I have been to sea life aquarium several times over the years. I first brought my nephew 10 years ago and I've brought my son several times over the years. It's not terribly large, but it is a pretty good size. We usually spend about 45 minutes to an hour here which is kind of his attention span. They have lots of places that you can climb up and feel like you are inside the aquarium and have the fish all around you. He really likes that. They also have a place where you can pet some of the sea life. He does not like that at all. They also sometimes have opportunities to feed the sea life for an additional charge. They are currently doing an animal crossing promo and you can collect stamps as you to travel through the aquarium. At the end, you get some badges and my son really enjoyed that. The price to visit is a little steep so definitely look at getting a combo ticket. You can save money if you decide to do the aquarium as well as the wax museum in Orlando eye. We have Legoland annual passes and those include the aquarium. There's an even smaller version inside Legoland. read more

We visit zoos and aquariums often and genuinely don't mind paying admission when it supports conservation and provides animals with well-maintained, enriching habitats. That's why this experience was especially disappointing. We purchased tickets in advance and paid nearly $160 for four people, three adults and one child. For what was offered, that price is incredibly hard to justify. The aquarium is located inside a mall, and the entire experience felt dark, cramped, crowded, and worn down. If we felt confined walking through it, I couldn't help but think about the animals living there every day. There were surprisingly few exhibits, and the sea life itself was fairly limited. Nothing felt particularly unique, and the entire visit took us less than 30 minutes at a relaxed pace. To make matters worse, the building had an unpleasant odor. You expect a slight marine smell at an aquarium, but this smelled more like an old, damp mop than the ocean. For the admission price, we expected a much larger, cleaner, and more engaging experience. Instead, we left wondering where all that ticket money is actually going. Something about this place just didn't sit right with us. And honestly... something seems a little fishy here. read more

While this place is beautiful! It is a one time experience. We came to visit on a Saturday. We were instructed to go to the box center and purchase tickets. For 2 tickets it's was coming up to almost $80. I looked online quickly and found they have Florida resident discounted tickets. For 2 people it ended up being around $65. Thankfully I looked online, because for $80 it is VERY overpriced for the experience. While it is an immersive experience and they have lots of views, interactions and beautiful marine life, I found that walking thru the aquarium lasted maybe an hour and that's with kids stopping and looking. They have lots of add ons and it seems that if you don't do the add ons then you pretty much just walk around, look at all the tanks, and do a touch tank that's pretty much it. read more

Definitely on the smaller side for an aquarium, but I appreciate how it's around so many other things which is why I'm giving it a higher rating than if it was just standalone. We have free passes with our Legoland annual pass, so we checked out this place, the Orlando, Eye, and Madame Tussaud's. There was a lot of things to read, I made my older son practice reading by reading a lot of the plaques. There was also some fun interactive screens. And the highlight was a mermaid that was swimming around in the tank that came up to wave at everyone. It must be somewhat common place because we saw the mermaid a couple of times and only in one area where people rushing up to get pictures. The aquarium is broken out into sections, they had quite a few different species. My son also liked the touch tank. Overall, it took us about 45 minutes to get through so it's not a full day thing. If you read more, you could maybe make it last a couple hours, but for young children, I would say about an hour. Parking at icon park is easy. There's a free parking garage that has free parking on the upper levels and pay to park on the lower levels. When we came at about 5 PM on a Saturday there were tons of spots. I don't think this place gets that busy until nighttime. read more

This aquarium is located in the icon center. This is part of attraction there. Parking is at the back of building or the garage. Parking is free. The back entrance next to Bluemen Group directly connected. The fish collection is good. It is a lot from different ocean. They also have collections from Everglades. I like seahorses collection. One of the seahorse is called pork belly seahorse. Sounds like a dish in the restaurant. Just kidding. I also like the decorative stone in the water. Most of them are like South America relics. I also like the touch tank. I got to touch small animal. The visit may take 1.5 hours to complete. There is the Florida residence price. I recommend this visit with kid. read more

We came here for the Animal Crossing tour, and were excited to bring our daughter to see the aquarium. Children under 2 get in free, and there are Florida resident discounts available. For two adults (with the Florida resident discount) it was a little over $50 and we did not feel like it was worth the price. This aquarium is very small and gets crowded very quickly. We had a stroller (as did many other families there) and it was hard to navigate the aquarium because of how crowded it got and how narrow the path was. This aquarium is very streamlined as you maze through different viewing spaces. Many of the tanks lacked informational placards and there were very few workers around available to share more information about the animals. The few workers we did have the chance to interact with were very knowledgeable and friendly, but we definitely felt like there should have been more workers available to share about the fish. With other aquarium options within a few hours of the central Florida area, I can't say I will be returning to SeaLife Aquarium anytime soon. Due to the aquarium being overpriced, under staffed and extremely crowded, I would not recommend this aquarium. read more

This is another exhibit at icon Park that has been here since it's opening. It's part of the complex with the Eye and Madame Tussauds. It's a walk-through aquarium exhibit. There a brand that has many different locations throughout the world . I've been to the one in Australia for the sea life and wildlife exhibits! At the end, there is a nice little interactive pool where you can plunge your hand in the freezing cold water and pet starfish and some anemones! This is a lovely interactive spot to learn more about fish and sea life ! I highly recommend for children and kids at heart ! read more

We came here for the animal crossing event on a Saturday and you can just tell this aquarium wasn't ready for this event. It was insanely crowded. The line to meet the character was 3 hours!! We did not wait. Weren't even allowed to wait because the line was closing. The animal crossing event didn't have much else to it. Just a paper you got to collect stamps on. And some cut outs of characters. Focusing solely on the aquarium- it was okay. You're going to find better aquariums at Sea World of course which is down the street. But it could be fun for parents with small kids. It was just pretty tiny and it's designed as a walk through which dumps you into a gift shop. You don't get much say to which exhibit you check out first. It's just kind of like a trail of fish tanks. The staff seemed pleasant and well informed. Do not go to the animal crossing event though. Please save your money. And if you want to go to an aquarium in Orlando, just try to find a deal to get into Sea World. read more

Super cool aquarium in such a small space! There are a few tanks that are so large that they run through several sections of the aquarium, but despite it being the same tank, there's something different to look at from each angle. Super cool and such an efficient use of space! I loved the informative tablets near each tank that tell you all about what you see! At the time we went, it was themed "Animal Crossing"! There is also a touch tank near the end of the aquarium, so cool to touch starfish and anemones! Great place to take the family and young kids! Sea Life is conveniently located in a busy commercial area with plenty of shops and restaurants. Lines are long and you might have to wait about thirty minutes after you get your tickets due to Spring Break foot traffic. It looks very small from the outside, but once you're inside there's actually decent amount of sea creatures and fish for you to see. One visit is all I need and probably won't be going back again. read more

I feel scammed. At nearly $40 per person to get into this "aquarium" this was super disappointing. Not only is it inconvenient to park in the garage it is located inside of an arcade mall. The experience with 2 toddlers took about 35 min. There seemed to be a whole lot of interactive screens and not enough sea creatures. Not a big variety of sea life either, really just a bunch of fish. As a family who has been to several zoos and aquariums this seems very misleading to call it an aquarium. I usually love aquariums but I wasn't a huge fan of Sea Life. It just seemed dingy and in need of renovations, overpriced in my opinion. Purchasing tickets online for during the week or a pass on Groupon is recommended to make it worthwhile. If you have young kids I'm sure they would have a blast. There were quite a few interactive things for them to do. Pros: Staff was super helpful and the line moved along quickly. Highlight of the day was being able to touch a starfish! This was a really nice experience it showed all the different oceans and areas of the world of sea life. The real cool part was 360 degrees and seeing the sharks and creatures swimming around you. I've never been here before, but $85 for two people seems a bit steep. But in California, it is a bit pricier, so it's fine. It's a tiny and brief exhibit, but I enjoyed looking at the sea animals on display. Since I hadn't seen a sea turtle that large before, it was very exciting. read more

Always a great place to visit. It isnt very large, but there are plenty of fish and turtles to see. If you have time, i highly recommend the behind the scenes tour and the VR experience. You get to see how the inhabitants are cared for and how the meals and feeding times are done. You even get to feed a few of the fish. Also, it is located in the same building as Madame Tussaud's and the orlando eye, so there are combo packages so that you can get the most out of your day. read more

The aquarium is a bit on the smaller size, however they have very large tanks for the animals they have, and several of them are rescues that cannot be released back into the wild. I just feel it's a bit expensive for how small it is. read more

We had such an amazing time visiting this aquarium with our little one. It was a great excursion for the whole family and a fun alternative to spending the day in the heat. The overall layout was very interactive and kid friendly. The establishment was also very clean and larger than I thought it would be. Our toddler had a great time looking at the aquatic creatures and learning about them. There were fun lighting color changes and glass aquariums for him to walk through. This attraction definitely held his attention. There were also clean restrooms with changing tables which was a huge help. I love this aquarium! I bought tickets online for the discount. We spent about an hour here. The VR experience I paid extra for wasn't working when we arrived but we were able to do it before leaving. The VR headset smelled like body odor even though the employee said they disinfect them. It was shark summer when we went so they had special shark activities we liked. I enjoy the 360 tunnel and the domes you can get under for photos with the fish. read more

They had a nice variety of fish, 2 sea turtles, Axolotyls, sharks, eels, soo many Seahorses (which is so rare at aquariums as they are hard to raise and keep alive), jellyfish, and so much more ! It's definitely a touristy area but for the price it's not bad at all. There are a ton of interactive activities for children and SO many things to see. I honestly had low expectation for Sea Life Aquarium but was happy to find an enjoyable 75-90 minute experience in Icon Park. Although the WOW factor isn't as strong with only one main big tank area, you get multiple solid views of that tank as well as several smaller tanks and sections housing different sea life throughout the venue. The Potbelly seahorses were especially cool as well as the sting rays who really seemed to love showing off as people walked by. For a Florida resident, the individual event ticket was as cheap as $25 per person. I think that's a worthy entry fee for this afternoon excursion. read more

This place was great! When I entered here I did not expect to see so many marine life because the place seemed quiet small, but I was wrong. I noticed that they have interactive areas were you can see the fish closer, you can see them swimming close to you, and even an area where you can touch some of them. I honestly cannot think of anything I didn't enjoy about the Sealife aquarium. I had low expectations as it's inside of the Icon Park. While it might not be the largest aquarium out there, it absolutely packs a punch of what they have. There are several areas where you can be in an aquarium tunnel. If I'm being fair I wouldn't recommend just adults to do this but if you have young kids they will enjoy it. This aquarium may not be the largest I've visited, but they make the most of the space! There's so much to explore, with various aquatic habitats that keep things interesting. They have a touch tank and a few unique tanks where you can actually climb underneath and view the sea life from inside. If you have never been here before know that Sea Life Aquarium is located in ICON Park. You can find Free parking inside the ICON Park Parking garage on levels 4 & 5. Tickets to Sea Life Aquarium are $35, which is a bit expensive. You might be able to pick them up online a little cheaper; however, if you're going to take the time out of your day to come to ICON park you will probably stay for a while, so I recommend purchasing a combo pass or the PLAY pass, to check out some more of what ICON Park has to offer. The last time I was here was back in 2015 and unfortunately, they no longer have the octopus, but they do have plenty of other wonderful sea life to view. They have a massive Loggerhead Sea Turtle named Ted; several Unicorn fish; a puffer fish; a variety of sharks such as the Bonnethead, Zebra, Bamboo, Coral, and Epaulette; and there are several stingrays, along with a multitude of fish of different varieties, sizes, and shapes. My wife and I have been to a lot of aquariums over the years. Honestly, I can't see spending $35 here when you can get a ticket for $35.70 at the Florida Aquarium, and that place is awesome. I know were not in Tampa but I am just saying. Regardless, if you had your heart set on Sea Life Aquarium, don't let me stop you, just think about upgrading to the combo or Play pass. With that said, Sea Life is fun, and an overall great experience. We easily spend an hour in here just checking out all the cool sea life. There are several photo op areas; two or three aquatic displays where you can pop your head up from underneath and look like you are inside the display; an impressive aquatic tunnel you can walk through where you see sharks floating around, above, and below you; three large touch screen interactive learning displays where you can select a shark and rotate it around; a section where you can touch some of sea life; and If you do not know, there are restrooms towards the last display at the back of the aquarium. So if you are in town an looking for something fun to do with the whole family, Sea Life Aquarium might just be for you. read more

Sea Life is like a junior aquarium tucked away in Icon Park and because of its limited size it's actually just right for my 4 year old and the attention spans of little kids. Is it worth the price of admission? To be debated. Tons of beautiful and exotic fish and ocean life with interesting presentations. I found my son blowing past a lot of the aquariums because it started to get a bit repetitive. For me, the real highlight is the aquatic glass tunnel where sharks, stingrays and giant sea turtles swim overhead and nearly 270 degrees view of their habitat. Another fun area was the hands on petting allowed with the anemone--my 4 year actually said touching the anemone and their tentacles (?) was by far his favorite part. The entire experience took no more than 40 minutes. The gift shop was cute too but had the typical overpriced stock you'd expect at most aquariums. It was a good option for a lazy day over summer vacation but I think we got our fill for the next few years or so unless they expand. Considering it's all we have in Orlando I say go but expect it to be a quick visit. read more
