About 5 years ago I moved to buying online but now that the comics themselves have scaled up there cost and these 5 cover issue nonsense is so common it's no longer a value to purchase online. I'll tell you that the two gentleman I spoke to on my two visits were incredibly kind and were able to answer my questions. I collect TMNT comics first so it's nice to actually see those comics in the store. I am getting back into XMen which is good so far and Absolute Batman is wild. I'm in my 40s and have been collecting comics since I was a kid. This is a modern comic shop done right. So I'll stop in twice a month.

The staff member or owner informed us that they have been there since April 2023. Upon entering we were greeted and informed about the place. We loved the decor which has picture of various things from Starwars to Cookie Monster. I didn't know this was a niche of just "CARDS". It was spacious inside. Free to play your own cards and bring card games you want to learn. They said just inform them off the card game you want to learn and they will make it happen! So cool. They have weekly events going on like tournaments that has an entry fee and prize . I did ask the owner a lot of questions as you can search cards and purchase cards there! Pretty impressive. The dude thinks my niece would love this place and wants to bring her. IT's competition with beer with Meeples! Overall, glad we stopped in. They took time to look it up and gave me a price. I got with my wife and had her go purchase since I was unable to go due to work. Long story short , they claimed that price given over the phone was for a different card and that I had given the wrong description ( gave the exact description for the card) agreed to meet at a certain price for the inconvenience but then changed their mind. Ultimately they decided to choose greed over owning up to their mistake and providing good customer service. Do not recommend. P.S my wife felt she was treated poorly because she was female and didn't have a lot of knowledge of the product.
