an old contract and how they are giving me benefits of loyalty by not charging me all the money they "could have" charged me. Regardless of any of that, I point out that in my current contract, the very last line (which is bolded and larger than the standard font) actually says that they WILL NOT charge my bank account any additional fees other than those that are listed on said contract. Well that $600 is no where on that contract. After I sent that email, I have received ZERO response from Mr. Turner, and that was almost 2 weeks ago. I have sent numerous emails asking for follow-up and I even reached out to my rep and all I got back was "Mr. Turner has had a busy week" and that he would "personally go check" with Mr. Turner and make sure I hear something back. Well that still hasn't happened. So only thing I can do now is to keep attempting to contact them, perhaps put in a fraudulant charge claim with my bank and also warn all of you guys too. I guess the way they figured they can start paying off the stadium more is to randomly/secretly charge people unknown fees and then just ignore customers when they call about them. So, like I said, check those bank accounts for any fraudulant charges from the Sod Poodles and make sure to warn you family/friends if they are considering getting season tickets. read more

Ridiculous! You cannot have access in the gate with a purse or diaper bag. Seriously- emptied my purse, but since there was no "prescription medication in a bottle" I needed to leave my purse in the car to be broken into & stolen, to go into the game. Left- only game I was attending this year & was a little excited. Won't EVER WASTE MY MNEY ON TICKETS AGAIN! read more

Love the small town feel in this minor league ball park. Food & beverage at captive prices. Traveling through the area and caught a game. Scored a free visor and a half price 'hometown hero' tickets. Enjoyed the between inning entertainment. Well staffed. Clean, newish stadium. Excellent ticket prices. read more

Went to the game last night. Parking inexpensive and friendly. People in gift shop very friendly. After that it went downhill. It was Marguerita Monday. $5.00 or so they said. Gates opened at 6. Game at 7.00. Went for Margueritas at 6.15. Woman said not ready. Come back in a 1/2 hour? Got two hot dogs and soda and chicken fingers and fries. $38.50 Chicken cold. Wife gave back and they gave us a hot one. No covers for soda because we did not buy the large one. Went to our seats in Club Section. Came down about the 5th inning for ice cream. One clerk. Six people ahead of us. Went back to our seats. Wife thirsty. Went to bar and asked for a bottle of water because the sink water was nasty. She told us she was out of water, get a waitress and she will get you a bottle. Left in about 1/2 hour, walked past ice cream stand and man who was ahead of us on line was still waiting. WORST experience at a minor or major league team. WILL NOT BE BACK! read more

Today was my first trip to the location. The game was fun my family enjoyed the event. The after fireworks show was great and the stadium is top notch. It shows that thought went into this design and lay out. I had heard parking was rough, however we found a free spot right next to the stadium. Good food and lots of family fun. The food and drinks are pricey, but what sports event is not these days. I do recommend you bring sealed water bottles. They let you bring in unopened water. Bottle water at the park is 4.50. Yes that is not a typo lol. Finally I do recommend this location and the team. read more

LOVE going to the Sod Poodles Games! We go every weekend and had an incident where a younger staff worker was being disrespectful and inappropriate and management was ON IT. They even moved us seats and made everything right with us. The Amarillo Sod Poodles games are simply amazing. All aspects of this team are run professionally. The staff is courteous, the food is good, the player talent is very good, and the stadium is amazing. No need to drive to Arlington any more to see good baseball. Save yourself a $ grand and drive downtown. First class all the way. read more

Awesome venue. But, seriously lacking in beer selections....mostly Coors products (gag). Could use some variety and microbrews....maybe Pondeseta or Long Wooden Spoon local brews? Also, $10 for a nasty Coors seems a bit high to me. read more
