If it were possible to give zero stars, I absolutely would. Lured in be her "credentials and expertise", midway through the process my gut began telling me that all that glitters is not gold. Unfortunately, I had to find out the hard way. After receiving over two thousand dollars for florals for my wedding, Virginia became extremely condescending and patronizing. Still hopeful that she would deliver, my wedding planner and I decided to simply pray and move forward. On the actual day of my wedding, my amazing wedding planner informed me that although the flowers were not what we expected and were already wilting and dying upon delivery, she was taking care of it. Between my wedding planner and bridesmaids, new bouquets were made with flowers from Trader Joes for a fraction of the price. The only thing we were able to reuse from the wilted single stemmed hydrangea bridesmaid bouquets were the ribbon. My bouquet, which I paid almost $200 for on its own was full of dying and wilted flowers and thorns. I had to use scissors from my hotel to cut the thorns off because of how they were pricking my fingers. My only and biggest concern for my wedding were my flowers because of my own love for floral design, and my dream turned into a nightmare on the biggest day of my life. For any new bride, I would recommend them stay far far away from Amazing Blooms Studios unless you want your big day ruined. read more

I've been meaning to add a review for this place for awhile now... It wasn't located on Yelp initially though. Virginia, the owner, is nice... But the flowers during my wedding wasn't what I expected at all. Because though we had quite a few consultations and I even had her make sample centerpieces prior to my wedding, there is a clause in the contract that states that she can switch up the flowers on the day of the wedding if she can't buy the flowers or find similar at better pricing, etc. Well, needless to say, my flowers were different during my actual Wedding. Having planned for everything to be perfect for my wedding and having seen samples prior to my wedding (so I did have general expectations), the flowers were my biggest disappointment. The Trio Bouquet I bought as a toss bouquet that is suppose to break into three - it not only broke into more than 3 pieces but only consisted of roses and nothing like my actual bouquet. The worst part of my experience is that I had asked her not to use white color flowers during my wedding as they represent the flowers brought to funerals in my culture - and despite this, she used white flowers, just sprayed colored on them - the flowers looked pretty tacky. My guests all commented on that and though for the most part, my wedding was awesome - the flowers were definitely not amazing... So if you are a bride who has a clear idea of what you want as your flowers, don't use this florist. But if you aren't picky, Virginia/ Amazing Blooms may be the florist for you. read more

Wedding was pushed back at least 15 mins because she was not done hanging the flowers. We were supposed to have hanging greenery on a couple beams so that it looked like it was raining greenery. Instead, it looked like tiny little straggles hanging down. I would have much rather had nothing hanging than that. We also could not find the flower girl petals until the last minute. We barely got a refund enough to cover the amount of greenery that was missing from the hanging portion. Other than that, the bouquets, centerpieces, etc were nice and Virginia was somewhat apologetic. read more

My husband and I used Amazing Blooms for our wedding on 05.17.15. The centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnières, turned out beautifully. Virginia was very pleasant to work with and was very helpful. She was so accommodating to our schedules. My husband and I work in the LA area and it was hard to find the time to meet up with her since we both get off work at 5pm and it would take us 2 hrs to drive to her office. She let us meet up with her at 8pm for our mock-ups and final consultation. She listened to what we wanted, answered our questions promptly and was very professional. We can't thank you enough. She goes over all the types of flowers and what you envision for your wedding. She is very detailed and specific. We brought her pictures of what we wanted for the ceremony and centerpieces and it was exactly what we wanted. I met with Virginia once where we came up with the design for the ceremony & reception; I showed her pictures from Pinterest that I liked & she pretty much did the rest! My wife an I were disappointed with the quality of flowers that Virgina delivered on our wedding day. When we first met we were told we would get invited to one of her events to preview her work and to show us an example of what she was going to create for us. We never got a call or invite. On the day of our wedding I thought we were at the wrong location since the flowers colors did not match what we had requested. I thought we were at a Valentines party.... PINK/RED/WHITE FLOWERS...... we had requested for RED colors. Flowers were old, wilted,etc. My flower was dead. Nothing Amazing about this florist. Virginia is very nice no complaints with customer service. Cons: my wedding bouquet had wilted flowers which were very obvious in person and in pictures. My bridesmaids bouquets also had wilted flowers and weren't very full. The bouquets looked small. The handle was supposed to be blinged out but had only a black ribbon around it. My husbands flower was wilted and half dead. I had asked for all red centerpieces and was given pinks/whites with barely any red. I was very disappointed with all the flowers. Found Amazing Blooms on the internet when I wanted to send my Daughter a birthday arrangement. I could not have found a better florist to work with. Bill the owner, asked a lot of questions on what I was looking for. I don't think I 've encountered a florist previously who took so much interest in what I was ordering, or, was nicer to work with. I'am not trying to argue with you, I had just stated what had ACTUALLY happened. Virginia, the owner of Amazing Blooms, did a fabulous job at making my wedding beautiful! The day I met her at my wedding venue (Black Gold Golf Club) during a bridal expo/show when I booked with her she included a free chandelier, crystal drapes, damask runners, and more. The bouquets, flower and candle centerpieces were gorgeous. The planning went so smoothly especially since my wedding day was during Valentines Day weekend. The flowers were doubled in price because it was Valentines Day weekend, but the prices were still reasonably affordable. If anyone is looking for a florist I would recommed Virginia from Amazing Blooms. People from my wedding were complimenting her work. My husband, family, and I couldn't have been more happier with how everything turned out. Everything was so elegant. It truly was a special day to remember! read more
