Under those circumstances, clear and consistent communication was absolutely critical. Several aspects of our experience stood out. First and foremost, the quality of the work was exceptional. The finished product is beautiful, and the attention to detail is evident throughout the entire house. Second, during the planning phase, Prime Design provided a comprehensive list of decisions we needed to make--from flooring and countertops to every light fixture and faucet. This created a clear roadmap for the project, helped us select items that complemented one another, and documented every choice along the way. As a result, there were no surprises when the project was completed. Finally, because we were still living out of state during much of the construction, regular communication was essential. We received frequent progress updates and photos, which allowed us to monitor the work, confirm that everything met our expectations, and feel confident that the project was moving in the right direction. As an added bonus, Kim helped me pick colors and make design choices that really made my home look the way I wanted. They have a really good eye. They patched several holes and dings in the walls and fixed some chewed up trim from dog damage. Now I want to get the upstairs painted! In terms of communication, they were excellent. Very prompt reply (we're talking a matter of hours after I first reached out to them). Any decisions made during the project were quick. They were always reachable by phone. There were several annoying little problems that they also addressed in the course of the job (broken light switch, busted knob). They fixed everything they encountered which was a real relief to me. Jesse set proper expectations about when he could complete the work (he's busy!) and provided an estimate. We stayed in contact regularly until he was able to start the project. I was very happy with the finished product and appreciated how they always cleaned up the site at the end of the day. The final bill was exactly what he quoted me. Since my first experience with Jesse was so positive, he was the first person I called when a tree fell on my roof during our last windstorm. Jesse came right over, assessed the situation and quickly determined that the limb went through the roof. With rain in the forecast, Jesse immediately sent a lift truck to my house (I have a 40 ft roof) and sent a crew to repair the roof that day.
