So much fun!!! Who doesn't love gaot yoga? Nice beginners yoga. There is no pressure for people new to yoga. You can just play with the goats if you want. It was a go with the flow environment. After all, it can be hard to focus if a goat decides to get in on the action. A must experience.

I will go back as often as I can. It brightens my day. Everyone is so kind and the feeding of the goats is such a fantastic experience.

Unfortunately, for most of us who know it was closed ,but it has now reopen at this new location. The new green meadow petting Farm is better than ever updated and supported by Osceola County. They are currently working every day to update it and to bring more attractions and more animals to continue the connection for the next generation.. our recent visit there indicates this very creed that brought us to them many decades ago. I will not elaborate the numerous emotions a parent may have watching their child touch a chicken or learn about a cow or other farm implements and machinery in a safe, clean, environment , but rather tell you go take your child and experience it for yourself. Admission is reasonable, especially for the various things that you could do there with your family any given day of the week. Parking is ample and spaces are wide, not only for your car, but for your children running in their meadows under a clear sky.. Thank you, Green Meadow Farms, especially to your staff for continuing to have the same great attitude ,even after all these years. We will continue to support you through the next generation..

We fed the animals, rode a pony, played in the corn pit and on the playground as well as took a tractor ride. We saw pigs, donkeys, alpacas, and our favorite the bunnies. We were able to do everything we wanted to do in under 2 hours. There are a few photo ops. All employees we encountered were pleasant. We all enjoyed it but I felt it was expensive.

I can't think of anything that is more fun than spending an hour with two different capybara babies. Mango and Kiwi. On the way in we petted the camels. They came right up to the fence and stuck their large heads out. They were seeking attention because they very used to being petted. We were startled when one made a loud guttural braying sound. The owner explained they were letting us know they want carrots. We had about 20-25 minutes with each capybara so all together the encounter was an hour. We got a plate of raw sweet potato sticks and romaine lettuce leaves to feed each animal. They were about 4 months old and Mango the male will be about 140 pounds full grown and Kiwi was the runt of a different litter and is expected to be approximately 90 pounds when full grown which is a very small capybara. It was just my friend and me so we spent time petting and feeding them. They love water so their coat was smooth but fur like a beaver. They are in the same family as guinea pigs so they make a similar sound. They have leathery pads on the bottom of their back legs because they can kick like a kangaroo. They like being scratched under their chin and relax so much they fall over and then are disoriented about what just happened. Hilarious. Bambi's Mini Petting Farm has several different types of animal encounters including baby doll sheep and two miniature cows. They had three goats which were having kids the following weekend and you can either tour the farm or select to bottle feed the baby goats. They have plans for a holiday tour and are getting a sloth. Check out their Facebook page for events.

    Gatorland - Adventure hour

Our last day in Orlando and we went to one of MY Favorite Places: Gatorland!…read more We first visited this Gator Sanctuary with our son, Mathew when he was 3 years old and we all loved it. Gatorland was started in 1949 by Owen Goodwin as a 1/2 day Family Attraction. It has since grown and now the Park has over 100+ Gators including a few albino's. Since I last visited the Park in 2018, Gatorland has added a Zipline with 5 lines which zip over Gators. This was an absolute MUST DO! The 2nd favorite thing I LOVE doing, is feeding the parakeets aka budgies You can purchase a bundle of popsicle sticks with peanut butter at one end rolled in bird seed. The Birds will flock to You and start eating. You can actually feel their "tootsies" on your skin and they are very warm. You MUST shuffle you feet to avoid stepping on the little ones who are pecking away at the dropped birdseed on the floor. My 3rd favorite thing is feeding the Gators. You can purchase Turkey hotdogs, break them into pieces and toss them to the Gators! They come swimming up to you to be fed. How COOL! My next favorite is the Gator Show which involves completely harmless Gator: wrestling. Basically the Trainer gently straddles the Gator and tips his chin under his. Be sure to come hungry as they have a cafe which serves, you guessed it: Gator bites/nuggets. They are SO yummy!Okay by now, you have figured it out: I LOVE the entire Park and highly recommend that if you visit Orlando, add Gatorland with Ziplining to your Vacay Adventure, you won't regret it!

The event was very organized. They guided us on where to park, welcomed us, and explained the events. We were offered homemade lemonade. The farm is well kept and all the animals are thriving. You can tell they are well loved. The baby goats were absolutely adorable. We sat in a circle on hay bales in a fenced in play area. We each got to give a baby goat a bottle and fed them greens. We got plenty of time to feed and pet the goats. Farmer Rick gave us a tour and educated us on the animals and their care. We got to see the adult goats, pigs, chickens, and turkeys. We got to see the goats again before leaving. We had the opportunity to shop their products including eggs and goat soap. This was such a fun event and I loved supporting a local farm. The family who runs this farm, really indeed loves the animals, ALL of the animals, they don't just have goats, they have hogs and chickens and other animals. It's such a little place but filled with so much fun! I went here on a trip and it was great. We were greeted warmly, it's literally in a neighborhood right on land, it's near houses. The price was super cheap and so worth it. They even have a little stand and sell things I bought goat soap. The session itself was so great, we had a yoga instructor and the baby goats were released to us, we fed them and then we had the session as they jumped on us, made us smile and we got cuddles here and there. I was lucky to be able to get a lot of love from the baby goats who were just a few days old. It was the sweetest thing ever. It was a blast and I would do this again for sure! I can't even explain how great of an experience it was. It brought so much joy to me seeing the baby goats.

Yet when you are 10 minutes away from a nationally-recognized zoo...OK! We were impressed with this zoo: the care taken to create an environment that each animal could feel good in. All I could remember were the old-style zoos with the poor animals in a concrete prison, bored and lethargic. It was so refreshing to see the opposite here. We wandered through the various lands (the zoo is well laid out) and had a marvelous time. Rhinos, lions, monkeys, flamingos, giraffes and more. All close enough to get good pictures. We appreciated that each area had a thoughtful description of the animals to learn more. Seeing the giraffes so close as they ate greenery was amazing! Even on a weekday, the zoo was bustling with families. The zoo also was starting a new endeavor, a light show beginning that night, which looks like it will be fun. My brother was set to visit the following week; we alas would be back in California, and have to content ourselves with photos.
