The first time we called him was to inspect some areas of suspected mold growth in a home we were looking at buying. Michael was very thorough and found WAY more growth than our home inspector did. He knew just where to look throughout the house. Michael put together a great proposal for treatment which we ended up using to back out of the purchase. A couple months later, we went through with the purchase another home and found what appeared to be mold or mildew in the closets as we were moving in. (The closets had been piled full of the previous owners' belongings during the inspection and we didn't notice it during the final walkthrough.) We wondered if we had a bigger issue on our hands so we called Michael to come look at it. Again, he did a very thorough inspection, looking behind insulation in the basement and other places that wouldn't have occurred to me. Fortunately, he found that the closets seemed to be the only issue. He told us he would be happy to treat them for us but the issue was so minor we could safely and effectively do it ourselves for much less money.
