I had a very stressful experience with Nick and his partner and in the moment I did give them the benefit of the doubt with a lot of medical/personal things Nick shared. In return, he ghosted me not paying for damages and he left unfinished work. I'll give him credit that he did come back and forth to work with us in the beginning, but after paying him full I realized that was a mistake.

arthur schroeder is a handiman and painter. i did not check his license. he reworked a bathroom…read morefor me that a prior contractor had worked pn. he did a poor job. his workmanship is lacking and i would never have him as a painter. there are spaces between the waincoating. the base is not attached in some places. he used plywood board on top of a sink cabinet. he re used boards the prior contractor used for trim around top of waincoating and they aren't all attached.m and in fact the corners don't match. he has never given me a bill though i have paid him. he was supposed to fix the floor under a claw foot tub and document with photos which he never did. i doubt it was done. he stole all of my windows replaced by andersen doors and windows without asking me if he could have them and i wanted to used them in an apt that i am making in my shop. he won't give me a bill though i have paid him for work weekly and through the bathroom work. i'm not sure what he did when i was gone except let andersen in and steal the windows and doors. do not hire this man. he doesn't care about quality or following thru. he won't bill you or do what he says he will do.
