Pedicure a few weeks ago was okay, I was happy, but my mom didn't enjoy hers. It also took them about 40 minutes on mine and my mom was just waiting while I got mine done, then she got started on 30 minutes into mine. I noticed a girl getting her nails done with a male tech, and he seemed to be very meticulous. So i decided to come back for a gel mani before my bridal shower. That was a Thursday evening, and it's now Tuesday and almost every nail has chipped/torn off. When he did it I could tell he didn't care at all about the polish application. My cuticles also look like crap. The "massage" was not even close to that, more like an aggressively quick arm lotion rub. read more

Appt was for 3:00pm... I wasn't serviced until 3:15. I got the same thing I would get at any other nail salon. A full set with a coffin shape, with shellac. I was charged fifty dollars. REALLY? I have had my nails done way better the same style for 25-30$ I think it is ridiculous how much they charge. I asked the lady why so much and she said "because of the coffin shape and my nails were long. Mind you they aren't long at all. So $40 bc of length and shape and $10 for shellac. I could have went else where and got the same exact nails and a pedi for $50. I'm really upset I spent that much and could have gone elsewhere for better nails. The nails seem big and bulky to me . No water was offered and it felt rushed. I also didn't see a color I really wanted so I had to settle. So no I will not be going back. Save your money and go elsewhere. Without a doubt this is a 5 star nail salon. From beginning to end my experience was spot on. The ceiling is a warm brown. The walls are the softest green I have ever seen. The paintings on the walls were beautiful pictures of things you find in nature. The lights were soft and all of the chairs and tables looked brand new. There was light music playing overhead. It was the perfect environment to relax in. I went in for a mani pedi. I was greeted nicely, asked which services I would like and then asked to pick a shade of polish. I was taken to the section of the salon for pedicures. The water was the perfect temperature. I checked a couple of things on my phone and then sat back to relax while I was getting a pedicure. The gentleman who was giving me the pedicure was very gentle. It had been awhile since I had a pedicure so I apologized for the shape my feet were in. He massaged my legs and wrapped them in hot towels. It was delightful. He did a perfect job of painting my toenails. Next it was time for my manicure. We moved to the manicure section. I requested gel nails. The gentleman did a wonderful job of clipping and filing my nails. He made sure that they were filed they way I had asked. Again he did a perfect polish job. My hands and feet look wonderful. I feel completely relaxed. I hated to leave and walk out into the real world. read more

This has been my go-to place for just little over a year because it's never super crowded no matter time or day I go in. Im always a walk in because busy life so I like not so busy places. I'm honestly at the point where I have to pick another place- I get a decent nail job 50% of the time. It should be 100%. I understand the men (older and younger one) are still learning but you should get a VERY discounted price with them. It looks so bad every time.. every time. It's been months now with no improvement. And this last time on taking the acrylics off was soOo painful. I've never experienced that before. And there is still acrylic on my nail. Looks so bumpy & horrible. He skipped a lot of steps and left the oil on my hands. This is the reason I've decided to not come back. I'm not going to waste money on unqualified work anymore. I kept coming around because the acrylics with the girls were good (enough), the atmosphere, wait line. But it's just now worth it anymore. Amazing nails is NOT a good name for this establishment. I had the most horrific experience today that I've ever had in 10+ years of getting my nails done. I came in at about 1:00 on a Sunday. There were 2 nail techs and 3 women getting pedicures. The man that did my nails told me it would be like 15-20 min. Okay, no big deal. So almost 40 minutes later, he finally asks me if I have chosen a color for my gel manicure. I told him my choice and he went to get it. As he was coming back, a girl came in asking for a full set. He told her they were too busy and sent her on her way. He came back and sat with me and started working on my nails. He started using the nail drill on my nails, which I thought was odd for a gel manicure, but I let him continue and decided to trust that he knew what he was doing. He got out the tips and I realized that he had filed down my nails to be so thin that they were hurting. When I told him that I had not asked for a full set, he tried applying gel polish to my now paper thin nails. I cried when I realized that he had ruined my nails that I have tried so hard to get healthy after years and years of acrylics. I had him put the acrylic tips on anyway because it was too late to go back. After he finished, he rang me up. It was $40. He had charged me for the acrylics and the gel polish. I told him that he had made a mistake so I shouldn't have to pay for the service that I had received out of his own negligence. After arguing with him a bit he offered me a small discount. I wasn't happy with it so he started berating me in front of other customers and even involved a nice woman getting her toes done, and asked her to mediate the situation. It was the most unprofessional and unpleasant experience I've ever had. He kept grabbing my hands to show them to people and even followed me to my car and took pictures of me. I've never been so humiliated in my life. Buyer beware. Please don't let this happen to you too. read more

Easily the best nail experience I have. I have been there twice, gotten two gel manicures and a pedicure by the man who works there. He is so meticulous and makes sure my nails are perfect when I leave. The ambiance is very up scale but at the average cost of any other salon. The last time my nails were done here the shellac began peeling off of my nails in 2 days and they refused to fix it. The time After that I made an appointment for 6'oclock for a mani pedi. Went in for a gel manicure. They were super fast to get me in which was nice. The salon was really clean and looked very nice. They didn't have very many colors to choose from in the gel category, so I asked if they had any other since they didn't have the color I was looking for (just a basic light pink). They had just gotten new colors in that weren't out yet and let me pick from those! I was please to find something decently close! The manicure was completed finished in 20 minutes. He did not spend much time painting them or making sure they were completely painted or clean. By the time I noticed the paint on my skin it was already cured on. The "massage" was tops 20 seconds and then it was over. The gentleman didn't speak hardly any English, so I didn't attempt to tell him I wanted them painted better. Went for a pedicure. Good thing I reviewed the services on line before going. I stated I wanted a pedi. They did not ask which services I wanted. I told them which I wanted. They were confused until the owner told her the 45. Which is the cost. She skipped doing a service, so I had to ask her to do it. She then did the skipped service. The "massage" was a soft rub. Not a massage. She used a type of oily lotion as a final never wiped it so everything was super greasy. Slipping in my shoes to dust sticking to my legs. Nails were rough to the edges. read more

We went for a full set and pedicure at one in the afternoon. There were only two "technicians" working. I got set down at a manicure station while my friend got set in a pedicure chair. We went in under the impression we'd be able to spend a girls day together, but instead spent four hours here across the salon from each other. With only one licensed tech and another lady, who I guarantee was not state licensed. The pedicures were $40 for a "deluxe" and gel polish. The issue here is that our nails were not even taken care of...the lady did not trim our nails at all, just performed the foot treatment and slapped on some polish. She didn't know how to do the gel and the male tech was "teaching" her on myself and she completely botched my toe nails. He had to stop my friend's manicure to help the women fix my toes. He then went back and "finished" her full set. This full set cost her $50. 1) the set is unfinished, he did not file down the undersides of the nail 2) there is a hair under the polish 3) he began shaping her nails as almond when she requested round and then charged her an extra $5 for the shaping 4) there was no hand massage or cuticle trimming. This is one of the worst services I have ever received from a nail salon in the Springfield area. We could've gone somewhere else and paid half the price for a better job. read more

This is the worst nail experience i have ever had. Me and some girl friends made an appointment to get our nails done 2 days in advance. We show up to the salon 5 minutes early and all pick out our nail colors. There was only 2 employees working and somehow expected to do 4 girls nails in a timely fashion when they still had one customer and another on waiting. They immediately took back one of my friends to begin her full set of acrylics, and about 20 minutes later they took another back to start on her pedicure and full set as well. Leaving me and my other friend to sit in the waiting room for an hour!! Thats right SIXTY minutes before we finally stood up and left. I have never waited longer than 15 minutes for my nails to get started on and i always do walk ins, first time i make an appointment and this happens. My far the worst dip nails I have ever had. First, I had to wait at least 5 minutes for him to finish his meal he was eating in the back before he would even start on my nails and there was not a single other person there working. My college-age daughter and I went in on a Sunday afternoon for pedicures. I called ahead for an appointment but they said they took walk-ins only, so we showed up and did not have to wait long. Our experience was not great, however. The chair I was shown to had dirty cup holders on both sides. No hooks on or around the chairs to hang a purse or jacket. My technician acted like she really didn't want to be there. She left my heels rough and small pieces of skin and cuticle all around my toes. When I pointed one of the pieces of skin out (as she was preparing to polish), she snapped at me and said, "I see it!" I'm pretty sure she didn't because she left more. My daughter's technician was fine, she said, just average, and he also left skin behind. No one offered us anything to drink, and I came in wearing tennis shoes so needed the disposable flip-flop shoes, which I had to ask for because they basically just got up and walked away after the pedi was done. The polish job was bad - traces of color around my nails. Save your money and don't patronize this place, at least not on a slow Sunday. read more
