I have been a customer of Amelia Florist for the past six years. I would say I visit not in frequently. Today an arrangement was done for me that I was very unhappy with. I took it back in and the customer service was outstanding. Client retention and value - all but lost art. The young woman and helping me (I wish I had gotten her name), was apologetic and promised to make it right. She and another team member immediately went to task, reworking the arrangement and adding flowers to make it fuller, asking for my feedback along the way. When they were finished, she made sure I was happy with it before boxing it up. She also threw in a little something extra for my trouble. Her words were what were most impressive. She said." thank you for trusting us with your business and for giving us the chance to make it right." Businesses everywhere can learn a big lesson here. They could've lost me as a customer. I was pretty ticked off when I walked in, but they won me back in a heartbeat and cemented my loyalty. Merry Christmas, Amelia Florist! read more

These guys have amazing customer service. I was an idiot and forgot to get a corsage for my daughter's Father/Daughter dance. I called them last minute and they were able to get it for me in under 2 hours even though they were already handling a ton of corsage orders from other people. Highly recommend! read more

Needed a corsage last minute, they were kind enough to provide one, however explained over the phone what my daughters color scheme was which was black/creme dress with wine/merlot colored shoes, was asked what color jewelry and told them gold. Was told they were out of white sweetheart roses but could do red. Picked up corsage which was pink sweetheart roses with purple. When I called to speak to Bridgett she said she said red or pink (pink was never discussed I would have declined pink). Below picture is what they made. The bouquets were even more beautiful than what I thought they would be, the prices were reasonable, and their customer service is great. I ordered a "Gourmet Fruit & Cheese" basket through Gourmetgiftbaskets.com. **Amelia Florist Wine & Gift shop filled the order.** What was delivered WAS A JOKE! Whoever put it together clearly went shopping at Kroger. The "gourmet" cheese was Kraft Colby jack, the crackers were "Private Select" (Kroger's store brand) and the fruit was simply green grapes, Apple, Orange and banana. LAZY! If you've ever shopped Kroger, you know there is a TRUE gourmet cheese section and NICE crackers. I was EMBARRASSED as this was a long distance birthday gift for my best friend. If I could put negatives I would!! I ordered wind chimes for a funeral, and upon seeing them realized they sent the wrong one. When I called they said that the one I ordered was discontinued, so they replaced it with a different one. It had a completely different prayer on it, so I was disappointed, but its too late at that point to change it. Fast forward 8 months later, I ordered another one for a dear friend who lost her husband, and got a call Friday night at 6pm when the funeral was 9 am the next morning to say the one I ordered didn't arrive!! This time I told them to send whatever chime they had and credit me the money! I would not be paying again for something I didn't order exactly! It's $200 so that would be $400 of merchandise that I didn't pick out! The owner went on and on about how it was the vendor's fault and would not take responsibility for it. So then I get to the layout and when I went to see which one she sent, I was shocked to find she had sent NOTHING!!!!!! I was so upset and appalled, at which point my husband called the shop. At this point the owner was busy and couldn't come to the phone!! Her husband then called my husband back and told him I had told her since it was the wrong one I told her to cancel the order!!!! Who would cancel on the night before when I clearly had no time to order her a new one!! I think they must do this a lot, not supplying the right one. I guess Vicky decided rather than lose money, she would not deliver anything to the funeral. Very frustrating and sad!! please don't buy anything from these crooks!!!! read more
