Not a big fan of This theatre - it is older and they have done renovations like the reclining chairs but they are all in a row with no tables and impossible not to social distance . For an adult no big deal but when adults basically share an arm rest with kids and I mean strangers it's kinda not worth the money - other theaters have two arm rests if people are at least next to each other

Love this neighborhood movie theater! This movie theater is modern, with its reclining seats. It always has the latest movies, good popcorn and slurpies. Staff clean each theater after every movie. Bathrooms have a lot of stalls and are clean. Safe movie theater to come to at night.

My first time here and I was impressed with the size of the theatre, the reclining seats, and the leg room. I'm 5'8 and even with my legs stretched out someone was still able to walk by in front of me. Bathroom was also clean; which is a plus.

This is a very nice theatre inside. The location is a bit hidden but a very nice theatre. Plus they also make the theatre good for watching movies. Some other AMC theaters don't. They have reserved seating, recliner seats, and ample leg room too. I most likely will revisit this theatre again later.

This theater is located right by the HIP mall which is nice if you want to shop beforehand. There's a very large parking lot but no garage to protect your car from snow/rain. The theater is tucked behind chick fil a and go bananas. When you walk in, it's a very clean theater. No bar area like other AMC theaters but good enough for me. When I went into the theater for the movie, I was a bit disappointed because the seats aren't really stacked at an incline. It slightly is but not steep enough because my seats were in the back and it was hard to see the screen. There were recliner seats but I couldn't lie down and view the screen completely. That might be because I'm short too though. Overall this is a nice AMC if you're in the area but it's not my top choice because of my obstructed view.

Cell phones ruin the movie.....Yeah, so do 25 minutes of #$@* commercials!!!!

Called "Going for Baroque", it featured (no surprise here, from the title) mostly music of the Baroque period. The concert consisted of Baroque masters J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, George Frideric Handl, and the almost-classical but mostly baroque Carl Phillip Emanuel Bach. The orchestra, according to the website, draws many of its members from the Lyric Opera Orchestra, as well as other career musicians from the Chicago area. If you are a true Baroque purist, you should be aware that this concert was performed on modern instruments. Some people apparently think that period pieces should be performed on period instruments, so that the modern audience can get closer to hearing what Antonio Vivaldi heard. For example, an absolutely wonderful piccolo player named Alyce Johnson performed pieces that were originally written for the sopranino recorder. It ain't what Vivaldi heard, not exactly, but who cares? I like hearing original instruments, but this was really good, too. I enjoyed this group, and the musical selections, very much. While some compositions from this group of Baroque composers are familiar, the Chicago Philharmonic dug a little deeper into the repertoire for Sunday's concert. The guest conductor and harpsichorist was David Schrader. Along with his musical duties, he also offered a brief history and background of the selected compositions, and I liked that, too. While I really enjoy Baroque and classical music, I am most definitely not a scholar. Getting a little more information broadened my knowledge and enriched the musical experience. And for you Groupon-aholics, I had absolutely no problem redeeming my Groupon. It was a delightful evening. I highly recommend the Chicago Philharmonic Orchestra. Even if you have to pay full price.

Over the 5 years since we have done numerous camps, day off school sessions, and the spring musicals BUT recently I got to fall back in love with Stages when I attended a Broadway Baby class with a friends toddler. It was so fun, so relaxed and the kids (and me!) had a blast. We went thru an abbreviated telling of a musical (Lion King, but each week is something new) with stories, movement, songs, instruments and BUBBLES! I wish this existed when my kids were this age. Definitely recommend trying a class!

When it was time to plan my son's 4 year old bday bash I reached out to see if we could something work for his chosen theme: superheroes! It turned out they did have an interactive performance party with superheroes and so we booked it right away! All I needed was to find an empty room to host it and I booked the JCC for just that. Emily was super responsive throughout the party planning process and followed up closer to the party for a final count so she knew how many performers to line up. We ended up having 2 performers (Batman and Wonder Woman) for 25ish kids, which was perfect. I've hired many characters for many parties and these two were by far the most talented. Batman (Colin) and Wonder Woman (blanking on her name, which is too bad since she was incredible) had the kids totally engaged, which is not easy when it comes to a large group of 3 and 4 year olds. They had them dancing, singing, jumping and even gave them each a chance to pose for a pic with them. They also weren't completely masked like many other characters so the kids didn't find them scary. Superheroes is just one of the many themed parties Stages offers. Others I"ve considered in the past were a lion king party (perfect for toddlers/pre-schoolers). They even offer a pop star party where performers come and pretend to be the team behind a specific pop star (Taylor Swift, Jojo Siwa, etc) - and teach the kids how to become the next pop star. So fun! I highly recommend using Stages for an upcoming party and I hope to sign up my kiddos for one of their classes one day.
