Our Salesperson was great. The issue occured with the installation. We were told that the install was going to take one day they came on Saturday took part of our fence down put part of the new fence up. Told us they would be back the next day they never showed up we waited around we called the office our sales person trying to figure out what was going on because now our yard and our neighbor's yard was exposed. Both houses have dogs that need to be confined in the backyard. Needless to say after multiple emails phone calls I still never received any reason why we were told one thing and a job that was supposed to be a one day job now took 3 days. If I could give 0 starts I would. It's a shame that we were treated this way. We are returning customers who have also referred 3 other people who have bought fences from Ameridream. We have been dodged 3x now on an estimate for our deck. My husband took a day off of work so that he could be home for the estimate appointment...all to wait 30 minutes into our appointment with no contact from the company. When we called in, they informed us that the "sales person" had car problems and would not be able to make it to the appointment. We were never contacted and had been waiting, had we not reached out the "sales person" would have been a no call no show. Over $10,000 in business given to this company by us and our referrals, just to be treated with poor communication and customer service. We take loyalty very seriously when it comes to vendors/companies that we work with and have returned to give MORE business to Ameridream. I needed 60ft of 42in aluminum fence with two gates. When Tom the sales man came out I told him I wanted it surface mounted. Tom advised me that coring through my beautiful sidewalk was the way to go," I would get a much better product." My first thought was collateral damage and messy , I should have followed my instincts..... oh well Tom's the pro. Holy ^%#$ what a debacle, Slurry Everywhere !!! Every core hole was spalled to the hilt. The decorative collars at the base couldn't even cover the damage ,or all the cement that didn't make it in the hole. Let's not even talk about the material and hardware strewn about my yard. It took Three days to core 12(ea) BTW LOL. On the fourth day day they set the post, not with epoxy as Tom the sales man said, with some cementacious material that FAILED miserably considering the temperatures were well below freezing that night. Needless to say most if not all the post wiggled and were out of plum. Tom the sales man told me they must have used dirty water LOL !!!! not the water from the spigot they used to core and create all the slurry with. When I called Tom about the situation he agreed it was improper and " Between you and me we won't be making a penny coming out again" Ya think ? From start to finish this 60ft took 11 Days ! And a Full day of scrapping and Power washing on my end to clean up. I will be taking the Collars off a repairing my once beautiful sidewalk when the weather permits. The salvaging moment came from Jose who chipped everything out and reinstalled the post. Very Disappointing considering the money . Tom's communication skills have much to desired. read more

Have called numerous times and left messages with no response. I would not trust this place for ANYTHING when it comes to fencing needs. I was forced to use them to remove a portion of my fence for a pool install and then put the portion back up (forced because they were the original installers before we bought the property). First off the amount to do this simple job was absolutely outrageous. But more than that, I do not know who runs this place, but I don't think they have ever spoken to each other. The first 3x I called they "couldn't find my file" and acted as though they had never heard spoken to me before when I literally had called 3 hours earlier. Then I put a downpayment for the work, and had to call a few more times to confirm my appt. because the office seemed confused that I had an appt. for service. Then, when it was time to put the portion back up, they again, "couldn't find my file" and had no idea what was supposed to happen. Upon completion, they again "couldn't find my file" and were contacting the previous owners of my house for payment!! What?! Finally, because money was owed, they magically "found my file" and sent me an invoice in my name, for the WRONG PROPERTY. The invoice said I owed $300 and when I mistakenly asked a question about my invoice, they responded with OOPS, that's actually wrong, I got another email saying I owed $450. BECAUSE OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ERROR!!!!!!!!! This company is an absolute joke, and unless you are willing to be on hold for half your life while they "locate your file," and then try to make the customer pay for their mistakes, I would avoid at all cost. read more

Where to even begin on this review. Matt came out last October to do a quote on replacing an existing chain link fence with a 5 foot cedar fence. At that time, we decided not to move forward. Flash forward to February of this year. We contact AmeriDream to requote the job, and the price had jumped 20% due to the lumber shortage. No shock, so we decided to schedule the install. Original install date was May 13. Sent several emails and phone calls to try to confirm that date, but never heard anything back. In my head, no news is good news. May 12, get a call saying they wouldn't be able to install that day because they overbooked themselves. Rescheduled for June 21. As it was coming closer, again several emails and phone calls not returned to confirm. Crew shows up on the morning of the install and says they can't do it due to landscaping issues in they yard (that I specifically talked to the sales guy about) and I had to call the office to reschedule. Needless to say, 8 phone calls and 3 emails and still no response. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB as well as my credit card company to get my deposit back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY read more

When we called them it was not acceptable it two more than 3 months for anyone to contact us. When they finally did contact us it took them another month to come and review the job. Other than shotty customer service and having a hard time reaching someone, the fence install was great. So when we decided to go to them for a deck we figured it would be ok. FAR FROM IT! We were connected to a salesman in June of 2020. We signed a contract in July 2020 knowing that due to covid shutdowns our materials wouldn't be in for several weeks. Our salesman promised on multiple occasions that we would get started soon. From the beginning of April 2021 until end of June 2021 we were pushed week after week. We were told the permit and materials was all ready. I contacted our village and found there was no permit pulled for the project. We finally said forget it and got our money back. It took a few weeks before we got our money. Communication is horrible. We were constantly calling and texting our salesman and builder. I would NEVER recommend this company for anything unless you want to be scammed. read more

Tom was our sales guy here. Putting it plain and simply, if you're looking for a company that does a good job installing but "never" returns telephone calls, then this is your company. Tom never returns phone calls. You leave a message at the office, if you do get through to anyone and they do not return phone calls. They cut our cable line when installing the posts. When this happened I could not communicate with the workers because none of them spoke any English. You would've thought that someone from the office would've contacted me so that I knew what the next step would be, but they never called me. I left numerous messages over a two-week period of time with 2 holes in our yard and an incomplete job. Guess what, no return calls. Bert is the gem of this company. Great communication skills, very down to earth, honest, fair, and easy to work with. Another company quoted us a slightly better price and Bert worked to get us a comparable price, which led us to hire AmeriDream for the job. As quoted, our work was completed in one day. The chain link looks great, is level with the ground even with our sloping yard, and is where/how we plotted it out. Again, credit to Bert for the initial estimate/surveying work and for properly conveying what we wanted done. The only downside that I found, which keeps this from being a 5 star rating, was in the cleanup. A broken cap from one of the fence posts, several trimmings from the chain link, plastic ties, and even a 3" nail were left behind in our yard and our neighbor's yard. read more

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. We are completely satisfied with our experience with this company. Our estimator, Tom, arrived on time was was very knowledgeable. We choose a fence and installation date and then changed our minds the next day on the type of fence we wanted. Tom quickly provided us with a quote on a different fence. The fence was installed within a couple of weeks. The quality of the fence is superb! The installation went smoothly and the installers did not leave any mess behind. We had Ameri Dream Fence & Deck come out in summer of 2021 and install a high end fence along one side of our back yard and along the back of the yard. Everything was perfect in fact better than we imagined. Then this year after taking a tree down we decided to have the fence installed on the opposite side of our yard by Ameri Dream Fence & Deck. Out came a different salesman. He measured and gave us a price to finish the fencing. It was significantly less length fencing than the previous length fencing, The price was more than half of their last install 1st install $7200.00 2nd install $4000.00 and it was allot less fence. But we wanted everything to match and we were so pleased with them the first time. We recommended Ameri Dream to our daughter who spent $12,000.00 with them. The first gate installed was beautiful and it came with a door like keyed lock system. The second gate came with the old latch that flips up or down. We contacted our salesman and he said he would take care of it. After many many unanswered calls and no reply to many many texts I have given up and have had to contact the Better Business Bureau and leave this review. I hope if after reading this review you still want to go with Ameri Dream Fence & Deck you get everything in writing and do not pay in full until you have everything installed and inspected. I review everything I buy and I hate to give such a bad review due to a salesman that doesn't have the guts to answer a phone or reply to a text. THEY DESERVE 0 STARS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE HORRIBLE! Our sales guy, Bert, was great in the beginning, but now he's ghosting us after sending him multiple texts about our concerns with the installation of our fence. Our fence isn't even completed because the installers didn't have enough material. How does that even happen? We were told the installation would take 1 day, but the installers showed up and just put the posts in and left. Assumed they would be back on Monday. Nope - showed up on Tuesday. No one called us to let us know what was going on at all. Couldn't communicate with the installers since they didn't speak English. Both gates are crooked and many parts of the fence show shoddy workmanship, plus, no one from the company has come to even inspect the work that has been done. Numerous voicemails have been left as well as texts to Bert. My husband told Kenya in the office that he wanted to speak to a manager about our concerns - have yet to receive a call and that was 5 weeks ago. Of course, my husband received a call 2 days ago about our past due balance that just came across Kenya's desk. When he explained our concerns again, she said that someone would be out today to finish the install. As of 7:30 p.m., no one has showed up today. However, my husband received a text today with our invoice to pay our balance. Unbelievable! No one from the company has contacted us to help us resolve our concerns and our fence remains unfinished since June 5! We are totally disgusted with this company. Terrible company, they made countless mistake on a 75ft run of fence. They showed up and did not have an English speaking guy on the crew so there was no talking to them. They put the gate in the wrong spot and had to move it. The crew was being pushed as they worked in the rain and the dark. I had to get a good contractor to finish the job. You can't get ahold of this company either, they call me out of the blue and want the balance and never completed the work yesterday... Dealing with Ameridream has been far from a dream, but more like a nightmare!! Recently retired from the Army and now settled and my new home, I wanted to provide a quality fence for my loving and caring dog. On 04/18/17, the date of the quote, the sales representative was late approximately 2-3 hours. In conversation, he advised us that since we were in unincorporated Cook County, that we could waive the permit. This turned out to be untrue. One week prior to install, we get a call requesting the permit number and that if we could not furnish, we would have to move our install date. We did what any paying customer would do and we immediately took action to work with Cook County to get our permit number so that Ameridream could confirm our Target Install date. After we submitted the permit number, they confirmed our install date for 06/05/17 as per the signed contract. On Saturday 06/03/17, late afternoon, we received a message from Karen the Scheduling Manager, advising us that, our install date of June 5, 2017, would have to be moved to Tuesday 06/06/17 and cited that crews were backed up. They mentioned that the work would now be performed on Tuesday June 06, 2017 and the crew would show up between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. On 06/06/17, at 10am, not a crew member has showed up to the site and no one from the company has called to inform us they would be late. We decide to call and to our surprise, they moved the date again. After several conversations with Grace, which I believe may have been the receptionist, we spoke to Karen the Scheduling Manager. She cited that the reason, they did not show up is because we were now scheduled for Wednesday 06/07/17. This is new news to us as no one informed us this was the case. She stated that they inadvertently, called the wrong inspector and upon them realizing, Ameridream called the correct inspector and found out the inspector would not be available on June 06, 2017 as they promised/confirmed in their voicemail. She could offer no other explanation or possible way to rectify other than demanding whether we wanted the job performed Wednesday, 06/07/17 or not. Of course, we want them to complete the job they were contracted and paid to do. However, she failed to assure me that they would capable of meeting obligations as they have demonstrated. How can I be assured they won't cancel on me again? This is no way to treat a retired veteran that has served this country. read more

I had a 4 foot tall gates installed on my BRAND new driveway... the sales rep said you won't even be able to notice us cutting into your new asphalt...... Well they installed 6FOOT POST for a 4 foot gate.. they had to cut the post down once I told the worker it was not correct. He came back a different day and used a sawsall on the post 1inch away from my brand new siding... he hit the siding, chewed up the post with the sawsall, looks like he dropped it and dented the siding right there also, the gates are uneven and droop. On top of all this I stressed to the sales rep I don't want my new driveway looking bad... when the crew left there were CRATERS Around each post! MY HUSBAND HAD ADDED ASPAHLT TO ALL 3 posts on the driveway!!!!! Recently worked with AmeriDream for tear down (and haul away) and install a new fence in Lemont. Tom very knowledgeable and explained everything. However, the fence was installed resting on 90% of the lawn. I filed a complaint with them and were very good about follow-up to send someone out. It was easily agreed that the fence needed to be raised and came out within a week or so to correct. Looks great, nice people to work with. Would recommend at this time. read more

First time home-buying can be intimidating, Bert and his team could tell I was anxious to build a fence for my dogs as winter was approaching quickly. I spoke with Bert and we scheduled an appointment, he was very easy to communicate and work with. Not only was he patient but also attentive and responded to my calls promptly. Had vinyl privacy fence installed. Fence instaltion was sub par, very minimal concrete used, posts flap in the wind like paper, fence wasnt even 6 months old before it fell over, and then they sent me a bill to fix it. Joe the sales guys told me stifners would be installed in every 3rd post when he came to my house and sold the job. when i asked about the stifners he made it sound like it was common practice for them to be installed so i didnt think to make sure it was written on my estimate. so no suprise they were not installed and the fence fell down 6 months later. Wasn't even the cheapest quote i recieved. Was issues on instaltion day of post not placed where orginaly told. gaps in fence and between posts had to come back out and fix it. I woudnt recommend them to anyone. Then when the fence fell over, took over a week to get a phone call back once posting on there social media. will be filling complaints with BBB and contacting a lawyer read more
