Much better than other local dealers. They really helped me out a few times. Warranty claim on a battery. Parts of all kinds and I've bought 2 bikes from them. Rob always remembers me and strikes up a conversation. Very charismatic and lots of cool bikes. Prices are fair service is quick. Don't go anywhere else in the area, I've had issues with almost all of them and American Biker has been the best.

Great place to get your motorcycle worked on where to buy a new bike or to get some gear

I think this is one of the best shops in town love the staff everyone's always friendly they've always got an event going on lots of cool Indian clothes and American biker gear can buy your accessories... Have your motorcycle serviced and a couple times a year hang out and listen to bands and drink beer

Bought my new Springfield from Rob. Best vehicle purchase I have had. Kudos to the team for a well run organization!

Bought my 21 Challenger from them and they are awesome, great service with Rob, Marc and even the owner Rich.

Went back on a Thursday still wasn't done I understand they're not a maintenance shop, but they do offer this service when I walked in on Thursday there was no one in the shop and they were just standing around talking this place, definitely needs new employees will not be going back

After a few days the tracking information shows that it is stalled and not moving between destinations. When I contacted FedEX to find out what's going on, they freely admitted that the shipment is lost and at some point between transfers was not scanned in, even though the trucks that were moving it reached their destinations. They informed me that they could do nothing unless Cyclegear submitted a claim or a ticket on behalf of the delivery.  I contacted Cyclegear to get them to resolve this issue and of course, they pulled the same old Corporate nonsense. "we can't do anything about this. I don't know what FedEx is talking about. We can't submit any tickets. I don't have access to those systems." yadda yadda yadda. just stonewalling me while holding over 700 of my hard earned dollars.  I then explained to them that the North Charleston Store here appears to actually have the helmet in question in stock, and that I would just go and pick my helmet up from that store's inventory. just refund me for the Helmet i ordered and I will repurchase there since it's available. i PAID for this helmet in full. you HAVE what I paid for. just let me pick it up since your shipping failed.but no. of course not. Cyclegear sees fit to take my money and give me NOTHING AT ALL in return. No recourse. Cyclegear is taking no action to resolve this, just leaving the lost helmet eternally in limbo with FedEx and offering me no compensation. Something that would be so simple to solve becomes impossible because some stooge in an office hiding behind a phone is too lazy to fix it.  This is a lifelong boycott. I am an avid motorcyclist who lives covered in motorcycle gear, and I will never spend money with Cyclegear, Revzilla, J&P cycles or any of their puppet shell companies ever again. And if that helmet ever does arrive (which I seriously doubt it eve will, FedEx was clear on this) I'm immediately returning it. You will never get my money again, because you lack the basic skills to deal with simple situations in a fair and courteous way, and that is unforgivable for a retail business.

I got a few things done to the CBR back in October of 2024, including getting the computer replaced because of crossed wires. Ever since I've gotten it back from this shop, the engine light comes on when I get the tachometer in high revs, but THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE BRINGING IT IN TO THEM! I swapped the VFR when I picked the CBR up in October and the shop mechanic Biggs said it might be a little while before I get it back because he had other big projects going. So I JUST got it back February 8 2025 and he didn't even TOUCH it!!! And he left it outside for some time, because it was filthy, covered in pine needles, and the battery was completely dead! Avoid this shop, because they are not professionally run at all.
