Ever heard the saying you get what you pay for. This place is a prime example. It was 15 dollars for both me and my boyfriend to see the new Insidious movie. However our experience was not worth the cheap deal. The AC no longer seems to work in the building. The seats are NASTY and have deep stains and sticky spots. The actual theatre itself just seems to be getting really run down. It's really sad cause I used to love coming here as a kid. Even the parking lot is a disaster with holes and cracks. If you want tight dirty seats in a hot theatre to save a quick buck come here but I'm no longer going here. read more

There is a lot of parking that's good I came late at 830 pm got my ticket off line. No problem. Had to use the bathroom it was not clean:( So - one and the popcorn was already in bags how long who knows - 1 again. Never asked for my id cuz I am on the a list in San Diego they ask me all the time even if they seen me a million times. But oh well. The theater is not clean and no one was in this. My husband and I have been going to the theater in Londonderry which used to be two different theaters in the past. We went every weekend. We love the movies! But since AMC took over the theater it has changed but for the better. The theater is dirty including bathrooms. There is always trash all over the theater when we go in which should have been already cleaned. The worst part of the experience is the sound system! When they put on the coming attractions the sound was blasting beyond comprehension! I had to leave the theater or I was going to be sick. I complained to the people at the concession stand to no avail. They said that this is the way it comes to them and they cannot adjust the sound or it would effect the movie. I will never go back again! Don't tell me that it cannot be adjusted to a safe level for all. The decibel level was so high that it could burst eardrums!! I have had some trouble with pain in my ears ever since. AMC - I hope you are reading this because you are going to lose a long-standing customer. I am not the only one who is complying either. My grandchildren will not be going anymore either along with many others who shared this uncomfortable experience. Shame on you! Very clean theater showing first-run movies; reasonably priced as well. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is because of their online purchasing for tickets. I purchased two tickets online and paid $4 for a "service fee." I was surprised and disappointed that I could not choose our seats when buying the tickets. Even more surprising was the sign at the theater entrance that announced that all tickets bought online had to be printed at the concession stand and to not "skip the line." Any other theater accepts the qr code on the digital tickets and we would just get in line to get into the theater. Instead we had to wait while people bought tickets and/or ordered food even though we already had tickets and did not want concessions AND we didn't have seats already reserved. In short, they charge a "service fee" for buying tickets online but there is no benefit at all for buying online--better to just buy the tickets when you get to the theater. read more

Literally the worst movie theater I have ever been to. We went and saw talk to me which was listed as starting at 4pm. We got there around 3:45 and waited in line for tickets and popcorn. Staff was super friendly but there's only one soda machine that takes FOREVER to select your drink (it's one of those flavor touch screen ones). We then go to our theater and the seats are horrendous. Stains everywhere, caution tape all around, and literally you are sitting on top of one another. From 4-4:30 they proceed to play ads on ads on ads. We were confused if we were even in the right theater so one of the girls behind us decided to go talk to someone. The staff member told her that if the movie starts at 4, they play 30 minutes of ads at 4 so it really starts at 4:30..... WHAT??? Such a waste of time, most theaters play adds BEFORE the start time I was so baffled. The movie was fine but the only sound comes out from the front of the theater and none of the surround sound works. The popcorn was so stale it wasn't even funny, neither one of us could eat it. The bathrooms need major renovations, I felt like I was in a horror movie myself with how gross they were. And lastly, the parking lot feels like a roller coaster ride with the amount of pot holes you hit. So overall, if you want to sit on top of the people next to you while straining to hear 30 minutes of ads and then the movie while eating stale popcorn, then be in your own horror movie in the bathroom AND ride a roller coaster in the parking lot, this is the theater for you!!! read more

theater was not clean and there was crap all over the floor. i went to see the new inside out movie. the drinks, candy and popcorn prices were RIDICULOUS. and certainly weren't worth what they were. additionally i was babysitting and was trying to deal with everything and this guy behind us decided to complain to an attendant about us. she came over and talked to us which kind of annoyed me because the theater was empty he could've moved and i payed to see the movie and i'm babysitting and have responsibilities.. read more

We like coming here. Not a huge cinema which is nice as it is not as crowded. Decent selection of new releases- something for everyone. The seats are relativity clean and comfortable. They do have a "punch card" where if you buy so many tickets you get a free one. read more

This is absolutely the grossest amc I have ever been to. My husband and I came in to see a movie. The halls had a musty smell. When we got to the theatre, the screen was super dark the whole time and the volume was not very loud. There was a leak in the ceiling in the theatre, so some seats were cautioned off. When I went to the bathroom, I was hit again with the odor of the halls and turned back around due to the bathroom cleanliness. I will absolutely not come to this AMC again. read more

Drove up from MA border to watch frozen 2 on its opening weekend. AMC Methuen was mostly sold out and the price of $4.99 per ticket at Londonderry was just too tempting. Bought tickets online and got them printed out at the concession stand without problems. There's no assigned seating so we got there early, to my surprise, the auditorium was still pretty empty 15 mins before the scheduled start time, and only half filled at the end. It's definitely an older and smaller movie theater, but it was excellent value for the money. My daughter and I enjoyed the D-box motion seats that totally added to the movie experience. I wish they had machines that print your online tickets so people who are just getting their tickets printed wouldn't have to wait in the concession stand line. Overall we had a great experience at this location, you just can't beat D-Box seats for $4.99! We'll definitely be back. read more

Absolutely shocking. Can't say this wasn't quite the experience. If nothing else it was at least entertaining. Pulled in and immediately felt like an abandoned crime scene. Walking in there is an overwhelming sense of doom in the lobby that follows you through the dungeon esq hallways. I turned the corner into the theatre and my jaw fell to the floor. Seats were only about a foot wide, flickering lights like an old horror film, it smelled like an old patty melt, and several arm rests were missing from seats. The bathroom was its own horror entirely. Cracked and yellowed toilet seats, poo-looking crust set into the floor, and ominous lighting making it very difficult to see in the stalls (probably for the best). The ads came in a few minutes before the set show time... wow. The same Jesus praising roofing commercial, addiction/narcan infomercial, and dental office ad played THREE times. My dad and I sat and giggled reading other's yelp reviews, while no more than ten others joined us in the theatre. Super poor experience What's the foul odor in this place ??? How has no other review mentioned it ?? We saw avengers last night 6 sodas 1 popcorn $48 Parking lot packed !!! I'm very confused as to why no one has info to share as to why it smells like sewage. We were in theater 9&10 and the smell was overwhelming! Everything about this place is dirty;( I'm not a frequenter of movies but another review related it to McDonald's/chipotle versus a steak house and that's a good point of reference. Addendum: tried to call the manager today to discuss our events from last events about my concern over sewage odor and no answer and no ability to leave a message. Has anyone experience this? I am giving this theater a one star review based on my experience there. I went to watch an 8pm showing of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom with my family. There were not that many people there watching it with us and it also seems like there was only 2 people working there near the concession area. The movie was terrible (the screen was fine, the seating was comfortable; the movie was just plain terrible, from a storytelling standpoint.) Anyway, the movie has a run time of 2 hours and 8 min. By the time it's over, it's now 11pm. We come out of the theater and all the employees are gone. The door had been lock and some of the lights are off. I thought it was weird at first, seeing as there's LITERALLY no one to see us out or clean the theater after. Then I saw two girls who was watching the same movie as us standing in the ticket buying area, probably waiting for their parents to pick them up. I didn't think anything of it, so I left. But then I saw a man pull up to the front of the theater and immediately make a b-line for the door while his passenger waits in the car. I thought he was picking up the two girls, so I continue walking to my car with my family. He knocks on the door, asking them to open it. The two girl refused. So he went to the other side and try to get that one open too. He stood there for a few minutes, pulling out his phone and pretend to text or call someone. My whole family and another theater patron just stood there and watch, not really knowing what this guy is trying to do. We were all afraid to just leave these two girl by themselves while this guy is trying to get inside and/or waiting for the girls to come out. After a few more minutes, they drove off; fast. I know this is a small theater, not much foot traffic or whatever; therefore, doesn't require a lot of security and what not. But if none of us had been there, and there had only been those two girls there without any of the employees or adults in sight, who knows what could've happen. That is why I am giving this theater a one star review. read more

Great prices. Especially when going to see movies that aren't worth paying the premium theater prices. Seats are ok, a bit outdated. Screens and sound systems are acceptable. Only issue I've had so far is them not having any popcorn. Someone please explain how a movie theater has no popcorn... Tough when the little ones are let down. I will not be back to this theatre. My husband I and I saw a movie here last week. There was no one working the ticket booth. The only option to buy tickets was at the snack bar. The line moved incredibly slow. There was also no benefit to buying the tickets on fandango, as you still have to get them printed at the concession stand. I want this theater to succeed; it has been in this location for decades and I have seen many movies here. However, last night's experience of my buying tickets on line ahead of time and seeing the sign that I had to wait in line to pick up the tickets was disheartening - especially since I had paid a hefty service fee. We, and dozens of others, waited in the long, long line until after most of the movies start times. After about 45 minutes, we walked into a theater and watched a movie - breaking the rule of picking up the printed ticket. The theater was not full. I am sure most of those in line did not get in. Such a shame - one employee running both the ticket counter and the concession stand. Someone please take over management of this theater! The theater was freezing, there was a loud buzzing noise during quiet scenes, the coloration of the movie was so dim and hard to see especially during dark scenes, and the movie glitched and buffered a lot in the middle of the movie for longer than 5 minutes. OK, the theater does have issues, but I think it needs a little evening out on this side rating wise. One important note is that this wasn't always an AMC classic and it has been improved a bit since they took over, even if the user experience isn't reflective of it. As a point of reference, I probably go to the movies on an average of once a week (50-60 movies per year) and frequent a lot of different theaters. It's not the best theater in the area but for what it represents, which is a value new movie chain, it does a lot of things well. Cost: Very hard to beat. The tickets range, for non-Dbox seats, from $5 to $7 (child; adult) per standard 2D showing, with a reasonable upcharge for 3D. This is a notable discount off of Regals or Cinemagics in the area and remains competitive on discount nights. They do honor A-List for those who have it and Stubs discounts & perks work as well. Until Regal or Cinemagic bring out an A-List competitor, this is the primary option for movie subscription holders unless you're still with Moviepass. Availability: I've never had an issue with a full theater, and this includes seeing major releases on opening weekend. I would presume a huge release may have issues but unlike many other theaters sell outs are not an issue Staffing: OK, Kevin's review from July brings up a great point. They run barebones staffing. This causes extraordinary ticket waits when it is anywhere near busy and larger security situations as well. I'd really like for them to put an additional person or two on staffing and maybe have a straggling staff member under the last movie is out. I get why they wouldn't do this but it'd be a real improvement. Food/Amenities: To be honest I never really get concessions here, but it's standard movie theater fare. If you're looking for a real meal with it, go to Chunky's or elsewhere. Bathrooms are fine. For frequent movie-goers (or families) who get popcorn frequently, the year-long popcorn bucket will make its money back quickly. Seating & Theater Quality: It's a bit..well...classic. No assigned seating outside of D-Box seating and they're not recliners. Obviously it's your call to how important that is and with the ticket prices this low it's pretty expected in my opinion. I did not find the screens or sound to be dramatically better or worse than local competition (and a step above Chunky's). Overall, you get what you pay for. The barebones crew and somewhat frustrating experience surrounding that do bring this down to a four, but you're not getting a less expensive movie theater experience anywhere else in southern NH and they carry a fairly strong selection throughout the year. I'd advise to read the other reviews too and give yourself some extra time on both ends to make sure you can get through the ticketing and preview process. The rating would be a star (or even two) lower if they charged the $11-14 a ticket other chains charge, but they don't, and that matters. You don't go to Chipotle for fine dining after all. read more

Firstly the entrance and ticket booth area was very small , and I went on the opening night of avengers endgame so I was expecting this to be busy. I thought there should have been more booths and a bigger area. Then when you enter the theatre finally you go into ur seat which is small and the back does not go back the slightest so u cannot slouch. Don't listen to those one star reviewers; one just had a bad experience with something that involved employees not being there at 11 and a guy acting suspicious around two girls, nothing else besides that really. The story is horrifying but you could chalk it up to being really late. Affordable ticket prices, free refills on large popcorn (for stub members) and close to home for me. Only downside is there's no reckoning seats, but at least I don't have to get tickets ahead of time in case I can't make a specific showtime. $5 Tuesday's with a membership are a big benefit of going to AMC in Londonderry. However, the theatre is in need of a major facelift. The ticket ordering process happened in a window that leads lines virtually out to the parking lot Which gets messy. We saw Jurassic Park Fallen Kingdom and sat through 40 MINUTES of ads before the movie started. No, I didn't say 15 minutes or 25 minutes - FORTY MINUTES of ads - and not all movie previews - some were local television ads - just horrible. We probably go out to the movies 2 or 3 time a year and I could swear the last time we went it was never like that. We're in our late 30s working professionals with a young family and our time is too valuable to be insulted like that. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! everything here costs way to much. a regular popcorn was $9 and a no of candy you can get at the dollar store was over $4 and when we got soda they only had the biggest size and they charged us almost $10!!! the screens are so small you have to sit close. Also the ground was so sticky your shoes got stuck. And to top it off half the seats were covered in caution tape so you can't sit in the center of the theater! read more
