Happy hour menu
M R.

Great happy hour. They have decent portions. The wings looked good too. .

Modern Manhattan, up. Very good.

This was some of the best chicken pesto I've ever had. Hot, full of flavor, and very creamy. Hard to believe this was a hotel bar item. I also ordered a Manhattan. Very food for a hotel bar. They seem to have it together here.

Mac and cheese side

Food was better than expected. I'd say pretty dang good. I was very happy with Street Tacos. Hubby was happy with the Turkey Club. And my girls were happy with the Mac and Cheese & pretzel bites and they are pretty picky kids. Lol So far this is the best part of our stay at the Hilton.

Caesar Salad with grilled chicken

I was ready to dislike the place cause the prices are a little elevated but I had the Caesar salad and added the grilled chicken and it was delicious. The chicken was still warm on the salad, which I love, there was plenty of Parmesan, and the dressing came on the side. I would def come back and try other stuff on the menu!

Tofu bowl!

So far excellent! Service and quality of the food is top notch. For an airport hotel this far exceeds the expectations for me. It's a bit expensive but it is what it is. Tofu bowl pictured was outstanding!

Pub Burger that is a 10oz Beef Angus choice that is flavorful and delicious.

A cozy, friendly hotel bar/lounge that is dimly lit with a concentrated bar menu that offers variety of comfort foods.

Ok for a hotel airport bar. Head down the street to the lobby if looking for more action.

I was truly shocked at how good the food was at an airport hotel.

The first time I came here, I had a great time but I will likely not return again after the last…read moretime. There were 9 of us. First of all, it was so hot in there and we had to get up from the table so the fans could be turned on - something management should've acknowledged and excused themselves for. We came in, ordered hookah and drinks, and waited a really long time to order food. Our waitress did not speak English. I understand Elizabeth is a heavily Spanish-speaking area, but it's unacceptable to have a waitress who can't communicate to patrons properly, or to not even have someone be able to translate for her. I felt bad for her because it's management's fault, not hers. After forty minutes of sitting there, she comes over and gives us one singular paper menu - for the nine of us. On this menu it says "brunch menu - $49.99". Why were we given the regular menus and sitting there for almost an hour just to be told we had to order from this menu with only three appetizer and 5-7 entree options?? Our waitress was not only unable to communicate to us that we had to order from this menu, but did not understand when I was repeatedly asking for a manager. Eventually I had to stand up and go up to the man at the front who said he was the manager. I asked him why we have been sitting for an hour and just being told this, to which he did not acknowledge - he just told me we had to order from that menu or spend 50 dollars if we order from the regular menu. How are you gonna tell paying customers how much to spend? Ten minutes later, our waitress tells us that they don't even have 2 out of the 3 appetizers. So we're being forced to order off this menu and they don't even have all the options they're forcing upon us. At that point we just paid for the drinks and left. Obviously our business wasn't valued so we took our money elsewhere. The whole thing was so unprofessional and tacky.

It was easy to find parking nearby on the street, we walked in and were immediately sat down. Service was great throughout the meal. The server did speak primarily to us in Creole. I can see how that may not work for someone who is not Haitian. Maybe having someone who did speak a mix. However, he was very nice and the food came out fast and was delish. Shared a griot fritay to start and it was definitely tasty and portion was good. For entree I had the legume with Beef with black rice. Tasty, spicy, and very authentic tasting. I can say they stay true to the flavors and don't water them down. The drink was ehh. I did not taste much liquor in the creole punch. Not worth it in my opinion. In terms of ambiance, I wish better music was playing. The set up was cool. Nothing amazing. If I was in the area again, I would come back.

I was able to order a cocktail (mangotini) made just the way I liked it and it was super delicious. My companions ordered food which took some time come out. We only really ordered appetizers and everyone enjoyed their food. This place is not big so not too many tables. I will mention one thing I stated to the bartender....The bar chairs are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. These seats were not made to fit full size adult derrière. Good vibe.
