The staff refused to take it back, claiming that because it had been two weeks, I must have used it all myself. The manager was incredibly rude, accusing me of "using up" the product in that time and telling me it was my fault for not checking the bottle immediately in the store or calling the second I got home. They insisted they "always check" products before selling, which clearly isn't true if I walked out with an empty can. Instead of helping a loyal customer with a defective item, they chose to insult my integrity. I've never been treated so poorly by a company. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! I did the Essential Facial with the Nano Infusion enhancement. I am a very sporadic with the frequency of my facials, so after having a good experience with the facial I signed up for the bi-monthly membership (30 cancellation notice required). I'm already looking forward to my next facial in February. I also purchased a serum and moisturizer to try. I will update my review in a few months time, but so far I am loving it and paying just a bit more attention to my skin care routine.

A tip of $65 and above on a 50 minute facial is expected by not only the esthetician but also the front desk. You will absolutely sense the dissatisfaction in the air for anything less than that. Unfortunately, the average person cannot afford nearly $200/$250 per month for a 50 minute facial + enhancements and should not be expected to. And before you say don't get a facial if you can't afford $250 per month, please know that this business is a luxury that very few can afford in this current financial climate. It would be difficult for this business to thrive if it weren't for clients like myself. The monthly membership has increased to $125 from $114 while the wages for the estheticians have dropped so they are now heavily relying on tips and commissions. This is 100% the business's fault and it is frankly disgusting that the pressure to pay for someone's livelihood now falls not on the employer but on the client that is already paying for the service/membership. That's tipping culture in America (the country I was born and raised in before you think I'm a foreigner), unfortunately, and this business is truly taking advantage of it. Since this business is not paying these employees well, all the heat is diverted onto you, the customer, now. To expect a 20% tip on the enhancements (that I am paying for on top of the $125 membership) is wild. These enhancements are 50% off for members but still costly. It is strategically priced as we all know it doesn't make sense to have a facial without adding at least one enhancement. These enhancements are simply crammed into that 50 minute session - if an enhancement increased the session time, then it would be reasonable to tip on the additional time but that's not the case. I have always tipped well but for an esthetician to speak to me specifically with an agenda about tipping is inappropriate and unacceptable. This is a small, self-care act I do for myself once a month that has now turned into a stressful experience which is why I will no longer be a Heyday member. Note to the business - Please take care of your employees and pay them better so their needs are met and they feel valued. Note to the estheticians - Please remember that your customers are not there for free; they have already paid to be there so lay off the pressure of an unreasonable tip. Thanks!
