Yeah, I really like this movie theater! I think this will be my go-to spot whenever I want to catch a movie. My family and I had a great time here. There's plenty of parking, which is always a plus, and it's conveniently located near other stores and restaurants Avo Taco being one of them, which is great. I purchased our tickets and selected our seats online, so check-in was super easy. The service inside was good, and the concession area was clean, which I always appreciate. The popcorn was okay kind of cold but since it's near the front door, I wasn't too surprised. The theater itself isn't huge, but it's not small either just the right size and it's very clean inside. We went to see Stitch Head, which was a Halloween movie. I ended up falling asleep (it just wasn't for me), but my daughter really enjoyed it, and that's what mattered most. Overall, I definitely plan on coming back.

I haven't been to this theater in years. I am going to start coming here more often than the AMC in Fresh Meadows. Large parking lot right near the theater. When you walk in the concession stand is right there. The staff is very nice the theater is clean. The seats are very comfortable.

Hubby and I frequent this theater because of its convenient location. It's a no-frills spot, offering the usual snacks, drinks, and standard finger food you'd find at most concession stands. Nothing special, but it gets the job done. We recently came to see Speak No Evil, and while the theater itself isn't anything extravagant, it's reliable for a casual movie outing. If you're looking for an upscale experience, this may not be the place, but if you just want a straightforward, easy option for catching a film, it works.

My wife and I recently watched a movie at this location to watch Avatar: the way of the water and we had a very pleasant experience at this movie theater. We purchased our movie tickets online with an accompanying meal. As soon as we checked in we were asked as to what time we wanted our food delivered at our seats, eventually the food and drinks came to us at the right time. This location has recliner seats, I just noticed that this location is much cleaner than the one at Fresh Meadows. The movie theater smells better and visually they kept everything clean. One of the best theaters in Queens. It is always very convenient to book your seats online and ahead of time to find very good seats that are not too close or too far from the screen. Everything that my wife and I experienced here is very satisfactory and convenient. I highly recommend this specific location when you are up to watching in a movie theater.

Bay terrace is pretty small and in need of an upgrade. The staff is always polite if a little strict but often there is something out of order. I can't remember the last time I went and tue fryer or the popcorn maker wasn't broken. It is a better alternative to fresh meadows which is a nightmare and closer than Levittown which is my preferred theater. I would be sad to see this location go due to its convenience but I would really like to see them fix it up a bit.

Fast service. One of the nicer AMC locations in the area. Got fries and pretzels within a few minutes of ordering. The cashier was helpful and nice on a rainy Saturday morning. There's plenty of parking outside. The AMC is a bit hidden if you haven't been there before. It is part of the upper level shops. Parking on the lower levels is very hectic on weekends. I went up the parking garage and parked upstairs. The seats here were wiped between each movie and they also recline. The bathrooms were clean and had a lot of stalls. Would definitely come back to this AMC.

I bought my movie ticket on Wednesday for this morning's showing of Jumanji: The Next Level! I saw the Original one with Robin Williams but I haven't seen Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle yet! Atom Tickets was actually partnering with Chase Pay from 12/11/2019-1/1/2020 where I saved 7 bucks #score...I absolutely love saving money and I haven't paid full price for a very long time. It only takes me 10 minutes to walk from my house to this AMC located at the upper level of the Bay Terrace so I am never late to see a move lol Two seats away from where I was sitting...this guy was snoring mad loud and I actually have to stuff tissue in my right ear SMH I love some "me" time so I actually love going to the movies alone! This year, I have seen 5 movies in total and two were at AMC Fresh Meadows. Today - Jumanji: The Next Level October - The Addams Family August - Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw March - Tyler Perry's A Madea Family Funeral January - The Upside

I love to come to watch AMC movies. As an A-List member, I frequent visit here and I find that it is a conveniently located spot with nothing flashy, but a good movie-watching experience. The concession stand is semi-automated with touch screen ordering technology. This helps to speed things up, which is helpful, especially when you're running late for your movie but need a snack or drink. The staff is generally friendly and helpful too. One comment I will make is that the butter dispenser is somethings clunky. Sometimes the butter is low, so you'll press it and nothing will come out, so I doubt the staff has any sense of predictive processes to make sure they are constantly at sufficient levels. Also, sometimes, the button gets sticky, and butter will keep flowing long past after you let go, wasting butter. It also requires your hand to press the button, which during COVID times does not feel like the most sanitary experience. The bathroom situation is pretty inconvenient, especially if you are on the upper floor for a movie. There is only one male and one female bathroom in the entire theatre and it is on the very bottom floor. So if you have a movie on the top floor, you'll want to keep that in consideration. Otherwise, the theatres are fine, normal quality, and the crowds are generally respectful. Parking is plentiful, and there are tons of commercial institutions right near by for food, snacks, etc.

To have one right in our borough, in our very crowded city, is such a treat. And it was all free. The second time we went we even got free treats left on our windshield. The staff was amazing. They led us through the maze of metal barricades and cones to the viewing area, made sure we were parked appropriately on the lawn, good enough to view the screen perfectly straight on, and helped us to turn all of our lights off. When we weren't able to tune them all off while still listening to the movie audio on our radio, they came around and lent us a portable radio. That way we could turn the car completely off and listen to the movie audio from their borrowed radio. There was also a food stand, but we had dinner beforehand and brought our own snacks, so we didn't order from them. All in all, a pretty awesome experience for the whole family. Thanks to all the staff and organizations that made it possible!

Transfer to the E or F train, go the entire length of the Q46 bus, walk a mile in the cold, then see the Bruce movie in a theater in a basement of an apartment complex. It's the day after Thanksgiving, but we have to leave soon since it's only playing at 5. Sounds simple, right? The North Shore Towers Cinema is so obscure that I never went there during my Queens years. But that the glorious era of the Utopia and Bayside theaters before AMC destroyed the locals, prior to suffering its own injuries in streaming times. (No I didn't consume chocolate egg creams on Ave. U and never saw the Brooklyn Dodgers but I do miss the old bagel place on Union Tpke.) I did check the theater out once to see Richard Gere's Time Out Of Mind. The frequent chatter was above Times Square levels. Yeah, I could have asked for a refund but I was here because it wasn't playing anywhere else. This time, the noise wasn't non-zero but it was far better than before. And after a hallway here and an elevator there, you may be surprised by this giant single-screen theater. Important for a movie about Springsteen, there was very good sound quality too, (minor spoiler ahead) helping to delineate the difference between an amateurish home recording and a rousing rehearsal of Born in the USA. The staff was friendly. Full disclosure/geography note: I am a public-transit advocate but it was a bit more convenient on a winter day to take Lyft from Little Neck. Express buses run to North Shore Towers but that only helps from Midtown. I have no insight about the on-site restaurants. There's nothing else in the immediate vicinity but if you're up for 29-minute walks or Lyft there are good options on Union Tpke., Northern Blvd. and Hillside Ave.

The baseline infrastructure here is already elite--the theater layout is pristine, parking is remarkably easy when parking in the "unofficial lot"! The staff operates with a level of helpful efficiency you rarely see at a massive multiplex. What sets this place apart is how aggressively they continue to improve on the user experience. They've recently introduced a dedicated heating lamp area for their kitchen items, a brilliant shift that completely eliminates the dreaded 5-to-15-minute lobby wait for hot food. You can grab your order and head straight to the register. If you book the RPX experience, the setup is flawless. In addition to the heavy-duty attachable trays that pull directly in front of you, which is a great feature, you the get the massive, plush luxury recliners. It completely changes the game, allowing you to securely set up a full spread--which, at this location, means stepping way past standard popcorn into an actual menu of salads, premium wraps, sandwiches, and ice-cold beer. It's great way to enjoy a movie. This place was awesome from day one, and it's only getting better. The Atmosphere & Comfort (5/5): Top-tier cinema luxury. The RPX auditorium is immaculately maintained, and the integration of the personal food trays with the luxury recliners should be mandatory for all modern theaters. It was opened in November 1936. It's now one of the few remaining independent movie houses from the 30s and 40s on the main street in Long Island. It was originally a single screen theater, but in February 1980 it was turned into a three screen theater. But the art deco style façade and curved marquee remain. Clearview ran it until April 2019. A new operator opened it in April 2019. Closed for the shutdown in March 2020 reopened in May 2021. This is a very impressive Theatre from when you first walk in the front doors. You'll see a few chandeliers upon entering with an old style ticket booth to the right side but that's covered up now and you buy tickets at the concession stand. Another very nice chandelier by the concession stand Tuesday night, which is bargain night $5.00 for a ticket. The young lady and the other woman were very friendly. They offer alcoholic beverages, as well as regular soda and water. I bought my ticket for the movie. MASTERO. Got a large popcorn and a large drink. I went into one of the two theaters that are downstairs theater one. Nice comfortable leather seats 191 seats in theater one. The other theater downstairs similar number of seats. The theater upstairs is where the balcony used to be when it was a it was a single screen theater. Another nice chandelier as you are walking up the stairs to the theater. This theater is spacious also with 160 seats the largest screen out of the three theaters. But the ones downstairs are a very nice size. The projection was clear the sound very good from the speakers on the wall and behind the screen. Good attendance for a Tuesday night the popcorn was delicious. I'd highly recommend going to this theater. I think one of the nicest of the ones left on Long Island right on a main street in a downtown. Definitely more enjoyable than going to one of the big guys those multiplexes. The prices are better for the tickets and the concessions are delicious and good choices of candy soda, and some alcoholic beverages. Parking is a bit tough in Manhasset. No dedicated parking lot for the theater. I did park down a side street where they said 90 minute parking from 9 AM to 7 PM so get there early to try to get a parking spot. The only other parking spots are meters that you have to use coins for, the meter maid did tell me in the parking for Walgreens lot a little bit away from the theater that after 3 PM the guard from Walgreens leaves so you can park there without any trouble according to him. Again, definitely go to this theater. Nice neon marquee outside very clean and inside. Impressive with the Chandeliers and they even had a cool looking old-fashioned water fountain.
