Theater was fine but I don't really like the reclining chairs -- the seats are kind of hot and after you recline back your head is back to far, I kept having to put my arm behind my head or just sit up. Plus, I was sitting by myself (my son and his friend wanted nothing to do with me, LOL) and when I entered the almost empty theater someone was sitting right next to the chair I reserved -- awkward -- since the chairs seemed to be in pairs, it just seemed really close and weird to be practically laying down next to a stranger. Plus I sat on the top right isle and the lights from the stairs were very annoying. I wish I would have noticed the bar before I got a giant soda -- I could have used one (plus was seeing a horror movie my son forced me to take him to). My son and his friends got a pizza and the hot dog and said they were terrible and mostly inedible. Half way through the movie I had to go the restroom and they were very dirty with paper everywhere -- gross. When I returned to the movie I moved to a different seat so I could be more comfortable. If I could give zero stars I would. This theatre was filthy. We came for an early morning show at 9:30. And the place was already so dirty. No one is cleaning the food and drink area. Drinks spilt on the floor were there when we arrived and were still there when we went through the food line. Huge safety issue. People are messy here which is not ok. But staff are not cleaning up. The cashier that took our order obviously hates his job and was rude. We were grossed out and will not be back to an AMC theatre. This is not the first time we have been to an AMC theater and it was just dirty. How does a manger or staff look around and be okay with the mess. read more

The premiere side actually had the line but they went first since they were premiere while us regular folks waited for our turn. Purchasing went pretty fast and we were off to see our movie. Movie theater was clean and the seats worked no patch work like some other AMC's in the valley have. Attendants keep the theaters clean same with walk ways. Restrooms didn't smell good and needed to cleaned. Same issue with this area is the homeless. I watched a worker have a guy leave who was just sitting there "taking up space" when my wife and I got into the theater. We come out of our movie to the same gentleman sitting in the same place with all his stuff and you could smell him he wasn't there to watch movies. read more

IMAX theater disgustingly dirty, to the extent you wonder how long it's been since it was actually cleaned. Trash and spilled soda and popcorn under, between, and behind seats. Had to physically get up and ask staff to turn off the lights AFTER the movie had started. Speaking of, 30 minutes of ads after the movie start time is ridiculous. Came here because this specific AMC had a discount for 100 Nights of Hero, the movie I've been wanting to see. Not only this, but I was able to get a student discount on their self-checkout kiosks. I usually attend a Harkins and because of this I was very surprised at how nice the AMC was. Lobby was huge, had a lot of cardboard photo ops and even had a cocktail bar. The specific theatre we were in had reclining seats, perfect lighting and sound that isn't too loud. The most unkept of all AMC's. The bathrooms are always dirty while employees sit around and text on their phones. We waited in the premier line only to have to wait in another line to actually get the popcorn we paid for. On numerous times they forget to turn off the lights when the movie starts. We had a slight issue. We ordered for pickup at the concession stand but we didn't notice it was at a different AMC. The manager was super helpful & friendly, made our order without no issues. The popcorn was great, especially the caramel popcorn. The staff overall are friendly. I wish the place was more cleaner like the other AMC's around the valley. My son's hat fell behind our chairs, that's when I noticed they didn't clean the back of the chairs after each showing. We wiped down our own seats since they were sticky, luckily I had Lysol wipes in my diaper bag. read more

This theater has really been given up on it seems. The big screen (non Imax one), has a hole in it. We went to watch The Odyssey opening night and everyone was sweating because the Air conditioner A/C was obviously not working properly. The person next to me said it's been an issue for this theater. Why he returned, idk. This was the second time I've been to a movie here where audience members have to go tell staff to turn off the house lights after the movie has started. The line management at concessions is disorganized and chaos. These employees apparently don't care or are not trained properly. The bathrooms are seriously dirty. Paper towels overflowing, stall doors missing or broken. It's just plain sad this place has been allowed to go this downhill. I guess it's just part of the corporate playbook where they're just trying to drain every last dollar out of this place before people completely abandon it out of neglect. Very sad AMC, very sad. Stay far away from this disorganized and deceptive organization. They charge a 20% "convenience fee" for the privilege of purchasing online, only never to actually send the tickets. They offer no customer support whatsoever, I had to do a chargeback through my bank to rectify the situation. I tried to buy tickets through the AMC app for this location, and the whole experience was a disaster. The app charged my card, threw an error, and never delivered the tickets. When I tried to request a refund, the form froze. The customer service number was just a recording that sent me back to the same broken form. So instead of going to the movie I planned, I got stuck filing a credit card dispute because AMC gave me no way to fix their mistake. This location may be fine, but the overall system they rely on is a mess. If the company can't even process a basic ticket purchase correctly, I'm not risking my time or money here again. read more

They REALLY need to fix the AC in this place. The Dolby theater was 85+ degrees today, and the heat was actually unbearable so we just had to leave after sweating for 30 minutes. AMC online support has also been no help in getting a refund. Apparently this AMC annually turns into a sauna and the company is doing nothing about it. This place is so run down it's wild. Also sad because it use to be a fantastic place to see movies at. There wasn't anyone who shut our theatre door when the movie started. Also we had to ask for someone to shut the house lights off because they were still on high when the movie started. My experience at AMC was so bad, we already bought the tickets and when we went there on the door it said there was no carbonated drinks or icees. Then, when we actually went in there we found out there's only sugar free and no ice!!!!! Never once was that on the website before. It's so hot in there every time. This theater is fine, as long as you don't go for IMAX. We were extremely disappointed by the IMAX theater when we saw Deadpool. Dirty floor, old chairs falling apart, and the sound did not meet our previous IMAX experience expectations. We've seen many movies in IMAX before, and this did not seem to be an IMAX version. I have seen a couple movies here. What I love the most is the reclining chairs and that most of them are placed in such a way that the person behind you can't kick your chair. You order your tickets as well as where you will sit and tickets are generally $13-$14 for an adult. The places are clean and the service is good enough. Once again, avoid buying food there as they are overpriced for their average quality. We tried donut holes ($8.99) and they apparently made it fresh as it took awhile to wait for it, but the taste was just plain average. I am a person who gets cold easily so I had to bring a sweater and long pants because the default AC temp inside the theater was a little too cold for me. read more

When we found our theatre and our seats it looked like it hadn't even been cleaned. There was trash in the cupholders and on the floor. this is usually our go to theater. It's right by our house. We always go here. However, coming here last hoping to get some Freakier Friday merch they were completely out. Not to mention that when we get there after we had already purchased tickets we come to find out that the AC is only working at 50% capacity. The chairs were absolutely horrible. first off, we spent a lot of money on tickets for the new avatar movie, when we showed up their c02 tank was empty so they had NO sodas, they either had water or lemonade but in order to get water you had to either pay for a water bottle which was $7 or get a small water cup that they provide which mind you was smaller than a sippy cup. We went to the movies on December 26th and couldn't have been more disappointed. As we walked up to the theater we couldn't help but notice how dirty the outside are was. This continued when we got inside the theater. The carpet was stained and littered with food everywhere. The soda fountains were down, so we weren't able to get drinks, the bathrooms were extremely dirty with trash all over the floor and had no toilet tissue. What a sad way to celebrate AMC's century of movies. During this time we have been supporting our local theaters by renting out screenings. This time was Elf. Location is great, plenty of close by parking. Starbucks and food places on all budgets. This location has 17 screens, red electric recliners, full bar and coke freestyle machines. I can say that all staff keep masks on, spend their time cleaning, wipes are provided throughout the theater and at this sad time there is hardly a crowd. read more

Nice theatre to go to, real cozy and welcoming. I wouldn't go here unless if it has a movie that isn't showing at a certain time somewhere else, but it is really a nice theatre. The only issue is, there are better options for movies nearby like Harkins 101 and even Amc Desert Ridge. It is overpriced with concessions but that is a problem I have with Amc as a whole. In a word, underwhelming! Harkins has always offered me the option to check in my motorcycle helmet with guest services. Fortunately the seats next to my wife and myself were open so we weren't forced to wear our riding jackets and juggle the our helmets on our laps during the movie. STRIKE 2, We PREORDERED our refreshments and the app said they would be available at the movie's listed start time, ( it was NOT ready at the promised time, the lone girl working the refreshment stand had to fulfill it upon our request. ( kudos to her!!!! THANK YOU!) STRIKE 3! WE had to sit through 35 minutes of advertisements and previews, I enjoy previews of upcoming movies but insurance commercials!?! No thanks! and not 1 but 2 commercials for AMC theaters? We get it...you paid a lot of mone to get Nicole Kidman to romanticize the moviegoers experience and say flattering things about AMC. Walk up outside of the building wash in good shape no trash windows clean. Inside guest services area was clean where you first step inside. Now at the counter to purchase drinks and food not so great popcorn EVERYWHERE and on EVERYTHING! *the kid that was sweeping didn't care he had a the broom and bust pan walking around* . I had ordered food it busy so my wife and I went got a drink at the bar came the Bar tender was awesome and friendly. When it came time to pick up our food I stood there way past my movie start time it started at 740 at 8 I was still standing there as the employees watch me stand there I saw my food. They just side eye me I even went to guest services now he was busy but I guess could not tell me one second.so I walked back waited and finally after ordering my food at 7:16 I think at 8 I get my food......I know this wasn't a staffing issue as they had a full team. this was a customer service and Operations issue I don't know what uniforms the manager wears but I'm assuming the one with black polo. She wasn't leading the team was just a free for all no knew what to do. So I payed $45.12 for tickets fine I'm paying for the AMC experience so I didn't mind now my problem is paid $30.41 for food that was expensive and was just like microwaving a frys frozen meal was awful how do you mess up sliders? And pretzel bites? How.....Now at the bar i paid 30 something and they was well worth the money was great flavors was pretty epic there I would have got two more drinks if I didn't go waste money on bad food. I got one more thing to add why was there a homeless man sleeping in a chair. He had his stuff everywhere on the ground was kinda strange but it make a bad experience wores. I stopped in for a movie last night with a friend. I am use to going to Harkins theaters so I was blown away once I walked in as to how nice and clean this theater is. I was a little worried when my friend suggested it when I saw how small the theater appeared, but it was actually really nice and the seats were so much more comfortable than other theaters. The drink machines were really cool also, allowing you to flavor your drink however you want. I also saw they offer reward programs and specials. I can see this AMC theater becoming our new go to theater. I can't wait to come back on a date night (did I mention they have a full bar inside) or for a family movie. read more
