Doesn't it seem odd they have mostly five star reviews? It always makes me wonder if these are paid…read morereviews. I decided to come on here and share my experience. We had a terrible closed cell insulation job done by another company. After a very expensive fog test we were told we were only 20% insulated. We were completely ghosted by another company who wouldn't even give us a quote after requiring the $550 fog test that we did have completed. I was scared. Our electric bill went up into the $600's in summer. We had to worry about mildew. We weren't up to code. Tyler, Trey and Taylor come out to take a look. They talked to me about concerns and expectations. They gave me a quote on the spot. These guys were on it! We had to have our soffit removed and then closed cell foam sprayed to fill the large obvious gaps and new soffit replaced. Every single person that came onto our property was respectful. Professional. Prepared. Punctual. Tyler would check in periodically to make sure my expectations were being met. That I was comfortable and to answer any questions I had. They did not hit me with extra fees or charges. The job was completed in a timely manner even considering the great Florida freeze we had. It was refreshing to have a company come out and lay it out on the table so you understand what is to be done, how much it will cost, the time it will be done and then actually do what they say. We have been scammed by two companies for a large amount of money since living in Lakeland. I am very hesitant and afraid to hire contractors. I would not hesitate in using Insulflo again in the future

They explained everything and showed me exactly what to expect with depths and coverage. They sealed the building up tight! Thank you to Insulflo, Tyler, and his team!!! Update: We had them come back to fix a small issue. They were communicative and helpful and did a great job! Tyler and Tyler were great!

He Inspected the entire attic which was not an easy job due to my roof design. Once completed, he told me that everything was up to code and in good condition and nothing had to be done. When I asked him what I owed, he said it was a free service and wouldn't take anything. Greg said he believed in doing the right thing and that is a rare quality these days in so many businesses. He will have my business in the future if needed and I urge everyone who sees this to please contact him. Thank you Greg, you are one of the good guys.

We have a condo and wanted it to sound proof one interior wall (8 x 34). Our neighbor is not loud…read moreloud but at times she is. I called Greg at Central Florida Insulation. He came out and brought a 2 x 4 sheet of Thermafiber SAFB. After measuring he gave me quote. I told him what we wanted and why. He told "this is the best and will do the job". I had to hire a drywaller to remove my old drywall so the new Thermafiber could be installed. Drywaller came did the tear out. (good job). Central Florida came put a 3" sheet and a 1 1/2" over top the 3" sheet (total of 4 1/2") in our wall. Again, Greg said "this should sound proof the wall". Drywaller came back and finished the drywall (good job). Late that after noon the neighbor got a little loud, stero and singing but nothing more than usual. The problem,,,,,The Thermafiber DID NOTHING to reduce the sound. It is worthless. Greg said he has more than 15 years in insulation and Thermafiber SAFB is the best. If Greg would have told me the sound reduction product may or may not work I could have decided base on may or may not and would have to bitch's. But again, "this is the best and will do the job". This was very costly for NO RESULTS. This product is WORTHLESS and Greg isn't as knowledgeable as he seems to think he is or is he? Mitch Rohlman Sebring,Fl.

I am in southern Florida, and I bought some acreage in a semi-rule area. I wanted to build a…read morehurricane proof house. It is not only hurricane proof, but also fireproof and tornado proof. Of course, if a tree falls on the house, then it will be damaged. But the walls, windows, doors, roof can handle winds over 200mph. ICF house with poured 6" concrete walls, metal roof too. The walls are 12' 5" thick including stucco, insulation, poured concrete, drywall, 1"x4" etc.... As seen here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVrpCLWONi2MQG-xCHIOPQXwjTHtXNCeX 1: I contacted 18 builders (emails, phone calls, online forms). 11 got back to me out of 18. I then asked those 11 if they build on an owner's lot in Frostproof. Some said no because they only build in their own developments. This left me 7. I then gave these 7 builders a preliminary blueprint of my house and its location (Frostproof on Woodstork Way). 3 came back with general construction dollars/numbers and they also had suggestions for walls, roof, insulation, windows, garage door via email. The final three were: www.lexxusconstruction.com and www.whitmorebuilders.com and www.stewart-construction.net Now I had it narrowed down to 3 builders. 2: I then spent a few hours researching these 3 companies. I looked many factors, including but not limited to BBB (better business bureau), yelp reviews, google reviews, how many times have they built in Polk County, reputation. 3: I even drove to Bartow and did a face-to-face meeting (glass partition between us because of the Covid 19 virus) with a Polk County Florida building inspector that suggested some questions to ask the builders I am interested in working with. (He did not put them in writing, so I took notes on a note pad. I believe he did not want to show a preference but did help me expand my knowledge on how to find a builder). 4: I followed his and also my friend's advice and picked Stewart Construction, they stood out above the rest. (My best friend is in Minnesota, which is where I am from. He had built two homes before. He built his primary home from a lot like I am going to do, but he also built a rustic cabin, so he has gone through this process twice before finding builders and asking questions of the prospective builder. 5: It also appears that Stewart Construction is one of the largest residential home construction builders in central Florida area. 6: But the biggest was a recommendation from www.foxblocks.comsaying that Stewart Construction has experience with FoxBlocks and has indeed built homes using ICF Blocks from www.FoxBlocks.com. 7: I took 74 videos showing each and every step of the construction process starting at the day of the lot being cleared, all the way up to after I moved in. They did a fantastic job, especially with all the problems with the Virus hitting us and also with all the problems of the economy in 2021. They started early 2021 and ended in December 2021. (74+ videos from 5 different cameras: 3 cams mounted outside that are cellular enabled security cameras, 1 drone and my cell phone). Here are the 74 videos: YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/user/mrsallhomebased/videos 8: They did a fantastic job. High quality work. My biggest suggestion to you is to upgrade all the materials, listen to the construction companies' suggestions. I did and I paid for the top-of-the-line materials to be installed. The main reason is that the labor is going to be nearly the same between the highest quality materials installation and lower quality material installation, so why not just pay a little extra for the highest quality material installed. Upgraded: Including but not limited to a metal roof, insulation of that roof on the roof decking, Cambria Quartz counters, wood flooring, wall and attic insulation, poured concrete walls using: ICF www.foxblocks.com, quality of the ceiling lights and outside lights too, plus upgraded windows, doors, HVAC system and more.

Website is Unlimited Ducts Cleaning/Unlimited Ducts Cares. Don't trust Facebook Ads. There was a…read more$199 offer for duct cleaning for no matter house size and vents. Husband and I were skeptical. Both of us worked in sales, and my husband is now in construction, we knew they would try to upsell to recoup the cost. We had never had our ducts cleaned before, so we didn't want to spend too much money. 1) "Leroy" was supposed to come at 9, but came at 12. He only came with a wet/dry vac. Was told they don't do all the ducts, just the duct entrance in the attic and air returns. He didn't try to clean all of ducts, only 1 of the returns and the duct opening in the attic. 2) Leroy went to the attic, and within the first 10 minutes, he came down and showed me a video of "type 5 mold". I went into the attic and verified there is mold (of which kind and level I haven't had checked out yet). His company could clean the whole ducts, but it would be over a $1k. He didn't want to do to much because then he would have to suit up. After him and I talking to my husband, I told Leroy to have the office send an estimate, then we would give it to the homeowners. He kept pushing and pushing. 3) After another 10 minutes, Leroy came back and said my ducts were not properly installed and insulated, which is why I have mold, but they could redo everything. Told him again, don't have the money and I don't own the house. 4) Leroy told me the "dust" we kept seeing is fiberglass insulation. He said there should be no exposure to the insulation. Again, they could fix it. 5) Leroy told me he could spray microbial spray in the opening for $300. Told him we only had money for the duct cleaning. 6) Finally, their customer service person called my husband at 4 AM for a review. When my husband brought up the fact it was so early, rep said "I'm a poor college student in "Pakistan". After "Leroy" left talked to family friend and home owner who are engineers- the ducts were properly installed, and there is special insulation that surrounds the air returns. My family friend gave me a list of things to do to get rid of the mold and dry out my system. Again, we went into this with eyes wide open and skeptical. Don't trust Facebook ads. If it's too good to be true, it is. "Leroy" only cleaned 1 of the returns and the duct entrance in the attic.
