He gave us basic pointers of what to do beforehand (like close the doors where the cats can hide under the bed) and the day of the shoot he captured really spectacular pictures of all of them. His calm personality helped even the shy and uncooperative cats open up. The many phone pictures I have taken of my cats through the years just don't compare to the quality and individual personality he captures in the photos. They were all postcard worthy - and I'm not just saying that because I'm partial to my babies, which I of course am. Another really cool thing is that he volunteers and takes gorgeous pictures of cats in need of homes. He had actually met a couple of my cats in years prior to our photo shoot when one was in the shelter (SFACC) and one with a rescue (Wonder Cat Rescue) and he remembered them! I can't say enough good things. Scout was intrigued in all the amazing sounds Marika made to communicate and it was such fun to watch Scout show her around our yard! The video she made for us truly captured the essence of Scout-and the depth of his wisdom, kindness and compassion in his eyes, and his social comings and goings!
