My flight was delayed an hour, but I had things to do while waiting. Overall, a good experience.

Arriving here from Lima, the immigrations line for non-Chileans was ridiculously long and only 4 immigrations officer were there. So despite landing 30 minutes early, I didn't get a head start to my Chilean adventure because I was stuck in line at immigrations. The airport itself if nice, modern and bright. Shops, lounges and restaurants aplenty. Bathrooms are pretty clean. Flying from SCL to Easter Island: It is highly recommended to get here 3 hours prior to departure because there's only 2 PDI officers. You check in with LATAM, go through security then, go through a separate check for Easter Island. Be sure to complete your paperwork online prior to coming to the airport to make the process faster. You'll get a QR code which you may or may not have to show to the officer with your proof of accommodation on Easter Island. Then, find your boarding gate or if you have time, go to the lounge before boarding your flight. Coming back from Easter Island to an international flight: You come back to SCL. Go through PDI to give them your ticket with a QR code. Walk about 15 minutes from the domestic terminal to the international terminal. Follow the yellow signs.

They definitely had the most leg room and had no one reclining on us which was great. The bus was fairly grubby and the toilet was basic but it was ok. The bus was 1hour late leaving the station. The Pullman office in the station didn't open until a few minutes before the bus arrived. Luckily we had bought our tickets in advance online. The bus was meant to take 11 hours and arrive at 7pm but instead we arrived at 10PM!!! The bus didn't didn't even make one food stop the whole journey so come prepared!! It pulled over several times for the bus drivers to check the bus because there was a smell of burning?? The drivers asked us for tips at the end. We found this hilarious considering we were 3 hours delayed!! The views are incredible. The left hand side sees more of the mountains initially!

I couldn't find any bad reviews on Pullman so we decided to take this bus line instead. Honestly it was a seamless experience and felt quite safe. We went to Viña Del Mar and decided to take the bus from the Pajaritos bus station because it is significantly less crowded than Alameda. Plus it's only 1h20m from Pajaritos vs 1h50m from Alameda. Avoid the busy bus stop and take the metro to Pajaritos if you can. It's easy to take on the Red Line.

Plenty of booze to drink including an excellent beer and wine. Along the tour, led by the very entertaining Samy, we saw the sights and some of the places that make up Santiago's culture including the park, the Cerro Santa Lucia, a few neat neighborhoods and ending up near Bellas Artes. We met Nikolas at the assigned spot and we waited about five minutes for two others who were booked but had not arrived. Oh, well. His English was excellent and completely understandable. Interesting spots on the tour and not just food. A good amount of cultural spots as it was neat to learn about Chile and Santiago's history. Lots of walking, too! A little but too much "talking" here and there, but that's just me. Food on the tour included empanadas, a pisco sour, coffee and a pastry, and a tasty meal at a restaurant that I'd already bookmarked to hit up during my time here. Oops. Well worth it.

My husband and I got off the plane at 9am, dropped our stuff off at the hotel, and began the tour at 12. The plan was to do anything and everything to stay awake until it was bed time in order to lessen the onset of jet lag. We were in for a real treat and were enthralled with the things we saw on the tour through Santiago. With stops at Santa Lucia Hill, the Bella Vista District, and Santiago's bustling city center, we didn't have time to think about being sleepy. The next day we had Ariel as our driver again (very happy about that) and our guide was now Estéban. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the many different goings on in this country, but was most passionate about nature, respecting the land and the people who made it so. Best part of the trip was standing atop a silent mountain and watching the incredible condors gliding in between the peaks. Mesmerizing. Loved both days we spent with Servitour guides Ariel, Borris, and Estéban. I'm looking forward to returning to Chile and having them take us on other adventures.

All staff members were ready to give directions and assist us in finding places to eat. We spent 2 nights here. We were very happy that the staff allowed us to have breakfast when we arrived at 8AM after 14 hours of traveling. The breakfast was simple but we were so grateful for the toast, cookies, ham, cheese and coffee. We were not able to check in until later that that day, but the staff allowed us to store our bags at the hotel so that we could explore Santiago a bit. The rooms were small, but very clean. The AC units were a little wonky and took a long time to cool the spaces, but overall only a minor complaint. We had a wonderful time during our stay!

The girls working the front desk were friendly and according to my brother: super hot. He might have mentioned this several times. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered a car service to pick me up at the airport. Having endured 48 hours worth of flight delays, I was happy to not have to use my brain. It's simple, safe, clean, and close to the metro. They also have a little kitchen with a simple breakfast in the mornings. What more could you ask for?

Our guide, Cristian, arrived at our hotel around 8am in a very nice bus and we proceeded to pick up the other guests at their hotels. On the way through the city, Cristian provided a "city tour" and tons of interesting information. This continued after we left Santiago and travelled through the countryside on the way to Casablanca valley. The wineries we went to were great (Loma Larga, Bodegas RE, and Morandé). We purchased wines at the first two! Note: LOma ships back home for free but Bodegas doesn't offer shipping) The lunch was four courses of delicious bread, poké, steak and risotto, and dessert with sparkling wine tasting! We left and we're back at our hotel by 5:30 in time to get ready for our evening plans! I would HIGHLY recommend this Uncorked tour, it is WELL worth it. Cristian is starting his own tour company on the coast in Valparaiso, "Coast of Poets" so he won't be touring any longer sadly.
