i purchased two bouquets of flowers last year and they were outstanding. However, this year I placed the same order. While the flowers were beautiful, the way they were prepared was very disappointing. Attached photo is how they were given to me by them to give to my wife for our anniversary. They didn't even give me any of the cut flower food to place in the vase. (Like if you buy flowers at the grocery store). Just wrapped in plastic and tied with a piece of twine. An outstanding way to cheapen flowers they charged you $165 for. read more

Flowers came wilted and in less than 3 days, they are now not only wilted but all of the petals are falling off of some. Let me be specific, I got them on Monday and on Wednesday, they are dead. I called them and instead of offering to make it right, they asked me to send them all kinds of pictures and tried to make excuses. I get better flowers at the grocery store. Don't order from them-they are a ripoff! This picture is one of the flowers that I got on Monday. You can see that the stem clearly can't hold up the flower. It's about as strong as a blade of grass. Looks like a broken fishing pole! Really sad! Update to my Wednesday post: I added the other pictures today (Friday). It's a wrap-they are all dead. Florist has yet to call me. Grocery store flowers are on their 3rd week and going strong. How this company stays in business is beyond me. Buyer beware. read more

Update: The owner did take the opportunity to make it right and I appreciate her listening to me. My husband ordered me at $115 arrangement that came with one pink Lilly stem and four pink roses and the rest was greenery. The lady claimed that those 5 flowers were expensive flowers and the whole back of it was barre and all greens. Just don't order this arrangement if you expect a lot of flowers. read more

I ordered a bouquet for my 97 year old father to give my 95year mother for her birthday. I wanted to support local business because I could have bought bunches of flowers myself and put them into a vase. I was disappointed at what a 50.00 bouquet looked like. My husband picked them up for me or I would have left them and demanded a refund. I was told when I ordered them that her fresh flowers were coming in the following afternoon and that should have sent up red flags. But these flowers barely lasted two days and these photos are just two days after receiving them. Got a call from Molly to make it right so previous post should include that they do care about the flowers they send out and their customer base. I call them directly and I do not go through a third-party website to place orders. I have found that using a third-party website is very costly and ineffective when ordering flowers from anyone. Wonderful customer service. Every time I call I speak to someone very professional and pleasant on the phone. I have received follow up phone calls and emails to make sure that I am satisfied with the delivery and order which I appreciate. The arrangements were beautiful and the response I get from my family has been that they were "gorgeous flowers", very happy. My expirence with florist of Covington was poor at best. I called, told the very nice lady on the fone I wanted flowers delivered to my wife . Told her I wanted a nice mixed flower arrangement in the 75-100$ range , she said she had something that would be nice , tax and delivery it was 97$..... give her the address and the suite number and done... my wife gets home that evening and I ask her if she got anything at work And she says no.. so the flowers never got delivered to her . Come to find out they weren't delivered to the correct address or suite , they were simply droped off at the front desk of the hospital , instead of being delivered to the 3rd floor of the medical office building that is a separate building behind the hospital . So the next evening the flowers were finally located . Many broken , no card , no address label , just a very small vase with a small handfull of generic flowers , I could have got much nicer flowers at grocery store for $7.99. Me trying to do something nice for my wife turned into a 2 day epic fail . I called them, my wife called them thinking that she must not have got the correct arrangement for just under $100.00 they just appoligized said they were sorry we weren't happy and played it off like it was the front desk lady at the hospitals job to actually deliver the flowers to the 3rd floor of another building across the parking lot. Never offered us a refund or anything other than an apology. I like spending my money local ..... but never ever at florists of covington again !!! read more

I went in to the shop and showed them a picture of the corsage I wanted for my son's 1st homecoming date. The centerpiece of the corsage that I showed them was a large lilly. I asked if they had or could get lillies, and they assured me that they could. I paid $40 for a tiny corsage (can't you get a full bouquet in a keepsake vase for that amount?!)! It had no lilly, only a couple of inferior cheap filler flowers. It looked nothing like the picture I showed them. It was the worst $40 ever spent. Won't becoming back. You've been warned. read more

I am an out of state buyer and went out of my way to buy local flowers for my moms birthday. I do not want any other buyer to waste their money and make the same mistake I did. I have never been so disappointed in a service. The picture on the left is what I ordered and the picture on the right is what I got. The reasoning I received was "the vase is expensive." When ordering online I paid for the flowers and the vase and there is no reason I should not have gotten both. The website is very misleading, and I would not recommend this florist to anyone. There was no ownership for what I got, and I was told that the bouquet looks nice in the opinion of the florist. I CANNOT recommend Florist of Covington. They left flowers on my front porch in full afternoon sun. The flowers looked bad. I called to inquire. The driver apparently tried to reach me (I have an app that blocks unknown calls) then contacted the sender about whether she wanted to call me herself or leave them on the porch. She agreed to the latter but was not informed by the driver that leaving them on the front porch meant leaving them in full afternoon Louisiana sun. I also have a back porch accessible by a driveway that is fully shaded. Florist of Covington said that would be "trespassing." Guess someone should tell UPS and FedEx that. They kindly leave packages there. The person with whom I spoke was unwilling to help resolve this and determined to argue that they were not responsible. When I asked if the sender was told that leaving them on the porch meant leaving them in full sun... there was no answer...but, I was cited the law again about "trespassing." I was also told "You are not listening," when I said our conversation was feeling repetitious. I reiterated that I was looking for resolution not argument. I told her I understood her dilemma but it didn't seem right that expensive flowers did not last even a day because of being left in the sun. She laughed out loud, repeated my comments to co-workers around her (within my hearing) and group laughter ensued. For the express purpose of me hearing it. Wow. The flowers were only okay, although I did not tell them that. Just know what you are dealing with if you use this florist. read more

I have always used a local grocery store that does beautiful flowers for my kids dance flowers, but the day I called, the florist was out and I was worried that I was cutting it close with the deadline, so I decided to try this particular local florist. I just needed a corsage for Homecoming. I was a week away from the date of the dance. When I called and ordered it, she asked me what I wanted and if I had ever purchased a corsage from there before and proceeded to tell me that there's were more like "jewelry than just corsages, she then immediately asked me for my credit card number and and says ok, the total was $43.....I almost dropped the phone!!!! For a corsage!!! But I was thinking, well, she says it's like a piece of jewelry, so it will be amazing and worth the price..... nope.... not at all. I guess that's why they take payment when you order. There were literally two tiny roses and that's it, with very plain gaudy silver buckles on each side that bend to fit around the wrist. My mind was blown.... when I showed the other moms' the corsage and told them the price, they were all shocked at not only the price, but the quality. Extremely disappointing. On top of that, the ladies were rude when I picked it up. Needless to say, I will stick with a different option next time! After reading the owner's response, I want to add that I was never told of the flower they use and that it would look like it so pitiful agains everyone else's. Several other girl's used a very well known local florist (not a grocery store) and their corsages were stunning. I asked the mom's, because we hosted the before party, how much they paid (out of curiosity) and it was nowhere near what I paid for mine. I have never been so disappointed with a florist in all my life. I ordered a spray for my best friend's husband's funeral to be sent to Bagnell's Funeral Home. I paid $262.31 and it arrived wilted. You could actually smell the decay. Others in attendance also commented, unfavorably, as well. The other arrangements from other florists were fresh and beautiful.
