A/C stopped working on a Saturday 10 hr drive for vacation from Pittsburgh to Kiawah when it was 90 degrees outside. Called Harbor Care on Monday afternoon and got an 8 am appointment on Tuesday. I've used Harbor Car Care a couple times now for service and have been really pleased. While the hours are a bit limited (8a - 430p M-F), the location is extremely convenient for me, prices are reasonable and everyone I've encountered that works there is super friendly. It's hard to find a car care shop that feels legitimate and non salesy but the people here have never made me feel forced into anything and it definitely doesn't feel like they're just trying to upsell you. I plan to keep using them as long as I have a car so I hope they stay in this location for many years to come! read more

I'm a single mom they took full advantage of me. They quoted me 900 and wound up being 1500. They were only supposed to have my truck for 2 days, it took them 12. Not to mention I brought my own parts, they told me the parts wouldn't fit when I asked to get them back so I could get a refund. They told me they through them away. And they charged me for their parts. Please don't waste your time or money. These people are crooks!! read more

THIS PLACE WILL SCAM YOU!!!!!! I took my jeep into Harbor Car Care needing 2 rear calipers and to have the system bled. They charged me $660, added parts i didn't ask for, and still ended up with very spongy brakes. I took the jeep back to have them rebleed and they told me it was the master cylinder leaking, which was not broken before... Also cross threading the lines while putting it back together. Their inexperience shows and now its gonna cost me even more to have a real mechanic fix my broken car. Would not trust these guys they will bs you!! read more

We had an issue pop up with our car while on vacation and searched for a place to take it. We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we were assisted and how friendly the staff was to us as we waited on our repair. They have a very nice waiting room filled with snacks, coffee and water. It started with a quote for 875$ and could bring my own parts for an 8 hour job so I bring the truck drop it off a day and a half later I call be cause I haven't heard nothing only to be greeted by an angry old man who has a temper slams his hands down claims he's got grand children my age threatening that if I didn't like what he had to say he would push my truck out to road and I could have it towed then 8 days into an 8 hour job I get a phone call your parts are wrong can't use em hmmm took 8 days into an 8 hour job but ok well that's not the case they used my parts because when I asked for them back I got 3 different story's from three different people and then they claim my water pump was leaking ok cool I'll fix it that's a simple job nope harbor car care never calls me never nothing just changes it and then charges me for it the owner is aware her name is Karen but she does nothing she honestly stuck up for the shady shotty work they do I sure hope Karen runs the construction company better then her car care and I've reported them to bbb and will be calling the news it's a shame I once talked highly of this place and they dropped the ball in so many ways read more

Upon completion of advised work on my vehicle one of Associates proceeded to charge me almost double the amount that was quoted. He was unable to make it right because there was no manager on site. He proceeded to offer a poorly discounted amount. The workmanship was bad. The work was not completed in a timely manner. My truck is still not operating any better than it did when I brought it in.
