We love the variety of things to do and good food to try.in the afternoon got crowded but still the organization and the space made everything great and allowed people to have a great time. Until next year.

We visited the fair on a late Saturday afternoon as we hadn't been for years…read more Traffic was backed up just to park ($10). Then we waited in a line to board the shuttle bus to take us to the Fairgrounds..about a 10 or so minute ride. Bag check before entering and paying $20 admission fee. It was crowded and proceeded to get more crowded as the hours passed. Lines for almost all vendors were very long. To get into the beer tent was extremely long so we did not even bother (plus ID must be shown and we did not bring ours). We ate a few things and all was expensive. The loaded tater tots were really good, although $14. Fried dough $12 and corn dog $8. Yikes. We caught a few songs when Styx performed. We visited the animals and some other exhibits. We played a few games, but they were so costly and all gave cheap prizes. Overall we did have a good time, but leaving was a nightmare. There were long lines to get to the shuttle buses to get back to the parking area. We waited at least 1 hour. All the vendors and exhibits had already closed. Once we were back at the parking lot it took another 40 min to get out! Not sure the crowds and expense are worth it, so not sure we will come again.

That's also a teeny bit of an exaggeration because I did see some spots that were in fact open but the inside of the farm shop was so close together it felt like it was w considerable fraction along on the to becoming a mosh pit at a rave. (*awkward chuckle*.) Today I am an introvert and I left without purchasing anything. I fully intend to come back and try the cannolis and the ciderdonuts (and the corn maze) at a less-busy time. :) thank you

There was a corn maze; $11 for ages 13+, free for 3 and under. The maze was fun but crowded at some points; they had trivia questions with the Peanuts theme. There were a couple of food trucks when we went (Soulfully Vegan and New Haven Food Truck), there was a kettle corn stand, face painting, etc. we got cider from there which was good, kettle corn was amazing, and the New Haven Pizza was bomb dot com. They had a $5 ride on a train which was very cute, especially for the kids. They had a store but we didn't go in because it was too crowded and we had a stroller. The property was gorgeous and the turn out for the festival was great. There were a ton of people and parking was ample, they had people guiding us. Overall, a fun festival to kick off the fall.

They will put that $10 deposit to the art you created. There is a fair amount of parking when you arrive. There is also a bunch of other store near by the place. Walking in you are warmly greeted by the employee there. It was resin Sunday and Wendy was helping us with our art. They show us all the art pieces you can make and trust me it was a hard decision to pick one. I end up making a tray and my partner decided to go a faux stain glass. Once we picked the art piece we wanted to do. They sat us down and instructed us what to do. I painted a bit then place dry flowers on my tray. When then get to pour the resin on our art pieces. The employees were patience and encouraging with everyone. The resin does takes about 24 hours to harden. They provide to option to leave it there and pick it up next open business day. Which is great, as I was nervous put it in my car for the ride back home. I would come back to do more art. They have options to paint, a room to splat paint and more. Perfect for all ages just to have fun and make art.
