I cut out the wet, mildewy piece of drywall and then decided to call American Plaster and Drywall to fix the ceiling after reading some great reviews for them on Angie's List. Jeff Wilson, the owner came over to check out the problem area and his quote was very reasonable. I scheduled an appointment to have the repair done two weeks later. His guys came to replace the drywall and retexture and paint it to match the rest of the ceiling. They did such an amazing job that I literally can't tell where the repair was done. Our projected start date was originally June 1st, but didn't start until June 12th due to change orders at other jobs they were busy with.
