It's definitely a nice activity to do for the holidays, we didn't have to be in the cold which was a plus!

First area seemed to be desserts, then there was some toys, dinosaurs, dirt bikes and monster trucks, construction machinery, 12 nights of Christmas, and toys. We enjoyed the sword fighting and the other acting performances. Of course there were food and alcohol; from turkey legs, hot dogs, to ciders, and craft beer. I really enjoyed the pickle booth lol. The food and everything else were pretty affordable. I loved seeing everyone dressed up. The only downfall was that it was so hot out. I look forward to going next year!

There's plenty of activities for the 100,000 people that visits. There were plenty of food tents, a parade, fireworks, carnival rides, arts & crafts, live music, and more. There were parking ordinances throughout. I saw many lots charging a fee and free parking throughout. We were able to find free parking at a municipal parking lot, after some driving aorund. The event was packed! I had apple cider margarita at a booth with live music. Also, I had apple crisp with vanilla ice cream from a church; both items were good! My family had a fun time at this traditional event and glad to have checked it off our list.

This fair is not very big and it did not have blooming onion. It did have a very nice beer garden…read moreand the beer and wine and Ciders were 8 and $9 with a really good poor. There was cute vendors everywhere and even a farmers market. There are pig races and lots of different animals. You could feed the goats and ride on the ponies if you're a child. There was parking close to the event but when that parking was full you had to go through the parking and then to another parking lot and then either take a shuttle or walk. There was parking nearby for a fee if you didn't want to wait in the line. I got fried dough with sauce and powdered sugar and a bottle of water for $10 which I didn't think was too bad. It's a nice small fair to start off the fair season. The entry was about $13 each to get in before the fee.

There was a corn maze; $11 for ages 13+, free for 3 and under. The maze was fun but crowded at some points; they had trivia questions with the Peanuts theme. There were a couple of food trucks when we went (Soulfully Vegan and New Haven Food Truck), there was a kettle corn stand, face painting, etc. we got cider from there which was good, kettle corn was amazing, and the New Haven Pizza was bomb dot com. They had a $5 ride on a train which was very cute, especially for the kids. They had a store but we didn't go in because it was too crowded and we had a stroller. The property was gorgeous and the turn out for the festival was great. There were a ton of people and parking was ample, they had people guiding us. Overall, a fun festival to kick off the fall.

They have convenient parking close by but for those that can not find parking they also provide shuttle service to and from the fairgrounds . We took the shuttle from Eversource. Its seems like every year this fair its getting bigger and bigger. With a buzz of people and an enormous amount of food and activities to do. THE FOOD oh my, the food , so many vendor to pick from its hard to decide. We are A LOT, street corn from Mexican vendors, grinders from church tents, and of course we can't forget the expected fried dough. I also noticed the decrease of animal activity, it seems like more comercial than a fair animal experience itself. And at night its so exciting to see the rides illuminated and music playing loud for everyone to hear. A lot of happy memories.

I love coming here every year, especially on Thursdays for demo Derby…read more When I'm not at demo Derby, which takes all day, I enjoy a different day with all the different local vendors, small Mom and pop shops, all the different shows, and of course, who could forget the food?! The different livestock, and the cute little chicks being hatched are one of my favorite things The carnival area is great for kids, which I don't have so personally I don't venture to this area often as it is a little wild, especially on the weekend Thursday is the best day to go because of demo Derby however it's a few hours long and being opening day you don't get much time at the fair. I would suggest going on a Friday as well to experience the full fair.

This weekend fair is held in August, and just a few minutes from Plymouth. Follow the signs, help…read morekeep traffic down! There's a lot of parking and several different lots. The fair is about middling in size compared to other fairs in the area, but a very diverse collection of food and retail vendors. The deep fried devil dogs were chocolate, gooey, deliciousness (although seriously oversugared). There are a lot of rides for adults and kids, a wide variety of farm animals, and a good way to spend many hours.
