But the older woman who I presume was the owner was extremely nasty & condescending to me. I was very polite I asked if she would be interested in a beautiful pair of Italian retro red hand-made ALL leather disco boots from the 70s in perfect condition. She took one look & said to me that they were not appealing in which my response is as I wrote above and that I would take my business elsewhere. It would've been totally fine to politely decline. There were other customers there that clearly were locals and she was very nice to them hence maybe the other positive reviews. As I walked out the door after ((politely)) telling her that I would just take my business elsewhere I heard her make a snide remark "good for you" snickering with her entourage. Turns out that the cabinet has no back. I don't mean the top shelf that has the three wooden slats--I mean the cabinet behind the doors. What cabinet doesn't have a back?! That's what a cabinet is. As assembled, the piece is not a cabinet; it is a set of shelves with doors in front of the lower two. I'm still trying to figure out a way to keep the dust out. The photos on the site carefully do not show this--I never would have bought it if this were shown. Shame on you, Manchester Wood. I thought I'd found a company I could trust. Instead, false advertising creeps in.
