WINE & FOOD: My wife tried three different tasting flights, the Diamond (white wines), the Ruby (red wines), and the Amber (dessert wines). My mother-in-law had a glass of the Moscato D'Asti from Piedmonte, Italy ($13), and I had a non-alcoholic Copenhagen Sparkling Tea ($14) and a Diet Coke ($4). We also tried their Spinach & Artichoke Dip ($15) and the Italian Meatballs ($19) and finished it off with the Lemon Berry Mascarpone Cake ($13). Everything was delicious and all selections were perfect for the wine flights we paired them with. Granted, I don't eat a lot of pasta, and even fewer cream sauces, but it sounded soooo good and exceeded expectations! He enjoyed the crispness of the hand-stretched crust and quality toppings. Cody was our server and was simultaneously handling all the drink orders with occasional help. He was a good server for someone pulling double duty. What made the day super sucky (until dinner) is that my guy's father had passed away in the hospital after a recent cancer diagnosis. Butler's has a small menu but the grilled cheese is super yummy. I see they have just added hummus to the menu so definitely need to check that out! You can also bring in outside food. I joined the wine club and every month they have a curated wine tasting and then members get the selected bottles to bring home. The have a little charcurterie table set up too.
