Fatigue, extreme body pains, lethargy, ennui, malaise, anxiety, forgetfulness, facial ticks, I could go on with the symptoms. At the time, I asked them point-blank, different doctors, on different occasions if this could be due to mold toxicity. Pravan told me: - It was long COVID and nothing they could do. - Make sure I am hydrating myself and taking multivitamins (wow, great advice). - That this was due to pigeons defecating on my AC compressor outside the building (which, due to the physics of how AC works, air does not flow back from the compressor outside the building into the AC unit within the building, this is literally physically impossible and one of the dumbest things I have ever heard). - That toxic mold does not exist in Puerto Rico. And, of course, after months and months of extreme suffering, issues with my business, issues with my relationships all stemming from this, low and behold, I find a doc who confirms this is due to the presence of Aspergillus and the resulting mycotoxins within my apartment, as confirmed by tests on both myself and EMRIs on my apartment. Stay the heck away from Pravan.

If you have a medical emergency in Puerto Rico and need a hospital I highly suggest San Juan for the major hospital there but I would not go to anything in fahardo or anywhere near fajarcolorado because all their emergency rooms are or a giant parking lot for people and gurneys. The nurses don't do s*** they sit around and just talk to each other about Nothing and refuse to help and will tell you consistently time and time again that your medication is coming in a few minutes and an hour and a half 22 and a half hours can go by before you get anything and it typically is in anything that you need or want.

On Thursday January 2,2025 the director from the nursing home noticed my mom was acting strangely and was in need to be taken to the emergency room. so she call an ambulance, and the area hospital that mom was taken to was Caribbean Medical Center ER. The director then notified me. I live in South Carolina and my travel to PR is an ordeal. two planes flight later I arrived to my mom's side. on Saturday January 4, 2025 straight to Caribbean ER to find my mom there in the worst condition a human being let alone and elderly person should have gone through. The look,setting of the ER was from a third world countr. I was beside myself. it was absolutely a nightmare to experience something like that. I had to ask "We are in Puerto Rico, yes" Puerto Rico part the unit stat yes. How can a hospital be run so terribly. l paid for around the clock care, I pulled ladies from my mom's nursing home to care, and accompanied mom til I arrive. The care there for my mom was so poor. staff there didn't want deal with the nursing home staff, they need an family member present. so they kept my mom three day in the ER and NO private room were available. once I arrived I had to fight for them to bring her up to a private room. I had to get boisterous for them to mover mom. in 10 minutes a private room was available. once upstairs it was much bette. But unfortunately the care of the nurses to patient, it was every disregard. if you find yourselves or a family member in this hospital make sure you have a friend or family that would stay with you the whole time watching out for you. This nurses are under paid and they don't want to be there. the doctor make their rounds and don't introduce themselves They just keep moving. it's so frustrating when you know this is not normal. I don't know how this place has been allow to run this way for so long. The only angel of God came was Dr. Santiago he is one of the general Doctor and on the fifth day he came it check in on mom. I never met him. He checked mom and said " she is doing fin, her test results are negative she can go home". so for no rhyme or reason they ke her so long. But hallelujah she was released that afternoon. Back to the nursing home were the care for my mom is excellent. unfortunately something happened that effect mom that she stop eating that night and the next morning. so of course we were worried and I prayed to God that we could NOT take her back to this terrible horrible. gave it another day and we were relief that she started eating again and back to her happy self again. what a nightmare I have been through all because of a poorly run hospital. it should be shut down. I was born here. But i don't live here. But if I did reside here with a lot of time on my hands. Oh I would've the Puerto Rico News all over this place. Check in was smooth and easy. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. The Dr. Casanovas has one of the best bedside manners I've seen in a long time! She was very easy to talk to, professional, and kind. I wish I could remember who came in before the doctor. Maybe a PA, or some kind of orthopedic specialist. He was also great! He performed the reduction to put my daughters elbow back in place. He was just as kind, attentive and friendly! Pros: *I didn't have to wait long from check-in to getting…read moreplaced in a bed. *My second doctor truly seemed to care about my well-being. *They were extremely thorough, running all necessary tests and CT scans to get to the root of my issue. *clean Cons: *The nurses had zero customer service (i really do appreciate 2 of them i had). They would pretend they didn't understand me, say they'd be back and wouldn't come back, and they (also the first dr) let me sit in pain for SIX HOURS before finally treating my pain with something more than ibuprofen. *After finally being treated for pain, I specifically asked them to put in an order for my next dose of medication in advance so I wouldn't have to suffer again, but they didn't. Instead, I had to keep BEGGING for it, and they acted as if I was bothering them--I didn't want to have to beg or bother them while working! Each time I would wait about 3hrs in pain again before getting more pain medication. ***** IMPORTANT: I'm so glad I brought my own blanket because in their ER, you only get a cot and a sheet--no blanket, no pillow--while being in close proximity to others, including people who were coughing. *My first doctor was short with me and rude. I have my reasons I believe she was like this but I won't speculate. Overall, I'm grateful for the thoroughness of my second doctor, but the lack of care from the nursing staff and the overall treatment left a lot to be desired.
