I understand dealing with large bridal parties can be daunting but talking to the parents of the groom and bride with utter disrespect and talking down to everyone like we were all children who couldn't comprehend simple task is unacceptable. We paid a lot of money and we expect to receive what was offered. At the rehearsal nothing was talked about except the walking. Never went over the vows, ring handoff, or anything else. The coordinators also did not assist during the wedding and the poor DJ had to take charge with zero direction. So although the venue was beautiful and well taken care of, the staff was not accommodating. I would recommend this establishment if the coordinators changed their ways.

Additionally, she makes you FEEL like you are the only bride she is working with, which makes you feel at peace, prioritized, and cared for throughout chaotic wedding planning! Katy doesn't miss a step during timeline creation, last minute changes, or day of the event. In fact, during the day of my wedding, I sent most of my family out of the "hiding room" and felt comfortable when she was in the room because she was alongside me during the wedding planning process and made me feel a sense of ease. THAT is the type of wedding planner you want, especially if the whole "planning process" isn't your thing (like me ;)). Lastly, Katy handled vendor communication incredibly well. From reaching out, to follow ups, to ensuring all vendors were on the same page (especially if they did not respond) which took a layer off of my responsibilities. Okay actually lastly - Katy does not see this role or you as a bride as her "job" or just another "client". When I mentioned I was "stressed", she sat with me on the phone to talk things through to see what holes she could fill so I could relax. I opted in for the Day of Coordinator because I had already selected all of my other vendors. I also paid extra to have Coastal Coordinating put out my florals that I created. Chloe was MIA minutes before the ceremony - the venue had to stick me in a random room to avoid being seen by the groom. Chloe or one of her helpers broke one of my pillars (decor) and proceeded to put it in the ceremony instead of informing me or leaving it out - it looked so awful. Half the florals I had arranged for the reception weren't put out despite paying extra for this service - my bridesmaids and I were the ones having to put them out while guests were lining up to enter the space. The owner is VERY unprofessional and never bothered trying to have a conversation with me about my experience. Instead she made up lies as an excuse for providing such poor service. I did not have a single problem with any of my other vendors. Would not recommend Coastal Coordinating.

Owner is unprofessional…read more I inquired via email about availability for a specific date and time for an evening baby shower, also pricing and to schedule a tour. The owner responded by stating the date and time were available along with the package options and pricing. Upon reading, I quickly realized this was not in my budget. I had another venue tour scheduled which WAS in my budget and responded to the owner by stating that I'd rather NOT waste her time by scheduling a tour. She INSISTED that I schedule a tour and that we could discuss a discounted price if I could provide an invoice from the other venue with what their package included. The day before the our viewing with LeVenue, I emailed the owner with the other venues invoice. No response. I sent a follow up email later that evening to see if she received it. AGAIN, no response. I show up the day of the tour to find that the tour isn't even with the owner, but an associate. When asked about the discounted rate discussed via email, she wasn't aware of it. After a phone call, she returns and states that they are NOT able to honor the discounted rate for the date and time I requested. But they could if they couldn't get another event for that date and time, 30 days before. Excuse me? It was a blatant lack of respect for our time and a slap in the face when she mentioned that I could have it for that price if they couldn't get another booking. This is NOT how you should run a business. Please look at the emails below.
