It's a partnership between famous chef Vikram Vij and Eat Up Canada Inc. All the recipes were created by Chef Vij. This location in Kanata is currently the only location in Ottawa. There are several locations in the GTA. I'm rarely out in Kanata anymore, but my husband and I were out there so I pulled out my UberEats app in search of nearby deals and Bombay Frankies popped up with a BOGO (buy one get one free) deal. Bombay Frankies had been on my list of places to try, so I was in luck. I got the Masala Chicken Frankie ($12.99 - with the deal we got 2 for this price). It was cubes of chicken, onion, tomatoes, and cucumbers covered in a tangy and spicy sauce, wrapped in a paratha. I was pleasantly surprised by how spicy the wrap was. It had a good amount of kick. Since this is Ottawa though, the prices at Malabar are a bit higher, but still very reasonable. The lunch specials are about $9.99 and samosas are about $1.50 each. I got the 3 meat and 2 veg lunch special for $9.99. I believe the selection changes daily. The day that I went the meat curries were mutton, fish, and butter chicken. They have milk hoppers too! They're called Appam on the menu :) The place is in a strip mall in Bells Corners, so lots of free parking. Same strip mall as the Scottish and Irish store and the Nepean Optometric Clinic.
