We wanted to install a 1 or 2-zone system, but my condo has a number of unique complications, though, so we weren't able to go forward with the project at that time. Fast-forward a couple years, and we decided to revisit the idea. We also decided to go big or go home this time, with a 5-zone system for the whole house. This time we got estimates from two other companies first, but one provided an extremely high quote and the other basically said that we were asking an impossible job that they could not do. So we reached out to NETR again, and it worked out great. The NETR price was literally more than 10K less (!!!) than what we were quoted by the other company, and they took care of all the secondary project burdens like City of Somerville building permits, upgrading our electrical service, etc. They gave us a clear idea of what to expect in terms of construction disruption, the workers were friendly and unobtrusive, and they finished the work right on schedule. It's too early to speak with certainty about the quality of the system we installed, but we are thrilled to finally have this project complete, and are very satisfied with the pricing, service, and installation work.

We were told it would cost about $ 600 to repair with a one year warranty but if we wanted a better capacitor with a 5 year warranty the cost would be about $850. I asked him why it was so expensive if its a simple job and the part is low cost and he mumbled something about overhead and the cost of doing bussiness. When we got the bill it was $979 with the diagnostic added in. Ive since looked up the going rate for this work and it runs around $150-$300 so we were charged triple the normal cost. I really feel like my wife and I were taken advantage of because we are both elderly. Please avoid this preadatory company at all costs.

At first I thought I'd save money by purchasing air conditioner units from Amazon, but the number of reviews about units broken in the mail didn't make me confident that the discount would be so worthwhile. I could have gone to a big box store, but with crazy heat & humidity, that didn't seem worth the schlep. So I called Concept. Brad was very knowledgeable about the building I was moving into, and he gave me well-reasoned suggestions about BTU size & brands. He also had an excellent sense of humor, which helped put me at ease, as the total extent of my knowledge of A/C units is based on experiences 2 decades ago in Florida. Zach and Ray, the friendly installers, came right on time. The 2 units were up and running in about 5 minutes, with proper holes drilled for frame screws, and weather-stripping insulation in place. Ray went over the operation of each unit thoroughly & patiently--he demonstrated all the digital functions, and also how to clean the filters. I'd never seen window air conditioners properly installed before, and wow, am I ever impressed! So much better looking than any installation I or my friends or my friends' fathers have done. And Brad was absolutely right about the size of the units. Now that I'm moved in, they are cooling the rooms beautifully. It sure pays to pay for quality service. I had a challenging wiring problem (undetectable via instrumentation due to metal in walls) that my first electrician refused to fix, but Puccio was able to resolve (although it took two visits). While at my home, I also had them address some minor issues (e.g., 1 outlet replaced, 1 junction upgraded to light switch) in addition to the main wiring problem. The team was friendly, professional and cleaned up after. They told me up front what their hourly rate was and warned me in advance what the total cost might be. The final bill reflected that rate/estimate (and minimal materials cost with expected hours) so I feel they are very honest. As other reviewers have mentioned, they are expensive (initial visit / 1st hour is about 300$, but less after that), but I can tell you that a good electrician is very hard to find and they are worth it. If you have an urgent problem or are on a tight budget, you may wish to look elsewhere, but if you want excellent electricians and are patient, use Puccio.

John reached out for feedback the day after the install and I let him know what I wasn't quite happy with (placement of the Playbar wasn't as ideal as I had wanted and removal of a cable I didn't expect them to remove).
