Didn't even step foot in the shop. Booked an appointment with Nicolai for 4:30 pm (it's currently 3:34 pm) & he cancelled my appointment telling me I need to book 24 hours in advance. No where in his policy does it state that, he just sent a message after the fact. If he's not working those hours WHY have them available to book????? So save yourself the headache, book with someone else. read more

Walk-ins are not welcome as other reviewers have posted. Barbers will ignore you and will just stand around talking. I was the only person sitting for a barber. No acknowledgement. $30 for a walk-in and no customer service? After 25 minutes, I left and saved myself some money for crappy service. read more

Multiple times I have came to this barbershop, and every time the staff is unbothered by customers, they give no updates on whether you're next in line to get a cut, they don't have a sign in sheet, the barbers in the back only prefer to cut kids hair despite order of arrival, overall this barbershop does not care for its customers. Took my son to Nava's Barber shop to get his hair cut. Upon arrival I was greeted with Hi how can we assist you today all the barbers acknowledged our arrival. I was a walk in and I was asked to put my name in. I was taken in by one of the barbers named Edwin. Very pleased with my son's haircut he got exactly what my son asked for and the design. Overall price is good they take walk-in and appointments. I will definitely take my boys back to this shop and will refer my friends and family. read more

Rudest barbers I have ever met in my life. I was getting my haircut from this one female barber Jessica or Jennifer I think is her name. I showed up a couple minutes late maybe 2 minutes max and she said she couldn't cut my hair. There was no one waiting for a haircut so I ended up getting a haircut through a new barber and she didn't know what kind of style I wanted and ended up leaving my hair like a total mess. I don't suggest coming here they will be rude for no reason. read more

His barber was making small talk about becoming a men's barber because "they are not picky" and "they just want their hair cut" give no regard to the audience she's speaking to (the person sitting under her hand as she's cutting his hair"!!!! I wouldn't even give this barbershop not one star. My first time going here. You walk in and no one even greets you or ask if You have an appointment like any other barber shop I've been to normally does. I made an appointment with this looser that goes by AJ and the guy never even showed up to our appointment. Wasted my time! Then Nava, who I think must be the owner, finally walks up to me 20 min later and asked if I have an appointment. I said yes with AJ. He tries calling him several times and never answers. Another barbers tells him " where's your Allstar barber at?" And laughs. He told me he does this a lot and asked if I'd like to reschedule. I said no! He did this once and he'll do it again. Let this guy go. Just cause you think you're an "allstar" barber don't mean you can do whatever you want. read more

Came here to cut my little brother's hair. The establishment was pretty packed on a weekend day. It was all hands on deck. You just walk in and sign up your name on the form. When someone gets free they will call who else is next. My brother did have a lot of hair. All in all for the price it wasn't an amazing haircut. It was average. They charged me $20 because he had a lot of hair. I've paid a lot less for a boy's haircut. I only came here for the other great reviews. This is more suited for an adult that doesn't mind paying a little extra to get his exact haircut style. I'll stick to cheaper options for my little brother's haircut. read more

Worse place I've ever been to try and get a haircut walked in put my name on the list and there was 2 people in front of me soon 5 more people walk in and out their name on the list without appts and they get called before me! Customer service sucks barbers are young and arrogant and must not care to take care of this establishment my money is as green as anyone's and I tip very good but I guess they will never find out I will never go back or tell anyone about this place I walked out with a terrible feeling not angry. I always get my cut at Nava's. I understand some people can get upset on wait times. But all that tells you is that these guys are good and they're always busy. Ive seen a few people wait a bit and some get mad. Most of these guys schedule appointments that's why you see them hanging around in some cases. This place is good on appointments Danny Martinez has alway took care of me and he is proper and is always good on his word. Nice barbershop but lacks experience . I don't mean just a fade . I mean straight razor , hot/cold towel , after shave etc etc ... they don't know the true purpose of the hot towel. If you are young and just want a face with machines . They are good . But scissors/ hot towel / straight razor , don't go to these guys . Being black and Mexican, he needed someone to give him a look that makes him feel comfortable in his skin. Ay Jay did just that as well as the shop. After reading most commentary reviews on this shop, it's relatively disappointing. Hope to input some good sense and advise for new and previous clients. We have seen the growth and improvements of the shop for many years now. With Navas's hard work and dedication, his Team have accomplish to establish a great location and indeed a good set up for the shop. My brother and I have been getting our haircuts' at Navas's Barbershop for over six years now. We have had our haircuts done by all barbers. In particular with Cary (the Jamaican guy) who has been my barber for over four years now. Without a doubt , my self and many other clients continue to be happy with their particular barber of choice. Friends and family will continue to get our haircuts at Navas's Barbershop for it's the best shop in the IE. Hope this information is useful. Took my 4 year old for a last minute haircut. It was about 930am. Walked in and was helped right away by AJ. He was phenomenal. Very detail oriented, and really great with my son. I can't say enough positive stuff about our experience. The customer service from AJ was awesome. My sons haircut looks fantastic. WE ARE BOTH VERY HAPPY.
