This is also one of my favorite AMC's to go to! The main draw of this theater is that they have free parking and receive most of AMC's showings. It's a pretty large AMC. Their food selection is amazing! They have a pretty upscale menu and they have the cool Coke machines that have different flavors of one drink. I love the curly fries, nachos, and vanilla Sprite! My boyfriend gets the popcorn which is vegan friendly I thought it was also pretty cool that they have a bit of a merch stand. Right now, it was decked out for Beetlejuice. The theaters themselves are pretty large and they do have the fancy recliner seats! Sound and picture is always on point. The staff is always super nice and professional. Have not been to this theater since high school. Beautiful experience; the servers were nice, the theater was clean and sanitized. Popcorn was fresh, drinks were good and the pizza was delicious. We were even given plastic wrapped wipes to sanitize our seats if we would like. There were six people in the theater. LOVED it. AMC Ford City is our go-to for seeing new releases. It's pretty clean, has free parking, comfy recliner chairs and is very easy to get tickets. I would like it better if it had a faster concessions line and the theatre volumes turned down a little bit, but overall AMC Ford City is a quality place to see a new movie. Not that I won't go here again but some of this theater experience was not what I expect for the premium price. Went to see Nope(7/10) and I refused to order tickets online because of the $5+ convince fee. On a Saturday evening with one person working the box office, the wait was really short and we ended up in the theater in time to see the previews before the previews(ug). As far as snacks, you already know they're pricey. The popcorn is always worth it but stay away from the pizza/flatbread. It's movie theater pizza, so expectations were low but this was by far the worst pizza I've had at a movie theater. The seats are really comfortable and recline. The sound was good and screen quality was awesome. It's a comfortable environment to enjoy a movie. So comfortable in fact that someone in front of us took a FaceTime call midway through the movie. Which caused a barrage of cursing from another area of the theater but resolved quickly. Not the entertainment I expected but entertaining none the less. Not the best, not the worst, but maybe this is second or third choice if you're in the area and all the other theaters are sold out. $6 Tuesday is one perk I'd consider checking out. read more

I like that there's parking but almost every time I come here, someone is taking forever to decide what movie they want. For the ticket selling part and the kiosk tickets. Or sometimes there isn't even paper in be kiosk so I have to go into line to buy a ticket and the line is always long I've been in theatres watching a movie and some kids will come in and make so much noise. The security needs to be better. At least it isn't super dirty and there's recliners. MoviePass also works here too! read more

I visited this theater because it was more convenient for me upon being in the area at my internship site which is in the Ford City area. I visited it to see the movie Avengers: Endgame, a movie that many die-hard Marvel Comics lovers like myself anticipated seeing since Avengers: Infinity War. Ok, now the first time I visited AMC Ford City 14, I ended up leaving due to it being congested because it put me several minutes into the movie I visited to see which was Captain Marvel. With that, I recommend arriving early, using the ticket machine or purchasing your ticket(s) online in order to avoid the herd trickling in. To coincide with a half-filled parking lot at Ford City Mall, AMC does have a nice sized parking lot of its own, which does get filled throughout the week. So, parking is far from an issue at this location, but bring your walking shoes in case you end up parking in the Ford City Mall lot once the AMC lot gets congested with vehicles. I did not get the chance to purchase from the concession because of there being a long line, but I did get the chance to look around prior to entering the assigned room of my movie. The cleanliness is typical to any other theater, but I do give AMC credit because with the amount of clientele it gets, the theater looks well kept. Once I entered, I located my seat which the alphabet letter is located along the wall and the number of the seat is located on the arm-rest. I loved the reclining chairs, even though I felt like a total geek playing with it while others where sitting relaxed. The chairs added lots of comfort and I do not even recall moving around in discomfort which most theater chairs are. With that, AMC Ford City 14 has won my heart, and I would gladly return. I had not visited this theatre in several years. I purchased my tickets on line through AMC website where you can see and pick your seat selection. It was a group of us and we were able to select an entire row. The theatre has been upgraded to include reclining seats, bar area and upgraded snack selections. There is a huge parking lot in the front and adjacent to the theatre. They offer all of the latest movie selections and the theatre appeared to be very clean. Customer service could be a little better as it did not seem personable and the concession wait time. Will I be back? Most definitely if I am in the area. read more

The service is poor. They don't have the theaters ready at the movie time. Very nasty sweeping the 3D glasses offer the floor and the ones no open they picking up putting to the side and probably going to give to someone else. My husband is 62 and they never asked to see his is before. They always give him a senior ticket and today they wanted to ask for an ID after years of us coming to this theater. I would have rather rode down town than to come here. Attitudes suck. As a AMC Premier member this is horrible. This AMC is very close to my house but like most people that know the area. We all have various opinions about what happens with anything associated with Ford City by name. So I wanted to give the movie theater a chance and it was actually really well, accommodating and up to date. There's a lot of leg room, tons of seats too. Like most movie theaters, the food and drinks are ludicrously overpriced. Parking is good tickets are much cheaper than average. I definitely recommend. read more

We went to this location to watch a screener for the movie "The Girl and the Spider's Web". The movie theater is located in the rear of the mall which is good because it's not crowded. The inside is very spacious. The staff there was also very helpful and professional. Now for some of the negatives: The inside appeared to be a little outdated. The carpet looked dingy and the bathroom was unkempt. Many of the recliner chairs were dirty and it appeared that someone walked in mud and smeared their muddy shoes on the seats. the last couple of times i've been to this location I swear it's so filthy. i just got back home from watching a movie here. the bathrooms are always a MESS with toilet paper all over the floors, no soap refilled in any of the faucets to wash your hands (like how are the workers washing their hands before they go back to work?) and the garbage bins are filled to the max where people start piling trash on top. I'm not sure if it's something they leave to clean in the morning or something because the last time I was here which was only like 2 weeks ago, we had went to a late start moving screening at around 10:45 and when they movie was over by 1:30am, the trashes were again filled to the max and the bathrooms left a mess. The renovations allow you to sit in leather seats that recline all the way back, while still being able to have tons of room to walk through the row. While I can appreciate the effort in making this a nicer movie theatre by changing to reclining seats and self serve soda machines and remodeled bathrooms I also have to point the attention to how important it is to keep the place clean. It's not nice to see that smashed popcorn looks like part of the carpet design and the condiment station is kept in such a disgusting state. It almost looked like all the janitor personnel had quit at the same time and no one was available to clean. I've been coming here for years now and back then, I would have rated this theater a low 3-star. However, they have made a lot of improvements over the years and one of them which I really love are the reclining chairs. These chairs are spacious and cozy. The theater is fairly clean, you'll sometimes find popcorns in the floor here and there, and the garbage bins overflowing, but these can easily be fix. One more thing, the kiosks speeds up the ticket line. It removes the pressure of what movie you want to see and which seats you want to take. This theater has improve so much over the years but there are still room for more improvements. Overall, I would still recommend this theater. read more
