The selection seems huge, but the selection was matched by the prices. I couldn't bring myself to buy anything. The prices were, for me, prohibitive. I love the location; it's super close to home. I can't speak to service or quality, so I'm sticking with a middle of the road review of three-stars, which seems OK by me. Others might find the prices are worth it. Perhaps the quality is high. As you can see from the photos what I paid 70.00 dollars for, was not worth what I paid for. Cheap basket and not the flowers I was told. I was embarrassed when I saw them. I call this a switch and bate. I called them and left a message. I will update what the response was. Update- I spoke with Kim and she apologized and returned 15 dollars to us since the funeral was today and useless to send another. She said that another person had designed our basket. I sent her a picture to confirm the difference. I appreciate that she listened and tried to make it right. read more

Each year for Mother's Day my wife has ordered my mother-in-law her favorite flowers for her deck - dark red geraniums in a planter. Since we live out of state, this was easy and convenient, the flowers were always beautiful, and my mother-in-law was always very pleased. This year, the sales associate who took the order seemed to not rush and read the order back to my wife, which was dark red geraniums with some greenery and in a planter. We paid $75 plus delivery fee and tax. This is the first year we've been very displeased. My mother-in-law did not get what we ordered. There is a planter with one geranium plant, along with purple flowers and a lot of yellow flowers. My mother-in-law does not like yellow flowers, and this is not what we ordered. So, my mother-in-law now has what we ordered, but they're from Meijer, and we paid $30. read more

I needed to send Mother's Day flowers to my Mom and I live across town. She has always purchased her vegetables plants and flowers from Robbin's and swears by their quality! With COVID-19, I thought this would be the perfect non-contact delivery gift to send. I called and spoke with Kim and she said she would pull the order herself and send it out for delivery. I felt comfortable and was tickled when my Mom called thanking us for the PERFECT GIFT! She was overwhelmed with the amount of plants and flowers and the quality! She said they looked great! Stay away. I ordered a $75 flower arrangement for a fall themed anniversary gift. I discussed it at length with the woman on the phone prior. They sent an ALL PURPLE arrangement with bright red flowers. How embarrassing. I called and emailed them horrified asking if people are color blind there or did they send that as a joke? No response. Real nice. Classy place. Stay away people. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Pros: - Shonda took a lot of time to meet with us and discuss our flowers. When I watned to make some last minute changes, she was on board. I felt like she really understood my vision. It was also much more reasonably priced than others I had seen. - The centerpieces were very nice and the head table, ceremony flowers, and entrance table flowers were all Perfect! My bouquet was also georgous! Cons: - On the day of, the flowers were late, so that was pretty frustrating because we had to wait for pictures and it caused the dad's to miss helping my husband get dressed/ tie his tie because they had to help set up. - The girls bouquets were supposed to be cream hydrangas with lots of greenery, but they were all green (not at maturity yet). They also died very quickly and where quite wilty for the ceremony. - The centerpieces were not as big and flowy as I was hoping. read more

I found myself driving home unexpectedly from vacation for an untimely death of a very close family member. From the road, I called Robben Florist, as I always do, and Kim answered the phone. As I am in shock, I am trying to explain to Kim that my brother LOVED our beach on Siesta Key, Florida, and that there was no other place in the world he would rather be. I asked her if she could create an arrangement with a coastal feel. When I walked into that funeral home and saw what she had done, I was STUNNED. She created the most gorgeous arrangement I have ever seen! She had deep sea blue dendrobium orchids cascading down over soft aqua hydrangea and cream colored roses. Curly willow sticks stood up in the sea glass colored, rope handled vase. Exquisite ! Unique ! PERFECT !!! Robben Florist never disappoints, and ALWAYS.... exceeds my expectations. read more

On Dec. 18, I found a terrarium that I wanted to buy for a present. Since the plants in it didn't look full and fresh, I was told to come back in two days, which would allow them enough time to rework the terrarium. I called before making my second trip to the shop, and was told that while sprucing up the terrarium, the top rim got chipped, but it wasn't noticeable when the lid was on. They said that they had another terrarium with a different colored lid and base if I didn't want the "slightly" chipped one. (The bases were not interchangeable, so switching them out was not an option.) On the evening of Dec. 21, I made a second trip to Robben's. When I got to the shop, I saw that the slight "chip" was actually a large shattered area on the rim which was easily seen even with the lid on. The other terrarium they had told me about had a chip on the ceramic base, which I pointed out to the employee. He kept insisting it was not a chip, that it was part of the finish. I know a chip when I see AND feel it, and was both angry and disappointed that someone would try to make me believe otherwise. No one from the shop called me to apologize or offer to make a new arrangement in another container. Accidents happen, but reputable business try to make their customers happy so they will come back. I believe the two people I attempted to work with at Robben's were the owners--they were not young, seasonal help. I will never shop their store in the future and would advise others to do the same. What a horrible experience right before Christmas. read more
