Stopped into The Stillery around 1 PM on a Sunday and had a really good experience. They had a guy playing live music and he played some good songs, including Brown Eyed Girl! The staff was also really thoughtful about seating us farther from the music since I was with my deaf friend and we wanted to be able to communicate comfortably. The loaded fries were SO good and absolutely worth the wait. We also got the Tomato + Pesto pizza, which was delicious with a perfectly crispy crust. The Blueberry Smash was a little lackluster. It tasted more syrupy and didn't have mint or lime, which I feel like really makes the drink. I've had it at the Goodyear location and liked it better there. Bathrooms were clean, service was friendly, and despite a little wait, the food delivered! Definitely want to come back and try brunch. read more

Once in a while, my husband and I come to this place to eat - usually on Wednesdays when they have (now I know "had") their 1/2 off pizzas between 2 and 6pm. We decided at 5:15 tonight to rush down and I order the pizzas and other stuff while my husband made his way there from 20 miles away. Before I was seated, I confirmed with the hostess that they will had the 1/2 off pizzas before 6pm, and the young lady said yes. so I sat, and ordered two pizzas, a side salad and my ice tea. The pizzas came out after about 12 minutes and soon after, my husband finally got there. We enjoyed about 1/3 of what we ordered, knowing that we have enough for the next two meals. We only like certain pizzas for left overs and theirs is one of them. And then when it came time to pay, we reminded the server who did an excellent job paying attention to us throughout the meal that the pizzas are supposed to be 1/2 off, right? and he said NO. firmly. also explained that they hadn't had that deal for more than two months. To this, I said - I confirmed this before I sat down. If I knew, then I woulnt have ordered two pizzas. Then the server said that the hostess doesn't know anything about the menu. huh? seriously? This was definitely his defensive response and with a bit of attitude. I did not appreciate this at all. We asked for the manager to come out, and she did within a couple of minutes. She explained, also, with a bit of attitude - a bit condescending - that they haven't had this deal for more than 6 months, and that she will give us the 1/2 off today, but that we should not expect this the next time. Again, huh? Excuse me? seriously, they must get a lot of customers expecting free food or something. I am not one of them. How about we don't come eat there at all....? So, would I go back? maybe if my family or friends insist. But not for a while. Left me with a bad taste. I dine out at least 2x a week. There are plenty of other good places to eat. The large chain that this seems to be, my one negative review won't hurt them, I imagine. In the end, we did get the 1/2 off, but I always tip minimum of 20% based on the full price before the discount. The server's attitude softened by the time he picked up the payment. He actually apologized, then thanked us. Unfortunately, this apology and appreciation came way too late to erase the bad experience. read more

We really enjoy the Stillery for its menu. They have a ton of options ranging from burgers to pizza to all types of bar food. This location in Chandler is huge with both inside and outside seating for a very comfortable experience. They also feature live music with local And some traveling artists. You won't find anyone famous here but solid musicians none the less. The only knock is we have found the service to be consistently slow. Just a little off as if the servers have too Many tables. We do still recommend though - an all around solid spot. read more

Tried a few items here during the Patriots playoff game. The fried pickles were not that impressive with very thin breading and what seemed like dollar store Dill pickles. The BBQ chicken pizza was not made by a real chef. There is a woman wearing street clothes making ths pizzas and it shows. She doused the bbq chicken pizza with a whole bottle of sauce and forgot to put bacon on the pie. I recently visited with a group of friends and unfortunately the experience was a major letdown. Honestly, the highlight of my visit was the large, beautiful mirror in the women's restroom. To give credit where it's due, the ambience of the restaurant was great. The live music was enjoyable and the dancing created a fun atmosphere. The women's restroom was also impressive -- clean, well stocked, and the mirror with the neon sign made for a great photo moment. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the setting. Our waitress appeared overwhelmed and, at times, came across as outright rude. I understand the pressures of working in a busy restaurant, but hospitality is still the foundation of the service industry. I actually found myself going out of my way to "kill her with kindness" just to avoid receiving the same snarky tone she used with some of my friends. It worked -- she was civil with me -- but it shouldn't take that level of effort from guests. The food was where things really fell apart. The buffet setup was poorly executed. The foil buffet pans repeatedly slipped into the chafing water, which ended up soaking the food. Any experienced food service professional knows the proper way to handle this: bring the replacement pan first and swap them out simultaneously. Instead, the staff removed the empty pans and walked back to the kitchen, leaving empty slots in the buffet while guests waited. As a result, several dishes were compromised. The mac and cheese was completely runny, clearly diluted from water getting into the pan. This happened to multiple items. The fried pickles were also a miss -- not crispy, extremely salty and sour, and tasted like low-quality hamburger dill pickle chips that had been breaded and fried. No one at our table enjoyed them and several people commented that they were far too tangy. There also seemed to be serious communication issues between the kitchen and the floor staff. Buffet items were frequently empty and slow to be replaced. The "salad," if you could call it that, was essentially a bowl of lettuce with no tomatoes, cucumbers, or vegetables -- just plain greens. Toward the end of service, the restaurant even ran out of dinner plates, leaving remaining guests to use small salad plates. The only items I somewhat enjoyed were the margarita pizza flatbread and the bacon jalapeño wontons, which were decent but nothing memorable. Beyond that, my meal consisted mostly of a bowl of very uninspired lettuce. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, it genuinely pains me to leave such a critical review. I don't write this out of spite, but out of hope that management sees it as an opportunity to evaluate what's happening on the floor and in the kitchen. There is clearly potential here given the atmosphere and entertainment. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't see myself returning anytime soon. read more

Would give this place 0 stars if it wasn't for our amazing waiter/server. The first hour of our time here was amazing. Great music, vibes, service and solid drinks. This was until the clock struck 10 and the bar's security sent their youngest, barely legal, and proud first mustache grower around to check/verify IDs. Spoiler alert, He has no idea what he's doing. Beware of this place as their security guards have no idea how to Identify real IDs from fake ones, approach you with zero words but only hand gestures, snatch your REAL license, ask about 5-6 other people (staff and patrons) for their opinions on the validity of said ID and attempt to kick you out and hold it hostage until you threaten to call the police because...they are now committing theft of a real ID. In addition to all of that, The head of security eventually arrived to return my ID but avoided accepting responsibility and providing no apologies. In fact they implied that it was somehow our fault that his employee was unable to do the only literal thing he's being paid to do. Such a bummer as our group was having quite a nice time just sitting, eating and enjoying our drinks and the live music. Will not be returning :) read more

We came in for Sunday Brunch right when it opened. I quickly made changes and asked to be at two tables instead of one and requested a high chair. They accommodated every request I had. The music and the Nashville vibe was as amazing as well. My children weren't exactly being the best and were sitting at a separate table. I asked the server, Tori, to let me know if they ordered anything that wasn't healthy, which she did. This was above and beyond what a typical server would do. The brunch was very good and will be my preferred Sunday brunch place instead of the traditional brunch locations. The Bloody Mary's were great and the coffee was also good. All else being equal, even if the food and ambiance was ok, this would be 5 starts just because of the service we got from Tori. read more

Came here on a whim Sunday night to watch a football game. I'm not sure why this place only has three stars. In my opinion this is a solid bar. There was some country dancing going on with an excellent live band. It was just a fun environment to be in and people watch. Got the Sonoran burger, jalapeno rangoons, and Nashville hot wings. Holy cow, the burger was delicious and loved the classic crinkle cut fries. The Nashville hot wings were an amazing flavor, very unique and I'm already craving more. The jalapeno rations were unique also, loved the southwest take on it. Overall solid place and should be in your rotation of bars to visit. read more

This is the worst place to go eat or drink at. It's filled with underage kids who the security lets in willingly. We waited for over an hour for 3 of us to be seated just to see a table open up and the staff let a group of 6 girls sit at a 4 person table who walked in after us sit at that table. I gave a 1 star review on the basis that everyone comes to a bar to buy a drink. It took 10 minutes to get one each time. They serve too slow. If we say "they don't" then hire more bartenders, there is clearly enough money being made with 100 people in the bar. You lose more money by not hiring 1 more bartender. read more

We went here for dinner and tried several appetizers (fried pickles, jalapeño rangoons, and calamari) all were very flavorful and delicious. I personally had the catfish and chips, which is a large serving of cornmeal batter catfish and fries with two dipping sauces witch the sauces were lacking flavor, For the drink I had the Kentucky mule, good balance of alcohol and not to sweet. Ever since it opened we have been fans! By far the best catfish in the valley! They also have a nice selection of local beers on tap. The ambiance is one of a local honkey tonk bar. The service is sometimes spotty during high times but if you go on off hours (not happy hour) we have had decent service overall. The sweet potato fries are also worth trying! Not worth the money. Food was pricey and average at best. The waiter we had said the Po Boy was best he ever had and it was served on a 50 cent cheap hot dog bun with just onions and some shrimp that was average. The icing on the cake was this ridiculous 3% surcharge for using a credit card. Restaurant reviews must severely punish these cheap restaurants charging these additional fees. If you are going to charge your customers these junk fees then lower your prices. read more

3/8/25: Short version - excellent food, friendly staff, open interior, live music, a large American flag over the door. Parking was a bit tight, but considering The Stillery is part of a shopping mall, it could have been worse. The only reason the fifth star is missing is because after a table near us was bussed, I noticed they failed to actually clean up around / under the table. Long version - arrived around 1:30 or so and the place was already pretty hopping, and there were a lot of small children. Again, it's part of a large shopping mecca so keep that in mind. Regardless, we found a parking spot close to the front door & were seated quickly, near the bar. I haven't seen that many liquor bottles in one place for a long time. Cocktails: dreamsicle & southern peach, $13 each, came in small mason jars. Dangerous because they were so freaking good. The alcohol was not overpowering but it was there, that 'shine is dangerous. :-) We drove from south Phoenix so there was no way we would over-consume and drive tipsy but damn, it would have been so easy to do. Appetizers: baked cheese and jalapeno-bacon rangoons. Jeezy Pete, two more winners. The baked cheese came with pesto-covered bread; there was a lot of it - it could have been a meal in itself. The rangoon was such a treat; not overly spicy despite the jalepeno. Well-balanced flavor. Tasty as sh*t. I could have done without the bed of lettuce, but would definitely order both dishes again. Meals: sticky sweet pizza and steak fingers. Honey on a pizza? Yes, please. The crust was puffy and light, and though it looks thick, it was all puff. Excellent flavor. The steak fingers had crinkle fries & gravy, which my sister enjoyed. I took a small bit and agree, but my pizza was better. Would we return? Most definitely! Shoutout to Skylar! He was amazing. He was friendly, attentive, always there when we needed him. He is a professional and I greatly appreciate his service as it made my day. The vibe is as if you are transported to Nashville. The rustic wood and large neon sign and the stage where they had live music was great! For the appetizer I ordered the fried pickles.... THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!! The batter is like tempura and the pickles still had a small crunch to them but thin enough to be chips. Honestly I will be craving these for now on! Then for our entrees, my friend got the burgers and they were double stacked patties. One got fries which were shoes strong and the other got a salad. I personally got the Cobb salad and it's a half a head of iceberg lettuce and the dressing is placed around the head of lettuce. The blues cheese, bacon, and other toppings were great! I wish I could have added my dressing as towards the end it did make the lettuce soggy. I totally want to go back and try out more of their menu and enjoy the music! read more

We were in town and staying in a nearby hotel, passing by frequently which intrigued my husband every time we passed. We went on a recent Friday night and met family here for dinner (7 of us). The live music was great and our server was really nice; however I think our server had way too large of an area as she was not attentive at all (we asked for drink refills but never got them and we were all finished with our meals for at least 20 minutes before she finally reappeared to a table near us when we flagged her down to ask for our check). We went to The Stillery for brunch with out of town guests on a Sunday morning. We ate on the patio and it was just lovely. Live music inside the restaurant was able to be heard outside. Service goes a long way with me, and we had outstanding service. Our server was incredible and very responsive. The restaurant offered both regular menu items and a special brunch menu. We all ordered different items, but I ordered the Stillery Benny (pictured). It was admittedly not my favorite Benedict I've ever ordered, BUT it was good. The prosciutto was a little bit more crunchy than I was expecting and a little more salty than I think the dish required. The acid from the tomatoes complimented their exceptionally tasty hollandaise. The potatoes were also not what I was expecting and I didn't love them (my toddler did though). We ordered a variety of different cocktails and everyone was complimentary about their choices. The fan favorite was the blackberry lime mason jar cocktail. Anything our food was lacking (and it wasn't lacking much) was made up for by the incredible service. Would definitely come again! read more

Soooo... we went for their 50% off "pies" and ordered the steak and shroom and a hot chicken salad with their buffalo sauce on the side. Tasted great except the pie was pretty salty in some bites. Figured it was the Gorgonzola or blue cheese? On the way home I started to get indigestion and even with medicine couldn't get rid of the high bellyache till the next morning. I rarely have this problem. My husband, who often has stomach issues had no problem at all and he ate more of the salad and pie than I did! Service was great.
