When I entered the store, the employee on duty (an older gal) looked over the shoulder of the customer that she was helping to ask, "What did you need today?" and i responded, "I'd like to do a payday loan." Since apparently discretion and privacy really isn't a big enough deal to take care of one customer at a time she decided to continue. Her response, "Are you a customer?" and surprised at the question, I responded, "I might be one today." She says, "Well, do you have the paperwork that is required?" So I pull out my ID, my most recent paystub and the most recent bank statement available online from Bank of American which was the statement dated August 8th. She glances at the paperwork and says, "Is this all you have? Do you have the bank statement showing your August bank information?" my response, "No, this one is the most recent one available on the bank's website. August just ended over the holiday weekend so I guess it hasn't posted the new one yet." She continues, "Well, the bank should be able to provide you with the August data and I will need that to be able to do anything for you. Are you going to go get it?" I let her know that I guess I wouldn't be a customer today after all and I'd just take care of the loan somewhere else, so she thanked me and told me to have a good evening. I drove to the next payday loan place, obviously not a check into cash, and was in and out in 15 minutes with a $200 loan.

I have been with this Bank's loan Department for just a little under a year... Had worked things…read moreout to buy a new car as I needed one pretty badly. This bank picked up first so I went with them... I would strongly recommend shopping around.... I had no idea what kind of problems I was getting into with this bank.... Extremely pawnshop mentality. They will do whatever they can to nickle and dime a person as best they can. They have a auto pay rule on their loan payments page that will charge twice to making your payment early. I recently just got out of surgery and was looking for a little bit of wiggle room as I have been making my payments.... and once charged twice for the same month, and requested information on possibly allowing me a little time approximately a month and a half to get things going again.... As I have already vested a good deal of money into this car in just the time I have worked with this bank.... They gave no such time.... whatsoever.... very poor customer service.... could have received the same from a payday loan.... And, went straight to we will repossess your car... Not a good bank to do business with.... Please do yourself a favor and shop around....
