10/10 experience for me and the entire staff was friendly and supportive and knowledgeable!!

Went in to have a spider bite taken care of, filled out the medical history that included that I have stage 3 chronic kidney disease. Never saw a doctor or ar PA but was seen by a Nurse Practioner, who must not looked at my history. She perscribed generic Bactrim DS (SULFAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP DS) which is contraindicated for CKD III. This caused my Creatinine level too shoot to a very high level. When asked to talk to the Supervising physician, I was told he does not return phone calls. Wonder why??? This clinic needs to do a better job of teaching thier NP's. read more

After being placed in a waiting room, it was an hour before anyone came to see me. She would not treat my sinus infection and possible pneumonia without a blood test. It took another hour before anyone came back to see me and tell my that my test was normal and I don't need any medication. So I guess I'll hack and cough and wheeze and live with my completely blocked sinuses. Thanks for wasting 2 hours of my life and sticking me with a needle for nothing. read more

We love AMC Urgent Care! They have always been kind, professional, thorough and quick when we have been to the clinic. Their staff is knowledgeable and listens to our concerns and then proceeds accordingly. I love that they give back to our community in Stillwater as well, that is important to our family. We will continue to use AMC for all our needs when our Primary Care office is closed, and I will continue to refer our friends and family to this clinic. read more

From the time I turned into my paperwork to sit down in the waiting room, to actually leaving, I sat there for 2 1/2 ALMOST 3 hours. Just to get X-Rays. I was the only one in the waiting room after I turned the papers. About an hour and a half into waiting in my room, I hear the doctor (FROM MY ROOM) ask her girls "Has anyone gotten her X-rays?" and the all of them at once go "Oh!" then I sat there for 30 more minutes. I heard her order shots for at least 6 people while I was waiting. I had 4 different people apologize for the wait. They were nice but extremely unprofessional. I had the most amazing experience at the Stillwater AMC. The staff there was amazing. From the front desk person to the aides to the doctor on staff, they all were amazing. All they cared about was my comfort and helping me feel better. I came in with a severe case of food poisoning and dehydration. They hooked me up to an IV of fluid and took a blood sample to be sure it wasn't anything else. Hanna Douglas and her staff should be praised for their customer care with a smile. I went in recently because I wasn't feeling the greatest. I was able to get in fairly quickly and get taken care of. I was helped by dawn and the nurse piper. Both were very friendly and were able to provide a comfortable atmosphere while also helping me with my sickness. Piper had to provide a steroid shot for me. Good staff. Very friendly and kind. I felt like they knew what they were doing compared to the other places here in Stillwater. read more

Horrible staff. I think everyone should know how awful the staff and bedside manner is. Don't waste your time or money. Worst place in Stillwater. I was very sick and they offered no help. Went to a second doctor that told me i did have an infection and put me on steroids. How could they be so heartless? They took my blood and everything and knew i was sick! Of course, after we had called and you told us you would lock the door at 8:30 you purposely closed early so you would have to "mess with" a patient. I've used this facility several times. The staff and providers are friendly and get their jobs done efficiently. During COVID, I've needed testing on 3 different occasions. on one occasion, I needed x-rays. The process has been seamless for me. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone! read more

After today's interaction with Cheyenne at the front desk, I will not be returning to this urgent care. I came in a few weeks ago and was prescribed antibiotics along with being told they would send a sample off to see if those antibiotics would treat my infection. I missed the call backs because I cannot answer the phone at work and no voicemail was left. Life got chaotic and I was able to call today to get that information and was not even asked my name or any relevant information. Straight away Cheyenne had an attitude with me and said since I hadn't been seen in a couple of weeks that I'd have to come back in. I told her that I just needed to know the results and if the antibiotics prescribed were effective. She refused to tell me and still did not ask for my information, when I asked why she was withholding my medical record and information from me she insisted she wasn't and then said she couldn't look it up at this moment anyways. I asked for her name and that's when she finally asked for mine and said she would call me back. There was zero reason for the attitude as I simply wanted to know if the antibiotics were effective or not. Piss poor customer service and very disheartening that a person like that is in the customer service business when she cannot keep her attitude in check long enough to help a client obtain medically necessary information that I had every right to know about. read more

We have had wonderful staff see us these past few months. I went in with a severe sinus infection and they immediately got me diagnosed and given a prescription. My daughter went in recently and they tested her for strep and flu. When it was negative, they tested to see if it was viral or bacterial. They were very thorough. Great place and great staff. read more

I went in because I was exposed to Covid and needed a test. They have no protocols in place to protect patients. There's a sign on the door and masks are required. Although proper use is not enforced. Nose exposed. They did not take anyone's temperature. There was no social distancing. Their procedures were obviously not updated for a pandemic. They are doing the bare minimum and definitely are not putting the health and safety of the patients and staff first. I waited over an hour although there were just a couple of people ahead of me. They were calling people who had come in way after I had. Even though they knew I could potentially have had Covid I was left in the waiting room. The test was barely a swab - nothing like the tests done at other clinics. I have no confidence that my result was a true negative test. Not to mention if I didn't have it when I went in, I could do easily have caught it there due to their irresponsibility. read more

I received a fairly nasty burn and decided to try this urgent care out. The blonde lady at the front desk was unprofessional, unempathetic, and uncaring. I waited for ten minutes to get to them because there were others there (without emergency complaints.). When I finally got to the front the two desk ladies were in no rush to help me despite tears running down my face and me barely being able to stand. They had no sympathy and no help. Do not go here if you have any urgent matters. You will be met with snark, no rush, and weird stares from staff. I went to the regular Access Urgent Care and the staff there was much kinder and rushed to get me in once they realized I had a serious complaint. read more

My daughter went to this clinic. She stated she was allergic to Zithromax. She left there with a prescription for a Z-pack. That was bad enough but when I called the clinic to get it straightened out, I was put in touch with a person named Brenda who was the most unprofessional person I have ever come in contact with. She told me these things happen sometimes and continually talked over me and laughed uncontrollably at my concern. When I asked for her name she refused to give it to me. I only found it out after I spoke to the nurse practitioner who told me this isn't the first time they have had complaints. If this is true, why do they keep this person employed there? I have never been treated with such disregard in my whole 60 years of life. I strongly discourage anyone who is looking for medical care from going to this clinic. read more

You can't go wrong with AMC Urgent care on 6th in Stillwater. Dawn Brown is great. She will not over subscribe medication which is better for you in the long run. The staff is friendly and nice. read more

I really enjoyed the inside of this clinic. It didn't feel like a typical urgent care and I was relaxed upon entering. The receptionist was helpful and worked as quick as she could considering the several other people in the waiting area. I was promptly taken back with a nurse after probably 10-15 minutes. (Much shorter than the usual doctor office time at the university or another urgent care.) The nurse was extremely friendly and thorough and the longest wait was shortly after for the doctor. This was because there was only one out of (what I believe) four doctors working due to weather or time or something. The doctor got me out of there fast and I got medicine prescribed for my illness. Overall, faster than the normal urgent clinic. I have no complaints and I will visit them again when crunched for time. read more
