The terminal was recently renovated and is modern and clean with natural wood tones, stone work, and river-inspired flooring patterns, There was ample seating options. There is limited food options, Jimmy Johns, Tropical Smoothie , Costa Coffee and Aletitude Bar. It was a seamless process.

A special message to the man at the information desk, at the baggage claim area, who insisted that there were no signs indicating the rental car counters or at the baggage claim area. The picture I've posted with this message proves otherwise, as I insisted to him several times. I hope I return to this airport when they're done all the construction. I won't have to run back-and-forth through the Construction tunnel 3-4 times to get to the right rental car area. It was rather annoying.

In returning 7 hours delay from Athens Greece to Atlanta, technical problem again. We end up returning 11:00 PM. All passengers lost connections so they put us overnight in local hotels. We have to carry our check in luggage no arrangements to final destination, two people try to accommodate delayed passengers, horrible slow service. Consider that after a 12 hours flight and the delay that they cause. Worst the next day I had to check in and go through 2.5 hours in the line for TSA inspection that I would have not had to do if there was no delay and had connected in my final destination as scheduled. I wrote to their CEO never reply. Receive an email from customer service apologizing! I will never use them again if I can help it.

I used Delta for a recent weekend girl's trip in Asheville, NC and flew into this airport. My flights were on time for both arrival and departure from this airport and on to ATL for a connecting flight back to VA and my bags were out quickly and bag drop was easy on return flight home. I love Delta's app and bag tracking and their updates on delays or issues where you can easily rebook through their app without having to speak to an agent or stand in line somewhere. Delta isn't perfect but they appear to be doing it better than most. No issues from me with my trip!

Due to the ongoing terminal reconstruction, navigating the maze of ramps between the aircraft and terminal also seemed unnecessarily difficult and confusing. That said, our departure experience the next morning was the complete opposite. The morning agents were exceptionally pleasant, professional, and efficient, making the process smooth and stress-free. Hopefully the arrival-side experience improves once construction is complete, because the staff we encountered later showed how good the service can be.
