Security at Islip is Fast, the Frontier counter is very friendly as long as you are not asking for free upgrades or free stuff that you should have paid for and the whole team was efficient. I last flew from Islip to Atlanta in December, 2025 and had trouble with my paperwork for my service dog. Queen Everett who is a Frontier employee was kind, helpful and gave me great customer service to clear up the problem and get me, my daughter and my service dog on the plane. I've long believed that "personnel is policy" and it seems most certainly true here. On a flight from Long Island to Fort Lauderdale , most of the staff was ok, but there were several attendants that seemed to forget that they were actually charged with servicing a flying public. Short tempered and dismissive are the two terms that seem to sum up some of the attendants and unfortunately tarnished the experience of the others. I hope they fix this soon because the convenience of flying from Long Island could really use a boost with some great service.

As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. First off, my wife and I traveled to Clearwater, FL in November 2018 and our flight was an hour or two late there which is normal nowadays. We enjoyed Clearwater but I got sick at the end of the trip and had to be hospitalized due to high ammonia levels which was a first for me. As soon as I got out of the hospital, we needed to fly back. Our flight was delayed for over 12 hours which made me very uncomfortable. They gave everyone on the flight a voucher for $250 to try their airlines again. Not really worth it and I was upset but my wife and I let it go. We ended up using the $500 credit and another several hundred of our own money on a flight to Chicago during the Summer in 2019. We should have known better, the whole experience was a TOTAL disaster. We experienced several delays, clueless customer service representatives (tried to put us on a 4:30 pm connecting flight) and the flight was exceedingly long as they kept us circling in the air above our destination. This made my wife extremely sick (she is a type 1 diabetic). She said something about it to the crew and was ignored. When she got off the plane she went to the nearest lavatory and threw up excessively. What really made me upset was no one at JetBlue was willing to help us out AT ALL! I called and tried to see if executive offices would remedy this and they responded by telling me to go to hell.
