Beautiful quality flowers! I typically order flowers for my mom each Valentines Day. Hadn't used A Secret Garden for several years (no particular reason) and didn't realize they were still in business since their move from Old Town. Stopped by their new location on Sunnyside and discussed the flowers and look of bouquet that I was interested in. My family likes nice flowers and I did not want stereotypical V-Day flowers (roses) . A Secret Garden delivered and my mom was extremely happy with what she received and she couldn't stop taking pictures of them.(attached) My mom said they were the best flowers she's ever received. The WORST service I have ever encountered. I placed the order a week ago to ensure my best friend received her flowers early for her birthday. It is now 12 and she has not received them. I called them TWICE and both times they have said to me that they are unable to research the order because it is an "older order" - this is some bullshit. How are they unable to lookup and order if the order number is provided to them!? This is ridiculous. I am so upset by this situation. What is the point of placing orders in advance if they're going to be late anyways? I promise I will NEVER order from secret garden again because clearly their secret is terrible service. read more

My son ordered flowers for his girlfriend. Paid extra to get the premium version of the valentines arrangement he chose. The pictures are definitely misleading. The size looked nothing like what he was shown online. I guess I should say thank goodness he didn't order the basic or she wouldn't have gotten much. Please use more realistic pictures so customers aren't fooled. Here's a picture of what she got and what she was supposed to get since he paid extra. We ordered the Clouds of Heaven bouquet for our friends memorial service. I was so thankful for the Saturday delivery. A Secret Garden is the worst florist I've ever dealt with. They should be embarrassed to call themselves a florist. I went into the business today to order flowers for my daughters birthday. I was extremely clear on what I wanted and the person who took my order also seemed to understand. I even referred to a picture of a bouquet that they make in the shop. Their delivery was ugly, cheap, completely different from what I had ordered and referred too. This consisted of the wrong color of only roses (which was not the order), shabby craftsmanship, being overly expensive, and embarrassing. I'm super disappointed. I took a while to think about posting this review, but I feel the need to. This business did my wedding flowers for me. I was super disappointed in what I got from them. During my quote, Aubrey explained very beautiful and full flowers to me. Seeing all of her posts on Instagram, I don't understand how other brides got such nice bouquets, and I got one that looked like I could've picked up from Vons. It was small and underwhelming and did nothing for my wedding day. After a few hours it was wilted, refer to picture. I think she needs to be way more clear about what a certain price will get you, because I expected so much more. Even the center piece flowers were pretty skimpy and not what was described. I paid over 2k for my wedding flowers and expected a lot more. She also kept mentioning how she quoted me too low for a rental item. If she is so concerned about how much she is making off of a client, then she should have a minimum and not make me believe that I was getting what I was envisioning for my wedding day. I love this gem of a place even as a guy. This is the definition of small businesses that we should support. It is a wonderful neat florist but much more than that. I stepped in due to the interesting yard that they had. They do not allow pictures in the store due to the intellectual property of the designs from the respective local artist. They display wonderful reasonably priced and locally made household items as well as small accent furniture. I couldn't be more impressed with this place. As a dude, I am not a huge flower guy. I called them and described over the phone what I wanted and what price range I was looking to spend. I was thoroughly turned off the minute I walked in the door. Although the store is cute and kitschy, the customer service was under par. I asked for two small flower wreaths for my daughters, who were in store with me. The lady behind the counter made it seem like such a hastle and then quoted me an outrageous amount, over $150.00. Flower shopping should feel joyous not stressful and impossible. Thank goodness I found San Francisco Floral Fresno. They were amazing and friendly and pricing under $50 for both. I ordered flowers for my assistance yesterday. I ordered the middle level deluxe version of the arrangement. The first bouquet delivered looked nothing like the picture of the one I ordered on-line. Some of the flowers had brown edges. I called, complained and asked for them to remake the arrangement. I was told that the flowers with the brown edges were not dead, they are just that way. Who wants flowers like that? Not me! The new arrangement was definitely prettier, but still ia disappointment compared to the picture of the bouquet I ordered on-line. I called IN ADVANCE regarding my daughter's high school formal. I have been told that they run out of hands and time and can only accommodate so many people. Completely understandable. I told the shop that I would be in on a certain day and asked if I would be "safe" to order then. She laughed and said no problem. I ordered my wedding bouquet, 3 smaller bouquets for my maid of honor & 2 bridesmaids, and 6 boutonnières and they were able to make it work with my budget at that time. I was planning my wedding in 3 months time and didn't have an endless supply of money.
