First of all, I knew going in i had a solid easy accident case where the other side had already accepted fault. I expected a settlement of like 30k in my pocket. What Alex and Almeida actually got me was much much more, like where you think the other side wont pay, lol...they paid! Almeida, you are a FORCE to be reckoned with!!! You, in my personal opinion, are worth everything, and so much more!!!!! I know you weren't happy with me bothering you every other day for an update, lol...and I do know how annoying I can be....so thank you from the bottom of my heart for always taking care of me, even while you were away on vacation. That is absolute dedication from you. It also goes to show that the whole team over there always knew what was happening, and were able to give me proper expectations throughout. The entire process took 6 months, and that 6 months was rough, but so worth it. I received a call from them after a car accident I had involving another driver who rear ended me, and I accepted their business due to the other driver not having insurance, DL, etc. And I didnt what to be in a bad spot. The customer service was good, yolanda helped me throughout my case, she was very communicative and responsive. The only reason I give 3 stars is because after everything, my take out of 25k was 6k. They received 44% of my settlement equaling to $10,500 exactly and medical received around 8k or 9k, roughly. I read the fine print but I didn't expect for them to take more than 3-6 months to close. Becareful as to how much their share will be, because I feel like it was a rip off for the time I had to take off work, dr appts I went too and all the driving I did. Not considering the lost wages. Here it the review I posted: Terrible law firm with extremely unprofessional staff. From the very beginning, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. The receptionist is always rushing through conversations and makes you feel like you're an inconvenience rather than a client. I don't recall her exact name, but I believe it was something like Catherine. My father's case manager, Ana, has been consistently rude and dismissive. Should be fired. She speaks to us with a sassy, condescending tone and treats us as if we are children rather than clients seeking updates on an important legal matter. Her customer service is unacceptable and completely unprofessional. She rarely answers the phone, and when she does, she makes it seem like we're bothering her. Most of the time, her assistant Ohdela answers instead, only to tell us that Ana is never available. Communication is extremely poor, and we are constantly left in the dark about my father's case. No one should have to chase down a law firm for basic updates or be spoken to disrespectfully. Now that I no longer have the concern of them withholding my settlement check (a check they failed to endorse might I add) I can be brutally honest about my experience with amerberg law group. For starts the communication was lack luster. Almeida hardly ever communicated in a timely manner even for urgent matters. That said you are more than likely better off handling an auto insurance claim yourself rather than get poor communication. But that's just my experience, at the end of the day it could just be a one off, but those in the law are held to a standard higher than the average person as these people's livelihoods they have to handle. Dora was my case manager and it was a pain to get a hold of her. Always sent me to voice mail and even if I texted her or called her in her own number she would never respond. I got rear ended and person accepted liability. Tell me why my own insurance paid for my damages and because of that my insurance quote went up. After two and a half years I decided to just find someone else because I found out they haven't even started trail since they claimed they were going to sue the other insurance. If I wanted an update I had to call and somehow get a hold of them. Don't recommend at all. They don't bother working your case. I was blocked and unblocked when they needed to get ahold of me. They lied about offers and lied about everything.almost hit statue of limitations before they wanted to get ahold of me and work my case to only LIE to me and denied me my right to sue, lied about my offer and gave me false numbers and tried tricking me thinking I was getting x amount when my paperwork stated different and was actually the first low amount and forced me to take the first offer. Insurance company took 1 1/2 years to attempt to look at my car and I was 0% at fault being hit by 2 negligent drivers. The insurance claims to have started their investigation 6 months after the accident which lasted 7 months and the lawyers office thought or cared to fight it or call them out on acting in bad faith and because my insurance already took my car when they were suspose to the other parties insurance was mad they couldn't look at my car hence why they gave low low offers and the lawyers didn't care at all. I asked to start a lawsuit several times 7 months before 2 years up which I know for a fact we would have been offered more because the insurance company sitting on the case and mad they didnt do their job and was their fault that I didn't have my car 1 year and 6 months after the accident. When the lawyers would reach out they would ask for reciepts and other things stating I'll get paid for that the insurance company asked for them which was a lie because I never got paid and I sent and verified reciepts were recieved. Everything they state on their website is a lie. They don't hold all drivers accountable or to the fullest extent of the law. They will lie to you to force to to sign what they want and retract it months later. They accept offers whichout contacting you and when you deny the 1st offer 10x over the course of 3 years they still somehow accept the offer and don't tell you they accepted the offer and when the insurance company sends you a letter saying hey we sent your lawyer a check for the first offer last week and having no knowledge of accept any offer or signing any documents at all for the offer and 4 months later lawyer still hasn't reached out or stated anything or even mentioned the check or paid me. They are crooks and liars and can't be trusted. This is only partial of my horrible experience and not fair or right how they are lying and stealing from those injured and lost everything. read more

Initially I assumed it was just the office staff being incompetent and unprofessional until I made the decision to close my case with them and had the displeasure of actually speaking with the attorney. I have never even HEARD of an attorney speaking to a client the way he spoke with me. Needless to say I closed my case with this joke of a firm and handled the settlement with the insurance company ON MY OWN and received more than the bs offer this firm had presented me with.
