Most of the time there are two employees which are over 50's very nice and attentive. But today, 06/11/2026 (In case that Mr. Llanos, the store owner wants to revise his store security system) around quarter passed afternoon I went to the store, and a guy represented himself as the manager treat me very bad. When I walked into the store, he was chit-chatting with two other employees, I have asked for an Item, he said, " passing the line on the right" I've asked " On the second line? He turned away and went back to continue his front store speech. I was searching for the older employees but unfortunately, they were off. So, not finding what I was looking for I went back to the "MANAGER" and ask " Sorry, I couldn't find it, could you help me? He got upset, stand to the second line and said" See it is where I told you, then stated talking to himself but referring to me, that He doesn't know why people don't' understand when you talk to them, He was very nasty and rude. Suddenly we exchanged some words, he made sure to bring out that he was the manager, and if I don't like it, I can leave and kept on and on and on. I don't know which type of manager is him. In my office, once a customer cross the door, everybody is in function of assisting this client. So, I said to him: Please, cut it off, I am not trying to argue, I don't need to prove any point to you, you know I try to have every day a positive attitude, make myself happy, not misserable, because I dont need to load my day with trash, I need to load my day with peace.

Realizing that using black electrical tape was not aesthetically pleasing to the designer wannabe's…read moreeye, I drove myself off to the local hardware, which according to Yelp was the ACE Hardware located on 284 NE 79th St In Miami. In short they gave me an estimate of $8.00 for 5 small rolls of different colored electrical tape with 1 small white one in. OMG I was appalled. Disgusted with Yelp I turned to Google and found the Little River Building & Home Supply store. It wasn't far from this ACE Robbery store. I did not have high hopes as I had never heard of this place and it seemed to be off the beaten path for sure. It was 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, and like most places in Little Haiti I was expecting it to be closed or be closing soon. I pull up, and pull in, and behind the counter, to me; (which to you may seem odd), is two medium framed, Italian Middle Aged ladies who seem to mean business. One lady clearly runs the store, the other is either family, or is just providing company. I obviously seem exasperated because the one Italian mafia looking middle aged lady asks me how she can help me, which I think is quite refreshing in Little Haiti, but anyway, I tell her I am desperately looking for white electrical tape, a feat that seems to be elusive as finding Dom Perignon on 54th and NE 2nd Ave. She turns away from me and I think, yeah they don't have it either, I should probably should just look online. She turns back to me holding a large roll of white electrical tape and says, "here we go". I look at her like she is definitely the Italian Mafia. I ask her how much. She says; "$3 dollars". Well that was that right there. Like someone out there said; it's all in the little things. It damn well sure is. I have been back three times since. The Owners name is Laguna. I don't think she's Italian. I have never had the audacity to ask. I think she has some handsome sons though, and I think perhaps they put in a shift or two at the store, but I think on the whole she works herself to death there. Her husband died years ago. She told me she knew more than her husband did, and I believe her. I once told her about a speaker wire project I was doing and she asked me I about the points I was using. I had never heard of a point but I had seen one. I just never put two and two together. I told her about the silver mirror that was hanging by a miracle and a wisp of air, she scolded me on the chosen anchor and educated me on the correct anchor as well as the overall use of the stud finder while I was trying to find a stud finder app on my IPHONE. What I can tell you if you're a Man - I mean you must be reading this for something informational enough to want to go to this store, is that their 80lb cement bags are $6.90 each, and it doesn't matter how much you want they have it on hand. And you are so welcome; I took all those pictures just for you big daddy.

June 17, 2026…read more Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Damaged Refrigerator Delivery, Lost Wages, and Unsatisfactory Customer Service To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a long-time and loyal Lowe's customer to express my extreme disappointment regarding the handling of my recent refrigerator purchase and the unacceptable customer service I have received throughout this process. My case number is 77203133. The refrigerator that was originally scheduled for delivery arrived damaged before it ever reached my home. According to the photographs shown to me by the delivery driver, the damage was clearly visible and significant enough that the appliance should never have left the warehouse. This raises serious concerns about Lowe's quality control procedures and the lack of proper inspection before merchandise is loaded for delivery. As a result of this issue, I have been forced to take two separate days off from work, causing me lost income and considerable inconvenience. Despite this, Lowe's has failed to provide compensation that reasonably reflects the impact this situation has had on me. I spoke with Calvin from the Pompano warehouse regarding a resolution. He initially offered a $170 discount off the purchase price, which I declined. He then increased the offer to $240, which I also declined. I requested $350 in compensation, which I believe was a fair and reasonable amount considering the damaged merchandise, the inconvenience, and my lost wages. Calvin advised me that he spoke with Lowe's management and that my request was denied. I also spoke with Diane in Customer Service, who informed me that compensation could not be discussed until the replacement refrigerator had been delivered. I explained that if Lowe's was unwilling to offer reasonable compensation, it would make more sense to cancel the order immediately rather than require me to take another day off work and risk further inconvenience. Additionally, my experience with Customer Service Representative Armekeem was unacceptable. At approximately 6:20 p.m., I was placed on mute and then on hold for a total of 19 minutes during a call that lasted 33 minutes. Afterward, I was transferred to Supervisor Shannia, who informed me that there was no way to adjust the delivery time and that Lowe's could not accommodate any scheduling changes. What makes this even more frustrating is that at 7:31 p.m. I received an automated phone call confirming that my delivery was scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on June 16. I then received an email at 8:12 p.m. confirming the same delivery window. This suggests that delivery scheduling information was being updated and communicated, contradicting the assertion that no changes could be made. To add insult to injury, on June 16, Customer Service Representative Morgan and Team Lead Don offered me a $50 gift card as compensation for the damaged refrigerator, two days of missed work, the delivery issues, and the poor customer service I experienced. As a loyal Lowe's customer, I found this offer to be inadequate and dismissive of the inconvenience, frustration, and financial impact this situation has caused. I have been a loyal customer of Lowe's for many years and expected a higher standard of service and accountability. Instead, I have encountered damaged merchandise, inconsistent communication, excessive hold times, inflexible scheduling, and compensation offers that do not adequately address the losses I have incurred. I respectfully request that Lowe's review this matter thoroughly and provide a fair resolution that reflects the inconvenience, lost wages, and poor customer experience resulting from this incident. I would appreciate a prompt response from a manager or executive customer relations representative authorized to resolve this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Mechelle Finch 305-978-5346 Mechie1@bellsouth.net Case #77203133

With all the madness around, they were calm, cool and collected. They did not over charge, quality plywood sheets were given and they worked endless hours in the heat with hardly any breaks on loading cars/trucks. To anyone that tries to claim price gouging, you are literally, out of your mind and clearly showed up last min with your "entitled self". When a truck full of 400 sheets showed up from Pompano, they selflessly stayed after until the last one was gone. The site showed $32 per sheet but that specific one (thickness) sold out... then they went to the thicker sheets which were $40... as do all stores. I'm super grateful for them because I just moved here with the military and was away for school in Virginia, so I came back right in time for a major hurricane. All the stores were sold out and he said to come by. Thank you International Plywood and Team for everything, I'm definitely bringing some cookies by, post-storm, to show my appreciation. P.S. great quality sheets and I feel much safer facing this beast of a hurricane.
