When I arrived, the lobby was peaceful and smelled amazing, exactly the kind of vibe you want before a massage. I settled in and felt instantly relaxed. Bonus points: They offer childcare! There's a dedicated room with toys, and the rate is posted clearly on their website. This could be a game-changer for some parents. My therapist, Heather, was kind and communicative. I asked for deep tissue--like elbows-to-the-back deep--and she was honest that it wasn't her specialty. (To be fair, the website does say she focuses on relaxation, lymphatic, and prenatal massage. Knowing the torture I like to endure, I would not have typically selected her based on her bio). She gave it her best, was very kind, and while it wasn't quite the torture I crave, I still walked out feeling looser and more relaxed. She shared that Marissa, the owner, specializes in deep tissue and offers cupping and other advanced techniques. All the suites weather it's tanning, massages every room is clean and inviting. Josh seems to always find a knot I didn't even know was there every time. Deep tissue is a preference but they have many options to choose from. A yearly treat that I will indulge more in the year for sure.
