I've played music my whole life so my husband and I were really picky when choosing our band. After watching countless live performance videos there was no question, they were unmatched! No notes off pitch, every harmony in sync, concert level quality all night long. It was even better in person than I had envisioned. The vocals were so good, flexing between rock and roll, disco, pop, rap, and classic jazz and soul dinner music that made the reception feel luxurious and classy. What set them apart was their ability to read the room and keep the energy alive from start to finish. Ben as frontman and emcee was masterful, not a single lull all night. Once we got to dancing it felt like a concert! Every person young and old was on that dance floor all night long, including my 90-year-old grandpa! Guests were coming up to my husband and me all night asking where we found this band, including serious musicians who were completely blown away. The versatility was outstanding. We had a live guitarist for our ceremony, a jazz quartet including string bass for cocktail hour, the full nine-piece band for dinner and dancing, and then DJ Bruno for our after party. DJ Bruno was absolutely fire, too. He played all our must-plays, took requests, and kept everyone on the dance floor for round two -- it was so much fun. He is easy to talk to and very responsive via email and phone. Communication with him was clear, honest, and transparent through the whole process. He interacted directly with my wedding planner, the wedding venue coordinators, and venue technicians as well to make sure everything was in order the day of. Ray scheduled a few touchpoints with us prior to the wedding to make sure he understood what we wanted for music at our wedding. It was clear he had a process in place to make sure all of the considerations were accounted for - even things we didn't think about like how the music flows. For example, he asked us what type of music we enjoyed, what kind of vibe we wanted at our wedding, and what songs to avoid. Ray made great suggestions and recommendations based on his experiences and his understanding of what we wanted. We also had very specific songs to play throughout different points of the wedding ceremony / reception and some of them required edits / loops. The lighting was everything I could have dreamed of. I have literally never been to a wedding with a DJ as good as Ryan. Other DJs I looked at that I thought would be similar quality were asking for $1k-$2k more than Waveform. Additionally, many other DJs I met with charged a ton for different add-ons. The dance floor was packed the whole night everyone from my 5 year old ring bearer to my 70 something mother-in-law was having a great time. He also did a great job of emceeing. Ryan is professional, kind, and theatrical in a good way. He knows when to step into the light and when to step out. From the first interaction to the last dance, QP Muzik Entertainment made the entire process seamless. Their experience was recognizable from the start as they guided us through the process, answered all of our questions, and gave recommendations that made the party unforgettable. Tracy coordinated with the restaurant and let the band arrive early to set up. The stage was organized and the lights added great ambiance. We requested music one hour before the cocktail reception as we welcomed guests and took photos. For the party, we chose a list of songs for our seniors. I went with the Basic EZ DJ package which included an awesome sounding PA, Lights, a Fog Machine, and a rocking DJ for 4 hours all for $350.
