My partner and I did a mini photoshoot with Amaris at a pumpkin patch event this fall, and it was fantastic! She took photos of the two of us with our puppy, and was really generous will all the locations and poses, as well as patient with our distracted pup. I'm really surprised by how many good photos she got of our dog considering he was so distracted! I love how the photos turned out in terms of composition and capturing us as a family - as someone who has worked with cameras in the film industry, I'm usually very picky about photos. My only regret is not wearing a more flattering jacket (but that's 100% on me) Will be reaching out for future shoots for sure :) read more

Amaris has done Fall photos for me and my toddler son for two years running now (and more to come). She's responsive and understanding. She is amazing with kids and able to give direction that captures their attention. Everything felt natural and we didn't have to do pose after pose after pose. Amaris is a talented photographer who clearly has a passion for what she does. She did an amazing job capturing the sweet newborn days of our son with a Newborn photo shoot in our home. She had a phone call ahead to prep us for what to expect and how to prepare to get the most out of our photo session. We hired Amaris for maternity photo session. My husband and I are not good at taking pictures.. We had no idea which venue to go to and we could be super awkward in front of a camera. Amaris contacted us weeks before the session and gave great suggestions on the time and venue and what to wear. During the session, she gave us ideas, suggested poses, and provided nice guidance on how to look natural. We just received the photos today, and WOW!!! Amaris was so easy to work with! From the beginning, she was super flexible with booking and tried to get an understanding of exactly what we were looking for as far as style/theme. I made clear that I wanted the blurred background look during the golden hour, and that's exactly what we got! Her work with natural light is superb. I asked her to photograph my engagement and wedding pictures. We met in person so that she could really get to know our personalities.
