I have only dealt with them once so far, but I was absolutely thrilled. I needed a last-minute, same-day bouquet of flowers to surprise my wife on her birthday. (Had the idea several days prior, meant to call earlier, kept forgetting. Slack of me, I know). I called first thing in the morning, and the lady who answered the phone was polite and very accommodating. "Yes, of course we can put a little bouquet together and certainly we can deliver it today." A total life saver! The bouquet was beautiful, my wife was thrilled, and her co-workers were jealous (of husband and bouquet). Delivery time from phone call to drop off was only about an hour and a half, but the shop isn't far from my wife's work. It was a little pricier than I expected to spend but the price was not unreasonable considering the great service and the wonderful bouquet we got. A fantastic experience. Very snobby, condescending customer service. The finished product was acceptable; but ordering and pick up was terrible. I will never use them again. I have ordered many flowers for school dances over many years (3 grown children), so ordering a boutenniere for my youngest daughter's Homecoming dance wasn't my "first rodeo." My daughter chose one that she liked online and called in her order. The woman from Ambiance taking her order claimed that she didn't know what that arrangement was. We told her that it is on their website. The woman said, "You mean I'm going to have to go ONLINE to look it up?" while gasping and acting like we were asking her to run a marathon. The conversation only went downhill from there. We also learned that Ambiance won't deliver anything that costs under $50, even if you pay the delivery fee. The woman started cackling when we asked for delivery (knowing we'd pay a fee and we only live 1 mile from the shop) and was very nasty when she told my daughter, "We don't do that, SWEETHEART." When my husband went to pick it up, the shop was very disorganized and condescending towards him. They acted like he was intruding on their day. read more

I can not say enough good things about this florist. I made a special trip to Mandeville to shop here based on the positive google reviews for them and the horrible ones for the competitor down the road. I explained that I needed some white roses as I was in the dog house with the lady I was dating. I also had a time I needed them delivered so she would get them after work which was technically after closing time. The owner was happy to accommodate my request and delivered the flowers on her way home. Her customer service was excellent and the Flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I mean incredibly gorgeous. Melissa is the best!!...due to unforeseen circumstances, I was given the responsibility of getting a gift for my husbands assistant This responsibility was even more challenging, because I had the flu. I desperately searched for any gift basket/delivery service in the Mandeville/Covington area. I found myself limited to florist only, as I needed delivery service, AND I needed "same day" delivery service. I finally decided to face the reality that I would have to send flowers, rather than something more personal. She smelled the different lotions and candles while describing the aromas as floral, or clean and subtly. She was so detail oriented. She patiently walked me through other things in her shop that I could add to this gift basket, to ensure the basket looked full and generous. On top of all this personal attention, she was actually going to be able to make and deliver this gift basket.....BEFORE the end of the work day.
